You may be wondering why I placed Wick in the ALL CAPS TEXT MESSAGES category. I decided that he probably is one of those guys that is pretty young but completely unironically texts as a grandpa would.

It's really more like I suddenly have less eyestrain while reading and doing handicrafts, and now I've got some sharp magnification for those things, and oncoming headlights no longer show me the sixth dimension when I'm driving at night. This is kind of an exaggeration for me. Still, the professional assurance that some farsighted vision modification has indeed occurred to your eyeballs in the last 20+ years can be a little jarring when you were *convinced* that you were just nuts and "seeing things" when you thought you might be developing symptoms of astigmatism. 🥸
