I cant help but think of the Mapenduma Hostage Crisis, when West Papuan resistence fighters took 26 hostages so they could get national attention on the massacres and landstealing against them and negotiate for their independence. They were negotiating with the Red Cross for the hostage releases when British and Indonesian special forces used a Red Cross helicopter as a trojan horse to gun down the villagers that came to welcome the Red Cross negotiators.

The actions taken by special forces that day is why negotiations can no longer be trusted, NGOs can no longer be trusted, and why right now a new zealander pilot has been held hostage now by West Papuan resistence fighters for over a year with no plans for release.

Disguising your soldiers as red cross negotiators to gun down a village.

Building a pier supposedly for humanitarian aid and then using it to hide soldiers in aid trucks to massacre 160+ people in a refugee camp.

Free West Papua. Free Palestine.

Should have seen it coming

Just went out to get some wood since we’re using a furnace and I see one of our neighbours pruning, in freaking February, he also cut the branches of our trees exactly in a wrong place and exactly where the border between our lawns go as if he’s trimming a hedge. He painted a stone before winter started so we know that our hedge consisting of  common lilac is near the border. Yeah, we know, we won’t do what you did to us, chill..
