Hi hey hello if you thought I was done talking about Chip then surprise you're wrong it's still Chip time cause scene I can't stop thinking about The Third:

There is something so moving to me about Chip giving La Alma the coin. If anything that's my new favorite Chip moment. We've seen so much lying, pranks, and stealing from him, hell it's how he got the coin in the first place. This is the first time (to my memory) where he's giving something instead of taking it. And of all things, for it to be a magical coin like that, stolen from such a dangerous person I mean did he even think about how valuable that coin might be?

Probably. He's still Chip after all. But he gives it to La Alma anyway.

And the line, oh my the line. Making your own luck. It's a good sort of feeling for Chip it falls in line with what sort of vibe I get from him, while also just slotting perfectly into the situation, from the rigging of the tournament to the actual effect of the coin. Of all the moments in this show this one isn't nearly so dramatic as many others but man if it won't still live in my mind forever.
