Exodus cry sent an email about a new YouTube show against porn. It's called beyond fantasy by magic lanternpictures. They warn about the type of abuse that was going to be shown but I could barely make it past the half way mark. It's been around 2 years since I stopped watching porn and that new documentary was extremely trigginng for many obvious reasons. It both sickens me to see how children are so profusely sexualized and how I was numbed into normalizing similar videos. Seeing the faces of those who actively and excitedly promote "barely legal" (child porn) content makes my blood boil. They should be in prison. I hate this corruption.

Anyway, I'm not finishing that documentary. This blog has already helped me so much along my anti-porn journey and I greatly appreciate it. I look forward to more changes for a better future around the world.

Yeah that’s the problem with this particular type of activism is it’s so fucking heartbreaking and triggering and sickening. I try to encourage people to take care of themselves but sometimes it’s too hopeless. Self care feels so trivial when faced with porn culture.

I’ll check out the documentary though. Even if it’s heartbreaking, it needs to be shared. Because it’s the reality and if we all pretend it doesn’t exist, people will still suffer.

Proud of you for escaping addiction though <3 that’s the biggest step is ending the demand for porn!
