Okay, so I don’t read much fic, because I’m horrible at time management and sitting my ass down to focus, but @morethanfaqs is killing it with feels for a ship I never thought I’d want?

But for real, once you get past the fact that spoilers Alex dies (AHEM still not over this, but cannot let go this fic) they’ve built up the dynamic of Kara and Maggie healing (and not in equal measure) in a beautiful dance of these two idiots falling together. 

Apparently there are only two more planned chapters. 

It’s gonna kill me with feels, and ya’ll should check it out

"Yeah?"

"Would... would it be okay if I stayed? I'll sleep on the couch."

Kara doesn't hesitate. "Yes."

"Okay."

Alex is gone, and Kara and Maggie are left behind.

"Okay."

They both fall asleep on the couch, curled around each other, huddled for warmth and a semblance of peace.

It's the first sleep either of them have gotten... since.
