I’m gonna have to disagree: I think the show was a lot better than the first book, or first 2, because they’re the ones I’ve read. Matthew is supposed to be so hot and irresistible, but he’s just a possessive jerk. I don’t understand why being possessive and and domineering is supposed to be sexy. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

ah... see this is what i was nervous about i’ve heard similar things from other people who don’t like the books and i’d rather not get invested in that when the show clearly shows a better dynamic to the main relationship (as well as allowing for side characters to shine) so i’m back to my original D: feelings over reading the books

With the season 2 premiere of #americangods tonight and since I live in #wisconsin I thought I would share a few photos I’ve taken at #thehouseontherock over the years. I remember being excited reading American Gods the first time because I had been there and it has always been a strange and magical place for me. It’s hard to capture the wonder of this place in photos, you really have to visit there to experience it.
