I got to be in my happy place recently. Well, around the bend from my true happy place.
Genuinely wish I’d brought my bathing suit, the water was bath warm for a cool day. The best kind of day for a Muskoka swim. But since we went there and back in one day, I wasn’t feeling like being damp for 4.5 hours on the return trip.
I asked my brother to take a few shots. I had several poses. He took shots of none of the ones I wanted. Which is fine.
I’m looking forward to seeing the progress as it’s made and how these back to back workouts will impact the general silhouette. (1000+ cals burnt today 💪🏻)
I wish I could visit more often. I wish the cottage was still there. Much like I wish we were visiting my uncle and not simply his memorial.
I’ve whispered many a wish, a dream, a secret to the waters of Lake Muskoka. That day, the light glimmered and the waters sparkled. There’s magic in those waters. And I’ll forever call it mine.
