You ever think about what gym classes at Brooklyn Academy of the Gifted are like? Because I’m just imagining them playing dodgeball or something and it coming down to the 21st nome kids plus Drew and Lacy who turn out to be far more athletic than everyone thought. All of their other classmates are just sitting on the sidelines after getting out and trying to figure out what the hell kind of group/foster home Sadie & co. are from, and what the hell kind of summer camp Drew and Lacy go to

So Sadie and Lacy are friends, right? Right. And Percy and Annabeth know the Kanes are magicians and vice versa, right? Right.

I'm thinking either Percabeth find out that Lacy knows the Kanes and tell her that they're also involved with the supernatural, or Lacy overhears them talking about it, or something along those lines, and Lacy goes: "Cool. Cool cool cool cool cool. I guess there really was something weird about that school dance. Cool cool cool. ... Drew? Wanna do some sister bonding and go mess with them a bit?"

This is during Drew's healing/redemption arc, when she's down to do just about anything for her siblings to regain their favour. Though, admittedly, she doesn't need much prompting; her redemption is about her figuring out and respecting other people's boundaries, not completely removing her bitchiness, and she enjoys fighting Sadie.

So they go meet up with Sadie and Carter in like. A park or something. Lacy doesn't warn them about Drew. They are very much caught off guard, but neither demigod acknowledges the change in dynamic or the magicians' questions. Instead, they start pulling Weird Demigod Shit™ like:

Speaking in Ancient Greek

Playing with knives (daggers?) that seem to disappear between moments (either Mist manipulation or they have transforming weapons)

Mentioning their camp activities; y'know, arts and crafts, campfire songs, capture the flag, lava walls, archery, chariot racing, kayaking...

Badly describing monsters they've encountered without ever naming them

Charmspeaking the siblings into doing dumb (but harmless) things

Talking about the beyond-human feats they've accomplished

Discussing anything pertaining to their home/family lives, including that, surprise surprise, Lacy and Drew are siblings, and have even more!

If they're feeling comfortable enough, mentioning literally anything about the Second Titan or Giant Wars, like the automatons or what things they witnessed getting destroyed

Etc etc

Yes, Sadie and Carter are aware of Greek demigods, but it's probably something in the back of their minds, and something they know very little about, so they're. Very baffled and concerned, because they thought these two were normal! They thought they had a normal friend in Lacy, why is everything she's saying so concerning! And why is Drew agreeing with everything!

But they catch on eventually, obviously, and it's. Yeah, they find it a little wild, not just that these two specifically are demigods, but also that they'd encountered Greeks before the whole Ptolemy thing. But it's also pretty cool, to know more people from that side, and ones that aren't currently away for university, even if it'll take a bit for them to settle with Drew. They share their own experiences and magic system in a way they couldn't really do with Percabeth, since they were kind of in a crisis almost every time they met up. It's neat. Lacy and Drew get invited to the Brooklyn House for some magic showcasing, and maybe some sparring. They start bringing their other siblings along later on. They absolutely adore having a place to go outside of Camp, even if it means Drew has to deal with Sadie.

ok so I have not finished Lost Hero (Heroes of Olympus) nor have I finished Throne of Fire (Kane Chronicles), but I have heard that Drew and Lacy apparently go to Sadie Kane’s school in the third Kane Chronicles book. Thus I bring this headcanon(that I may make canon to my tanakamura twins au but we’ll see):

According to Drew, Lacy was never known for her rule following. Lacy dared to disagree. She was always on time to class and she was one of the only non-Athena campers who get As in school. Lacy didn’t understand why Drew thought she was a menace, so her best friend Sadie didn’t know either. But they were about to find out. “Hey Sadie!” Lacy said as she got to the lunch table her friend sat at. “Oh, hey Lacy. How was your day?” The girls chatted for a bit, when Lacy noticed something in her friend’s lunch. “Are those macarons?” Lacy asked with wide eyes. “Hm? Oh yeah. Do you want one?” Sadie asked and offered a cookie. Lacy was about to grab the treat from her friend’s hand when all of a sudden it was slapped from the girl’s hand. “What the hell!?” Sadie exclaimed as she turned to the offender, Drew Tanakamura, who was leaning over the table, supported by her arms. Sadie began scolding the older girl, but she had her eyes locked on Lacy. “You idiot. You know you can’t have macarons!” She exclaimed, standing up and pinching the bridge of her nose. “I swear, your dad will kill me,” she muttered, “Piper will kill me!” She said a bit louder. Sadie blanched at her. When Drew noticed her confusion, rage blazed higher in her eyes. “Lacy, my dear sweet Lacy. Did you not tell Sadie about your nut allergy?” She asked through grit teeth, fingers still pinching the bridge of her nose. “Umm… no?” Lacy said, embarrassed. Drew put her hands on her hips and glared at the girl. “I won’t tell your father this time, but I will be letting Piper and Mr. D know.” Lacy’s eyes widened at that. “D-do you really need to tell Piper and Mr. D?” She asked. “Yes, I do. You know I can’t give you the shirt of shame without Piper signing off, and Mr. D has a tally going of campers being idiots.” Drew replied. “I’m sorry, who are Piper and Mr. D? What is the shirt of shame? Why does this Mr. D have a tally going?” Sadie asked. Drew turned to the girl. “As you know, Lacy and I go to camp together. Piper and I are co-head councilors of our cabin. We have a shirt of shame for people who stupidly put themselves in danger, but we both have to agree on that. Mr. D is the camp director, and he has a bet going with the activities director on which cabin does the most stupid stuff.” When Drew finished her explanation, she turned back to Lacy. “I will make you a deal: if you avoid doing any more super stupid things until we are back at camp, I will retract my vote for you to have the shirt of shame, and I will ask Chiron if we can do a fashion show. How about that?” Lacy seemed to think the offer over before extending her hand. “Deal.” the girls shake hands, and Drew walks off. “what the hell just happened?” Walt asks as he sits down at the girls’s table. Sadie shrugged and Lacy gave a sly smile. “Nothing you need to worry about.” The young girl said.

honestly i've been thinking about it and. yeah lacy is there coz she's a dancer. drew loves acting. and tbh i just need sadie to be in most classes with drew so. yeah she does acting also. this is now canon 👍

alright so another thing I noticed with Drew and Lacy going to school with Sadie: it’s a fine arts school. Sadie mentions how you have to have artistic talent to go to the school, so what are Drew and Lacy into? Does Drew use charmspeak to sing and have everyone listen? Or is Drew an actor that makes people feel emotion? Is artist!Lacy a thing? or does Lacy have a love for the violin? what do they do?

sadie headcanons

i’m tired so i might actually proofread this so it’s legible😧 anyways enjoy some sadie headcanons bc im rereading tkc

she has a simple off white room but she hangs up a bunch of posters and little decoratives/memorabilia so it’s full of life

she’s 14 and carter’s 16 during TRP but in march she turns 15 and in may/june carter turns 17

she claims to hate children but says the ankle-biters are an exception

since she’s in high school at BAG, she is allowed to take 2 gifted courses

she chooses technical theatre and language arts/literary writings (i don’t think that’s a course but shut up)

she chose la/lw because she loves poetry

she has a stack of poetry books in her room

she understands how powerful words can be and enjoys reading people’s views against social inequalities through poetry or writing

she hates when there are online assignments, especially in language arts or literature

she feels that in order for an essay or a poem to truly hold power, that have to come from pencil or ink and onto paper

she chose technical theatre because she loves theatre but can neither act, dance, nor sing

her favorite thing to do is write plays with long monologues

she feels that the watchers need a glimpse into the character’s life in order to truly understand the play

these are the only two subjects she’s TRULY passionate about

sometimes she tests the dress code limits by wearing extremely bold eyeliner or platform shoes (idk dress code bc i had a uniformed school)

on other days she’ll go to school with just sweatpants, a crop top, and a jean jacket because she’s tired

and when she’s really happy she’ll wear skirts and headbands

but in all styles she gives off a ‘i’m a bad bitch and don’t give a fuck about you unless you’re my friend or friendly’ vibe

she’s not necessarily popular but everyone knows her and a bunch of people like her

okay so she basically is popular, she just doesn’t voluntarily accept the spotlight

she goes out for pizza with lacy sometimes, especially after the crossover event

that’s it! most of these had to do with sadie at school but that’s all i could come up with tbh. i wish there was a bit more BAG in the books but i guess i just have to deal and make amazing headcanons instead🥱
