my mania rug is done! she took just under two days and i had to do the wave strand by strand to get it to look close to the album cover. more photos below <3

i used about six different shades of purple and three blues, as well as white and black. two of the purples were Very similar to the point that i was getting them confused while using them, but i'm super happy to see the different colors translate on the left and right of the wave. its subtle but its there 😭 here's what it looks like from behind and the reference photo i used. i didn't include the lettering because it is Hard to do letters in this medium lmfao

Hello knitters, cross-stitchers, embroiderers, and any other textile artists who see this!

Does anyone know of anywhere online that offers the ability for folks to meet up virtually with each other? I'm looking for an online version of like a sewing guild. It would be nice to meet people and share WIPs and tips and tricks, but also build relationships. I'm not talking about forums or FB groups (there are plenty of FB groups and god i hate FB) - I'm looking for something more real time like discord or some kind of video chat.

If you know of something that already exists, definitely let me know. If you don't know of anything...does this sound like something you would be interested in if I can find the motivation to start something?

franklin is done 🐑✨ i was worried he wouldn’t look right but im pretty happy with him 💕

he took about a week and a half to finish and i used this guide i made, but i couldn’t follow it exactly. a lot of his body, the closet door to his right and the bed/book stack on his right were me going back and forth between my reference photo and the guide. he measured in about 22 in x 14 in or so. i can't wait to hang him up with the folie bears <3

Been finishing up projects in the New Year! Finished my glow-in-the-dark Hardly Harness I started in August, a latch hook pillow (started Christmas of 2019 or 2020) and am keeping a list of WIPs so they don’t get lost in the cracks. And here is a briefbag I made using vintage automotive vinyl!
