If a nord survived getting struck by lightning they probably think Kyne was either mad at them or was testing them.
Depends on the Nord's mindset at the time.

"Praise Arkay, and all her little woodland creatures! I'm Hil the Tall, Priest of Arkay. I'm also a trainer in the arts of Alteration. I love magic, too. I love everything. And everyone. You, too. I came here because I love nature. And because I didn't want to serve as a boot wizard in a mountain legion in Skyrim."
--Hil the Tall revealing he's not very good at being a Priest of Arkay. He's also an Illusion trainer, not Alteration.

@tes-summer-fest Storms/Magic: Pull that goddamn sun down anyway I can! (Kyne creates the first thunderstorm, blotting out the sun)
IMAGE ID: Digital Artwork of Kyne, a tan muscular woman with the wings of a hawk and hair like a thunderstorm with two braids behind her ear. Her face is determined and she is holding a bolt of lightning, angled upwards to the right. A storm surrounds her, and lightning forms a halo behind her head. END ID

Akatosh: I've made a Dragonborn.
Kynareth: You've ruined a perfectly good mortal, is what you've done. Look at them. They've got anxiety

Not sure how deep you go with the lore but I've got a bit of a far fetched theory for you.
Hircine is the son of Shor and Kyne.
He was one of the last spirits to appear as far as we are aware.
He shares similarities to Morihaus as they are both powerful manbeasts.
Many believe lorkhans body to be the moons and the moons are quite important to hircine with both full moons and werewolves as well as the bloodmoon.
Lorkhan is said to help men and Hircine is actually worshipped by one of the last religions of man on tamriel that has not been corrupted by elves: The Reachmen.
On top of this it is Hircine who is communed with during the briarheart ritual which is thought to symbolise Lorkh's sacrifice to create nirn.
Kyne and Hircine clearly have some sphere overlap.
Both have associations with the doom drums as Lorkhans name apparently means doomdrum and hircines aspect 'Uricanbeg' is said that his hooves beat the doom drum.
Sorry if lore isn't your thing, I just thought it was a neat theory and you're the elder scrolls account I know has it's asks open to anons. Thank you!
I love learning new lore and hearing other's theories! I'm not the most knowledgable about lore as others may be, though. My knowledge is a mile wide and an inch deep as they say. But I really like your theory! It's not the craziest idea I've ever heard, so you have that going for you. I think it could be plausible, though only based on what you've told me, which really just means you're good at selling an arguement.
If anyone else would like to add to the lore conversation, feel free! I think this sounds pretty neat! ✨

"The Ring of the Wind is a legendary treasure of Elsweyr, sacred to Kynareth. It was owned by the nimble acrobat Kisimba Spring-Snow, who was said to always land on her feet, except when she chose to land on the feet of others."
