Online Class Recording
"Classifyr" is an educational platform primarily focused on assessments, learning management systems (LMS), and reporting tools for schools and districts. While online class recording is a valuable feature in many e-learning environments, Classifyr's core offerings do not explicitly highlight or emphasize direct integration with live online class recording functionality.
Instead, Classifyr focuses on:
Assessment creation and Delivery
Learning Management
Data Reporting & Diagnostic
While recorded lectures are highly beneficial for students (convenience, review, improved comprehension), Classifyr appears to concentrate more on the structured delivery of content, assessments, and data analytics rather than the real-time capture and management of live virtual classroom sessions.

Thank you for your thoughts on Xie Lian and low self -esteem/self -harm tendencies. My question kinda piggybacks of that.
In the novel, Hua Cheng has concerns about Xie Lian's pain and willingness to withstand it or ignore it in favor of getting a solution.
Land of Tender was pretty extreme and I think Xie Lian genuinely considered not having any other option before doing what he did.
But there's the time when Xie Lian planned to jump in the pit to help those thrown in and brushed aside his own potential injury from such a fall. (But was naturally worried when Hua Cheng jumped instead)
And also the time Xie Lian took a blow from eming to stop the fight between Hua Cheng and Lan Qingqui(sp?).
And withstanding the needle in his foot and forgetting about it until Hua Cheng took it out.
Or being willing to swallow a sword to capture the fetus spirit.
Or in the Mt. Tonglu arc, where he picks up something that has poison on it. He's had it happen so often, it didn't bother him.
I can see this is not Xie Lian self-harminhg,  but it does seem like a low amount of concern for his pain/safety.
He even makes a promise to Hua Cheng (they promise each other) not to touch anything weird/dangerous without telling the other first so the other can handle it.
And when Hua Cheng took a hit from Xie Lian (who had to obey because he was wearing the brocade immortal) - Xie Lian took issue with that and Hua Cheng called him out on that.
----
"Xie Lian hadn’t expected him to ask that. “Maybe…it was to remind myself of some things.” He then quickly said, “San Lang, don’t…don’t change the subject. What kind of bad habits have you developed? That situation just now—you could have just restrained me. Why did you stand there and take the blow?”
“So you do know that it’s a bad habit, gege?” Hua Cheng replied. “You have no right to lecture me when it comes to taking beatings, you know.”
“Oh, really?” Xie Lian said, but he felt guilty the moment the words left his mouth—after all, he’d almost swallowed a sword back when he fought the fetus spirit in the water, and Hua Cheng had caught him red-handed.
“Yes, really. ‘Why use other methods if I can solve the problem by taking a beating?’ That’s your bad influence on me,” Hua Cheng replied.
Xie Lian waved him off. “Never mind, San Lang, let’s not talk about this anymore. Let’s look at these robes.” "
TGCF volume 7, chapter 117, page 200
-------
From all this, would it be accurate to say Xie Lian has low regard for his pain/safety if it means finding a solution to a problem...and potentially even going for that route faster/ or finding that easier before thoroughly considering other options?
Or is perhaps Hua Cheng being too overprotective?
Or is it secret option number three? 😅
I leaned towards the first thought. It seemed that Xie Lian maybe stopped concerning himself about his own pain until he realized someone else cared about him very much and so he decided to be more careful.
Again, not saying Xie Lian is reckless. Or that he wouldn't tend to his own injuries. Just that perhaps he was setring aside his own pain/potential injury in favor of getting a quick solution.
I hope I explained that well. Thank you for your thoughts! 👍🏾
Idk how long this is gonna be, so I will start off by saying that Xie Lian's actions exist in line with two realities: 1) he has built up an extremely high pain tolerance from just living life for 800 years and experiencing The Horrors against his will. I do not think that having a high pain tolerance and therefore being alright with experiencing injury because the pain means nothing to you is the same as having a low regard for your pain or safety at all. Xie Lian does not seek out situations to harm him, and he doesn't disregard his safety in situations he puts himself in (emphasizing the "he" because there are a lot of situations he is forced into, where him experiencing The Horrors is the point and thus unavoidable). 2) He literally cannot die (also as part of experiencing The Horrors, but he's learned to weaponize it to his advantage). So let's get into these examples:
Land of the Tender: he was drugged and vulnerable with the only thing between him and potential death was a barrier and a child. He quite literally had no options that weren't "assault/kill Hong'er" or "lose your cultivation and get you and Hong'er killed." He stabs himself to relieve the poison and maintain a semblance of mental clarity because the only other cure to the drug outside of sexual intercourse was physical violence. The moment Mu Qing and Feng Xin show up to help, he stops stabbing himself.
Banyue Arc: He is the god who was sent to clean up the mess, he was going to have to go down there eventually anyways. There is no "injury from the fall" (unless due to his own bad luck, but it doesn't happen in when he actually goes down, so...) because he is a god who jumps up and down these heights all the time. This the same dude who has to jump down from the heavens to do work. Why should he have allowed San-lang or, god forbid, an actual human to go down there first in his stead when 1) he knows he can handle the task but has no evidence that they can and 2) he knows that even if he can't somehow handle it, there's still Mu Qing and Feng Xin and he, himself, cannot die?
Fight between Hua Cheng and Lang Qianqiu: Xie Lian had tried to stealth and de-escelate, but Lang Qianqiu was the one who charged forward in reckless anger. Xie Lian, seeing that Hua Cheng's blow would kill him if it connected, absorbed the blow, instead, because he knew he could, only injuring an arm. Was Xie Lian supposed to let his former student die in front of him just because to save his life would injure him in a way that he would heal from fairly quickly?
The needle and the fetus spirit: I analyze the needle scene here (and will return to this analysis at the end), actually, but as for him doing whatever it took to capture the fetus spirit, once again, this was a matter of life or death, and Xie Lian had a choice between temporary pain or sacrificing someone else's life so that he wouldn't be injured. What kind of cultivator would he be, exactly, to let civilians die for his comfort? A cultivator who was asked to save lives, mind you. He could have chosen to avoid the needle and let the fetus spirit escape to kill again, but he didn't.
Now, I'll give you another example of Xie Lian choosing "pain": during the Birthday extra, Xie Lian is experiencing pain so badly that it makes him blackout. He hides it because celebrating Hua Cheng's birthday with him for the first time is more important. After it's discovered, Mu Qing and Feng Xin realize that the pain seems to be worse around Hua Cheng and theorize that putting some distance between the two would give Xie Lian reprieve enough to figure out what's going on. Hua Cheng leaves immediately, no questions asked, because his priority is Xie Lian's wellbeing. Xie Lian, on the other hand, panics, because while physical pain is something Hua Cheng cannot tolerate him experiencing even if Xie Lian can handle it, the emotional pain Xie Lian derives from feeling abandoned is something he cannot handle. He immediately sends himself back to his husband's side. While Xie Lian can tolerate pain, he only tolerates what he wants to and never seeks out pain for himself.
As for Hua Cheng, a loved one being upset at your experiencing of pain for whatever reason is not evidence of self-harming tendencies or a lack of self-care on your part. The thing about Hua Cheng's responses to Xie Lian allowing himself to be injured/pushing into danger is that Hua Cheng knows Xie Lian's history. He was there for the land of tender and saw Xie Lian mutilate himself to keep him safe. He was there in the temple when Xie Lian was mutilated against his will for the sake of others. He was there when Xie Lian was utterly abandoned by everyone he knew and loved and acting out in self-destructive ways. All of Xie Lian's worst moments, he's experienced, and his whole goal of amassing power was to be able to protect his beloved. Even when he wasn't there, he was collecting information and stories on his whereabouts and experiences. But Xie Lian doesn't know this when they first meet.
Xie Lian has spent 800 years as a lone wanderer with no long-term companions and no one who even knew of his existence. He could only rely on himself from his early 20s on. Not even his friends were dependable, and that is the mentality that Xie Lian has at the start of the story. "I cannot ask others to do right because they are unreliable, so I will do it, myself, without asking." Hua Cheng is upset at this mentality not because he believes that there is something wrong about Xie Lian but because he knows that this belief has sprung from the truth that Xie Lian really didn't have someone to depend on, and even though Hua Cheng's 's back again and ready to be that someone, the fact that Xie Lian is still risking himself instinctively without even considering that Hua Cheng can help him means that he has not proven to his beloved that he is dependable and is here to stay.
So for your conjecture, it's not that Hua Cheng is being overprotective, but he wants Xie Lian to see him as the pillar of support that he is and realize that he no longer has to fight anything alone. And it's not that Xie Lian stopped caring about his own hurts until someone else started caring for him, it's that he hasn't had the luxury to care and tend to his own hurts, because no one was gonna do the things that needed to be done while he took a rest. Others may have had him, but he only had himself. Until Hua Cheng, of course.

26 for the ask game (╹◡╹)
26. Forgotten hero everyone should know about
This could have been a perfect occasion to talk about Claude-Antoine Prieur again, but given that I plan to devote him many future posts on my blog, I thought it would have been more appropriate to use this ask to share my knowledge about an important and unfortunately still rather unknown STEM personality, who truly inspired me when I was a young student. I'm referring to Sophie Germain.
Tumblr media
Born in Paris in 1776, Sophie was one of the rare mathematiciennes of the 18th-19th century. She had her first approach with mathematics during the days of the storming of the Bastille, when it was too dangerous for a young 13 years old girl to go outside. To pass the time, she turned to her father's library and a book named "Histoire des mathématiques" by Jean-Étienne Montucla captured her interest. The story of Archimedes narrated in the book fascinated her deeply, eventually leading her to start studying mathematics on her own through the works by famous mathematicians like Euler, Newton, Cousin. Her interest and dedication to the discipline was so strong, that during winter, when her parents denied her warm clothes and a fire in her bedroom to prevent her from studying she kept doing it anyway despite the cold; at the time maths wasn't considered appropriate as a studying discipline for a woman.
When the Polytechnic school opened in 1794, women couldn't attend, but the policy of the school allowed to everyone, who asked for them, notes of the lectures. She requested them under the pseudonym of Antoine-Auguste Le Blanc, a former student who had dropped out. Given that, as a student of the Polytechnic school, one was expected to send written observations about the lectures - a sort of homework - Germain wrote and sent hers to Joseph-Louis Lagrange, one of the teachers and renowned mathematician. The latter was so positively impressed by her essays that requested a meeting with the brilliant student LeBlanc, who unexpectedly had improved so much. She was then forced to reveal her identity. Lagrange was pleasantly surprised to realize Monsieur Le Blanc was in reality a young and talented woman and decided to support her, becoming her mentor.
One of her most noteworthy contribution to mathematics was in number theory, where she proved a special case of the so-called Last Fermat's Theorem (1), which has remained one of the hardest mathematical theorems to prove for more than three centuries and whose final proof was actually found only in 1994 by Andrew Wiles. Other important works of hers include treatises on elastic surfaces, one of which, Recherches sur la théorie des surfaces élastiques, awarded her a prize from the Paris Academy of Science in 1816.
Although she often faced prejudice for being a woman, Germain was praised and also supported by various well-known mathematicians of the time. Some of them include the aforementioned Lagrange, Legendre, who thanks to her work on the Fermat's theorem, was able to prove it for another special case; Cousin himself, Fourier, who managed to grant her the permission to follow the sittings held at the Paris Academy of science and last, but obviously not least, the great Gauss, who after Germain's death advocated for giving her an honorary degree in mathematics.
Notes
(1) In short, the Last Fermat's Theorem asserts that for n > 2 there are no integer solutions to the following equation:
Tumblr media
with a, b, c being positive integers. Sophie Germain proved the theorem for all numbers n equal to a prime p, so that 2p + 1 is also prime. The whole thing is much more complex that how I explained it, my aim was to write down a simple intoduction. If you want to read more about that I recommend you this link.

energy of harry it's a mini reading no time here: a lot of love fight with meghan. Still with money problems, there is an activity that is starting to be financially interesting for him. A lot of anxiety (I don't feel any energy for his father Charles 3) There is a creation of a new bond with a person or a project which is very promising!
meghan markle energy: she likes everything that's happening, because it's free publicity but even if she's not solicited. She observes what happens to Charles, if she can rush into the royal family. There is a communications plan to attack the BRF, use this fragile moment to make them believe certain things! There are still money problems throughout the winter. She explores other solutions to make you financially victorious. She hopes a lot from this fragile situation to come back and capture the financial abundance of the BRF and be stronger than them

Ancient Myths Retold Masterlist
AtMotS Playlist
Summary: An irksome trip to the Summer Court on matters of business and assistance against a threat at sea takes an interesting turn when Rhys discovers the solution to Nostrus' problem no longer lies with his army, but a female sacrifice, bound at high tide in hope of appeasing the beast terrorizing Nostrus' shores. He certainly never predicted the rescue mission would result in an accepted mating bond.
AN: Merry Christmas! Here’s chapter 2 of my @acotargiftexchange fic for @eat0crow 🎄🎄🎄
Chapter II: New Beginnings
Feyre
Feyre had always considered herself clever enough. Not the most brilliant around, but smart enough to piece together when she was facing royalty. She was going to blame the chaos of her capture for her slow processing. Rhys was Rhysand, heir-apparent to the Night Court throne. Someone she was meant to stay far far away from if the stories she'd heard over the years were anything to go by. Yet if she ignored them all for a moment, it was easy enough to dismiss them as nothing more than rumors to frighten children.
From the very second they returned to his modest home in Velaris, a shining and busy city she'd somehow never heard of, he had been nothing but gentle with her. Overbearing one might even say, fussing over the smallest injuries inflicted when she had been caught by Nostrus' second-in-command. But then, males were known to act very differently with their mates, weren't they? How long would it take for the power of the fresh bond to fade?
She startled when he lifted her chin. "I hate that look." She furrowed her brows. "I don't need to read your mind to know you're questioning your safety here. If I will harm you, despite our bond. There is a mask we wear, Feyre, to protect our people." Uncurling his fingers, he slid his hand across her jaw, reaching to cup the back of her neck. "If there is one thing you always keep faith in, let it be that this bond is sacred to me. I'd sooner slit my own throat than lay a hand on you in anger or malice. Understand?"
She nodded and he let go, his fingers trailing her jaw as he released her. The spell was broken by a soft rapping on the bedroom door. He rolled his eyes, begrudgingly calling for whoever was on the other side to come in. Seconds later a female of great resemblance to Rhys stormed through the door. The eyes and coloring they shared easily marked her as his mother, though Feyre was thrown by the wings the female possessed. She was another Illyrian, yet Rhys’ lack of wings and clearly pointed ears put them apart.
She was distracted from the puzzling relation when the new arrival began lecturing her mate. "Rhysand, what were you thinking? Your father sent you in his place because he thought you'd keep your head and—"
"Mother, may I request you wait to berate me until my mate isn't present to hear it?"
"Your... what?"
His lips curled into a soft smile at the pure glee in her voice, stepping away just far enough to reveal Feyre's position on the edge of the bed. "My mate, Feyre. Feyre, this is my mother, Victorie."
The female gasped, her violet eyes bright as she took in Feyre. "I, uh, haven't cleaned up yet," Feyre said with a blush. If this female was anything like her own mother, her current state, smelling and soaked to the skin, was unacceptable.
"Oh, who cares about that? You are gorgeous. We'll be talking over breakfast in the morning. I want to know everything about my future daughter-in-law."
Feyre was too stunned to respond. Never once had her own mother seemed so eager to discuss anything with her, let alone her hobbies and interests. "I'd like that," she finally managed, almost whispering.
"Nostrus requested the meeting because she escaped," Rhys cut in, either recognizing her discomfort or just wanting to get rid of his mother for the evening a little faster. "Rather than still voicing his concern about the water serpent when he heard she was caught... There's something to be said for his pride, I suppose. Luckily for him, the creature is dead." His attention snapped back to Feyre. "The wraiths that helped us, they were indebted to you. Why?"
"I met my fiance a few months ago. The visit overlapped with the Tithe. He had given me a necklace and earrings. When the wraith speaking for her sisters couldn't offer anything, I gave her my jewelry."
"The Tithe?" She watched as realization dawned. "You're Tamlin's betrothed?"
"Drama," a light female voice sang from the hall.
"Avyanna, isn't it past your bedtime," Rhys drawled, earning an offended screech from another winged female, this one in her teens, it seemed. "Tamlin is a friend of mine," he explained to Feyre. "He knows what mating bonds mean and he'll respect ours."
"Will he?" the girl in the doorway chirped. "Rumor has it, he's already head over heels for her. You and your friend may be facing a falling out here soon, and over a female of all things. But we'll just let them worry about that. Hi, I'm Avyanna, but you can call me Avy. We're going to be the best of friends, I know it already." Rhys cleared his throat softly. "Right, sorry. You probably like to get a bath and some rest. We'll see you in the morning." She beamed. "Goodnight!"
"Forgive them, Feyre. They're romantics above all else."
She smiled. "It's sweet. My parents and sisters... We've never had that." He stroked her hair back. "Sorry. You don't want to hear about that."
"Hey." Again, he gripped her chin to keep their eyes locked. "I want to know everything about you. The good, the bad, and everything in between. Nothing you could say will scare me away, Feyre. I promise."
Summoning a set of clothes, light and comfortable enough to sleep in, he guided her to her feet and towards the bathroom. "Go ahead and get cleaned up. Take your time. I can do the same elsewhere."
"This is your room," she said with a frown.
"My hope is that it will now be our room, but if you'd prefer a guest suite, that can be arranged as well." She shook her head. "Alright then. Get cleaned up. I'll be back in a bit."
~~~~~
Rhysand
The second he shut the door to his bedroom he slumped against the wall. He never thought the mating bond would be so overwhelming, yet here he was, struggling with any basic thought beyond what it would feel like to kiss her. "Fuck."
"Rhysand." He grimaced at his father's voice and the heavy steps that marked his angry pace. "I thought better of you than this. That you had matured enough to be diplomatic in a foreign court. Now tell me why there are two blood rubies on my desk."
"Diplomacy went out the window the moment Nostrus tried to kill my mate," he growled right back. "If anything, the bastard should thank me for handling his little problem for him." His father, eloquent as he may be, appeared to be struggling to find a reason to scold him. After all, he'd murdered every male involved in his own mate's attempted wing-clipping at the camps. There were morals among the fae, few as they may be; lines you simply didn't cross. "Is it normal, feeling this..."
"Need to protect, to claim the bond, earn her acceptance? Yes." His father straightened, his cold mask firmly back in place. "Go bathe and get that stench off of you. We'll resume this discussion tomorrow."
Rhys let him pretend the scent of blood and salt and sand was the issue between them, crossing the hall to use a guest suite bath, grateful his magic had already cleaned the worst of it off of him and Feyre both. He was too exhausted to deal with scrubbing at serpent guts and whatever else had been on him. All he wanted now was to sink into bed and wrap himself around his mate. It was terrifying, frankly, how deep he was in it already. They'd met less than two hours ago and she already felt like everything he imagined for his future. More. Certainly more precious than any other female he'd known intimately.
She'd be his reason for living. In truth, he didn't deserve her. Not when on the bad days the man in the mirror looked too much like his father. Not when he'd been groomed to turn into the thing he was watching destroy his mother's joy. Seeing Feyre may have been the first thing to truly make her smile in months. He strived to be better, and he would. Before his thoughts could stray to anything darker, he felt a little tug inside him. A pull on that new thread connecting him to Feyre, tentative and curious. He chuckled, tugging back before reaching for the soap beside him and finishing his bath. Taking his time to dress, he returned to his personal room, knocking softly.
"Come in."
He wished he could claim the first thing on his mind was something respectable, but taking her in, his only thought was how much the fashion of his court seemed to suit her. Granted, he'd yet to see her in any other court's clothing, beyond the ruined dress he'd found her in. "Night Court colors suit you. Feeling better now?"
"Yes. Though I feel like I could sleep for days."
His protective instincts rose again at her tone, the glaze in her eyes. "Nothing else was done to you before you were left at the rocks?"
"I'm fine, Rhys. It was just... frightening. If you and the wraiths hadn't been there, I'd be dead."
He gripped her hands, squeezing softly before pulling her over to sit on the bed beside him. "They won't cross our borders, Feyre. Cassian and I will be marked enemies in the Summer Court, but they have no reason to follow you here."
Perhaps not Summer. Rhys grimaced. "Please stop reading my mind," she whispered.
"I'm no longer doing so intentionally, Feyre. But your shields are abysmal and the bond will only act as an amplifier until you learn to keep that block in place."
She ignored his comment. "Even if Tamlin isn't a problem, his father is another issue entirely. Whatever deal he's struck with my parents... He isn't going to be so agreeable about honoring a barely developed bond."
He took a moment before responding, trying to navigate how to proceed with this conversation. "You are hesitant to accept our bond, yet you have no desire to go through with your engagement."
A heavy silence settled over them, as if she was being careful with her word choice. "All my life, I have been raised with the purpose of bringing wealth or other benefits to my family and court. My sisters too. Elain was the most beautiful and was wed to the Heir of Day almost twelve years ago. Autumn has their eye on Nesta. It took all of one meeting for me to be sold off to Spring, then a sacrifice of my own High Lord before the wedding could even be announced. And now I am here, and while I want to trust your words, I fear I'll be your father's puppet too. A pawn on his chess board."
The rest hung unspoken between them. If she and Rhys weren’t tied by fate’s threads she’d have said goodbye on Summer soil. Made an escape from it all before she considered marrying another royal. His birthright had never felt like such a curse. “You are no one’s puppet. Not mine, not my father’s, not Spring’s. You will never be a pawn again, Feyre. I swear it on my life.”
She sighed, seemingly comforted by his vow—or perhaps just too exhausted to do anything more than slide under the covers.
"Tell me about your family," he murmured, his fingers trailing down her spine as she curled against his chest. "Beyond the marriage business, I mean."
She shrugged. "My mother and father are too busy social climbing to be considered respectable parents. My sisters... We used to be close, but we weren't raised in a way that gave us the time or desire to bond naturally. I love them, but Nesta can be..."
She shook her head. "Elain was your typical middle sister, mediator at the best of times, hidden away at the worst. The favorite too," she said, trying to hide the bitter note in her voice. "Our father's and society's. You should have seen how quickly Vanserra began to favor her. Not that the fascination lasted long. He ran off to The Continent to fight just months after they had their child and hasn't been seen or heard from since.
“Ten years since he set sail and she hasn't heard a word. He's either dead or found another female to enjoy until Helion calls him home, I suppose. I can't say I'm all that surprised. Like I said, it was an arranged marriage. Elain never expected much better from him. Now she's stuck there dealing with those dreadful suitors."
He shook his head. "Two of my father's men were sent as suitors just a few weeks ago. We're natural allies, as solar courts, but with Lucian assumed dead the game is changing. My father is an opportunist, above all else. He wants a strong foothold in Helion's court. Even if Helion's power won't pass to whoever your sister chooses, she's already become beloved."
"Night would have the perfect spy. Clever. And horrible. I hate that her life has become a political game."
Rhys hummed. "She's holding strong, from what I've heard. Entertaining the suitors while dodging their advances." He paused, thinking for a moment. "You know, it wouldn't be terribly difficult to request a visit to Day. Helion and I have ties of our own and if I express you're missing your sister terribly, well, he adores her and would be interested to meet you."
She bolted up in bed, grinning wide. It was the first real smile she'd given him and it took his breath away. "You'd do that for me?"
Cupping her face, he smiled right back. "Feyre, darling, I'd do anything for you. Ask and it's yours."
Karadžić had been hiding disguised under the alias Dr. Dragan David Dabić (Драган Давид Дабић) offering his services as a doctor of alternative medicine under the company name of "Human Quantum Energy".[4] He was able to walk around freely and appear in public without being identified, he spent his days at the local kafana "Luda kuća" drinking slivovitz, singing folk poetry, and playing Gusle (in front of the pictures of Karadžić and Mladic on the walls of the cafe).[8] The website of Dabić's company at www.psy-help-energy.com was maintained by Zoran Pavlović of Pavlović Consulting, Belgrade. When interviewed by Belgrade's Blic newspaper, Pavlović stated that he had frequently met with Dabić, discussing alternative medicine, sports and sometimes politics, without the least suspicion of his true identity. He described Dabić as a friendly and eloquent individual towards whom he had felt sympathetic.[9] Dabić had published several articles in the Zdrav život ("Healthy Life") journal of alternative medicine since October 2007.[10] Introduced as a "spiritual explorer", he also gave lectures comparing meditation techniques practiced by Orthodox monks. On 23 May 2008, Dabić gave a talk at the "Third Festival of Healthy Life" (Treći Festival zdravog života) on the topic of "how to cherish one's own energies" (Kako negovati sopstvene energije).[11]
Karadžić evaded capture in May 2007 in Vienna, Austria, where he lived under another alias, Petar Glumac, posing as a Croatian distributor of herbal solutions and ointments. The Austrian police talked to him during a raid regarding an unrelated homicide case in the area where Karadžić lived, but failed to recognize his real identity.
Enhancing Soundscapes: The Importance of Auditorium Acoustics
Auditoriums are those vibrant places where a performance comes to life or public speaking is captured, all through a perfect blend between sound and architecture. But to get that perfect auditory experience into an auditorium, planning and implementation must be done very meticulously in it. It is with this understanding that sound quality in any auditorium is more than just a technical requirement; at Envirotech Systems Ltd, we consider it an integral part of the value-added experience for the audience. This blog speaks about all the niche characteristics of auditorium acoustics, its parts, and how proper design will help you convert your space into an auditory masterpiece.
What Are Auditorium Acoustics? It is define the science and principles of handling sound within a closed space so that it is clearly audible and evenly distributed along with the proper reverberation. It should acoustically create an atmosphere where each word and note occur perfectly for every place in the audience with respect to its location. Good acoustics depend on a blend of architecture, materials, and acoustic treatments.
Key Challenges in Auditorium Acoustics Designing an auditorium perfect in acoustics involves special problems:
Reverberation Time, or how long it resorted before conception: The reverberation is the consequence of continuing a sound after its source has ceased operation. High RT60, i.e. long reverberation times (in seconds), results in muddy sound. Conversely, it becomes excessively short and unnatural-dry.
Speech Intelligibility: Acoustic environments tend to muddle speech, making it reverberate and unclear. Speech must reach its audience loud and clear.
Even Distribution of Sound: Sometimes certain portions of a hall may suffer from high levels or lower levels of sound resulting from some regions of the audience having none at all.
Noise Isolation: External noise and internal vibration entering into the establishment can lead to an awkward level of sound within. Hence, isolation works that will create an environment that is serene become important for an auditorium.
Feedback and Echo: Bad design will raise an echo or form feedback loops and they create disturbances during speeches or performances.
Components of Effective Auditorium Acoustics To meet those needs, it will incorporate many elements, for example:
Acoustic Panels: Finest quality panels absorb excessive sound to bring down reverberation levels and improve clarity.
This ongoing conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and throughout the region has intensified – leading to widespread displacement and raising serious concerns about the humanitarian situation in North Kivu Province in particular.
On June 28 and 29, M23 rebels in the Eastern DRC captured the towns of Kanyabayonga and Kirumba, respectively.
Kirumba residents like Tsongo Augustin say more and more people have been forced out of the area, which had become home to many who already had been displaced by the conflict.
"Kirumba is gradually being deserted by the population, and therefore the humanitarian situation is very complicated. This area has welcomed many displaced families from Rutshuru, and now they are fleeing again," Augustin said.
Strategic importance of region
Kirumba is the largest settlement in the Lubero territory with a population of over 120,000.
Kanyabayonga meanwhile is home to more than 60,000 people, but tens of thousands of people had fled there in recent months, driven from their homes by the advance of the rebels.
The region considered to be a "strategic stronghold, which is meant to block the rebels' advance towards the country's Grand North region," said Professor Adolphe Agenonga Chober, a lecturer at the University of Kisangani, who is also an expert on armed movements.
Soaring humanitarian crisis — and frustration
The capture of Kanyabayonga and Kirumba has now triggered another bout of mass displacement, compounding an already dire humanitarian situation.
"The question we ask ourselves is where will all these displaced families go?" Augustin said.
Others feel disillusioned with those in leadership. Wema Kennedy, a resident of Kirumba, complained that the community is "not seeing the government doing anything to take control of the territories captured by M23."
"Bunagana for instance has been under M23 for about two years now, and many are scared that it will not be easy for the government to retake control of Kirumba. We have the impression that M23, which started as a minor group, is today overpowering everything, and because of this, people are frustrated," she told DW.
A recent attack on a convoy in North Kivu province further exacerbated the security situation and humanitarian crisis in the area — and beyond. Two South African soldiers were kiled in such recents attack, and two members of aid staff are still missing.
The UK-based international Christian relief and development organization Tearfund said in a statement that is condemned the attack on humanitarian workers "who are working tirelessly to serve the people of the DRC."
"We urge all parties to respect and protect aid workers, ensuring their safety as they carry out their vital mission," Tearfund said.
Silence from the international community
The international community and the African Union meanwhile have remained largely silent on these latest developments amid escalating tensions. Professor Agenonga attributes this to a divergence of interests and approaches.
"The international community and the African Union are advocating for dialogue between the parties involved in this conflict — an approach rejected by the government in Kinshasa," Agenonga told DW, adding that "this also does not seem to be doing enough to change the situation and stop the M23 from advancing." The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has reiterated the severity of the humanitarian crisis in the DRC. Eric Batonon, country director of the NRC for Congo, said that action had to be taken urgently.
"It is really important that the international community and all world leaders come together to try to find a solution to these conflicts, and allow millions of women and children to return home and safeguard a safe future for them," Batonon said.
Accusations against Congo's military
The Congolese army's performance, meanwhile, has also come under scrutiny, with accusations of passivity amid escalating attacks and ineffective command structures.
Augustin Muhesi, a political science professor in eastern DRC, underscored the need to reassess the army's strategy:
"This could be related to the morale of soldiers. Many have been fighting for a long time without rest. I am among those who think that we should also consider replacing these soldiers," Muhesi told DW, citing coordination issues due to overlapping command structures in North Kivu as another factor.
Alleged squirmishes among army commanders are also frustrating locals and boiling over into violence. Youth in the town of Butembo have attacked army officers, accusing them of inaction.
"We believe there is a problem with the leadership hierarchy on the front line, and that is what angers the population," Mathe Saanane, president of a network of civil society groups in Butembo, told DW.
A president in crisis mode
In response to the M23's advances, Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi convened a Defense Council meeting and reassured the nation of his commitment to preserving the country's territorial integrity.
In his Independence Day address on June 30, Tshisekedi expressed his concern forthe affected populations.
"I cannot ignore the grave security situation shaking our country. To our brothers and sisters in Kanyabayonga and the surrounding regions, I want to express my deep solidarity and compassion in the face of the suffering you endure," he declared.
However, his words of affirmation may fall on deaf ears, as North Kivu province has now been racked by violence since 2021, when the M23 rebel group first resumed its armed campaign in the region.
Revolutionizing Training: The Power of Gamification in Learning and Development
In today’s fast-paced, digitally-driven world, traditional training methods are rapidly giving way to more engaging and interactive approaches. One of the most impactful trends reshaping the corporate training landscape is gamification in learning and development. By integrating game-like elements into educational content, organizations are finding innovative ways to boost employee engagement, enhance knowledge retention, and improve overall learning outcomes. At SB Animation, we help companies harness the power of gamification to transform training into a more dynamic and rewarding experience.
 What is Gamification in Learning and Development?
Gamification involves applying game mechanics—such as points, levels, badges, challenges, and leaderboards—to non-game environments. In the context of learning and development, these mechanics are embedded into training programs to make learning more engaging and motivating. Whether through interactive modules, scenario-based simulations, or animated assessments, gamification taps into the natural human desire for achievement, competition, and progress.
 Boosting Engagement and Motivation
One of the biggest challenges in corporate training is keeping learners engaged. Traditional methods such as lectures, static slide decks, or lengthy manuals often fail to capture attention, leading to poor retention and minimal impact. Gamification in learning and development changes this by making the process more enjoyable and interactive. When employees are presented with challenges, rewards, and instant feedback, they become more invested in the learning journey.
Tumblr media
At SB Animation, we incorporate compelling narratives, character-driven scenarios, and animated game elements that draw learners in and maintain their interest. This active participation leads to a deeper understanding of the content and fosters a more positive attitude toward training.
 Encouraging Continuous Learning
Gamification doesn’t just make learning fun—it also encourages consistency and progression. Learners are more likely to return to training modules when they can see measurable progress, unlock achievements, or compete on leaderboards. This kind of positive reinforcement supports continuous learning and helps organizations build a culture of development.
Through customized gamified solutions, SB Animation enables companies to create learning paths that evolve with employee performance. As users complete each level or challenge, the system adapts to provide more advanced content, helping individuals grow at their own pace while still meeting organizational goals.
 Measuring Performance and ROI
Another significant benefit of gamification in learning and development is the ability to track performance in real time. Gamified systems generate data on learner progress, completion rates, response accuracy, and engagement levels. This data allows organizations to assess the effectiveness of their training programs and make informed decisions for future development.
Tumblr media
At SB Animation, we build gamified training tools with integrated analytics to provide valuable insights for HR and L\&D teams. These insights help in refining the training strategy, identifying skill gaps, and ensuring that learning initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
 Transform Training with SB Animation
By embracing gamification in learning and development, companies can transform the way employees learn, grow, and contribute. At SB Animation, we bring together creativity, animation, and strategic design to deliver immersive learning experiences that drive real results. Let us help you turn training into a powerful tool for engagement, performance, and long-term success.
PTE Summarize Spoken Text: Templates and Strategies That Actually Work
Tumblr media
Summarize Spoken Text is one of the trickiest tasks in the PTE Listening section. You’ve got to listen to a 60–90 second audio clip and write a 50–70 word summary—all in just 10 minutes. No pausing, no replays. Sound tough? It is. But with the right strategy, a solid template, and consistent practice using a PTE Mock Test Online, you can turn this challenge into easy marks.
This blog breaks down exactly how to handle it—step-by-step—with smart strategies and effective templates.
What the Task Is Really Testing
Before jumping into the how-to, understand what you're being graded on:
Content – Did you capture the key points?
Form – Did you stick to 50–70 words?
Grammar – Is your writing grammatically correct?
Vocabulary – Is your language varied and accurate?
Spelling – No typos or misspelled words.
Your summary has to be clear, concise, and informative. No fluff. No opinions. Just the essence of what you heard.
3 Smart Strategies That Make a Difference
1. Note Like a Pro
Don't try to write every word you hear. Focus on main ideas, facts, and examples. Use abbreviations and symbols to keep up.
Pro Tip: Structure your notes with a bullet list under headings like:
Topic
Main points
Supporting details
Conclusion (if any)
2. Listen for Structure
Most PTE audios follow a loose structure: Introduction → Key Points → Conclusion. Listen actively and mentally organize the talk as you go.
Clues to listen for:
“Firstly,” “In addition,” “To summarize,” etc.
Repeated ideas or transitions (they often signal key points)
3. Use a Reliable Template
Having a flexible template helps you organize your thoughts fast and stay under the word limit.
2 Powerful Templates You Can Use
Template 1: General Summary
The speaker discussed [main topic], highlighting several key aspects such as [point 1] and [point 2]. Additionally, [point 3] was mentioned to emphasize [relevance]. The talk concluded by stressing the importance of [main takeaway or conclusion].
✅ Best for: General academic topics
Template 2: Problem-Solution or Cause-Effect
The lecture focused on [issue/topic], outlining causes such as [cause 1] and [cause 2]. The speaker also proposed solutions like [solution], aiming to address the problem effectively. In conclusion, [final point or significance].
✅ Best for: Science, environment, or social topics
Example Summary
Audio Topic: The impact of social media on mental health.
Using Template 1:
The speaker discussed the impact of social media on mental health, highlighting negative effects such as anxiety and depression. Additionally, the constant comparison on platforms was mentioned as a contributing factor. The talk concluded by stressing the importance of awareness and digital well-being.
Final Tips for a Top Score
Practice active listening daily (podcasts, TED Talks)
Review and edit your summary in the last 2 minutes
Don’t copy phrases word-for-word from the audio—paraphrase!
Stay calm during the audio. One missed sentence won’t ruin your summary.
Wrap-Up
The PTE Summarize Spoken Text task is about speed, structure, and smart strategy. Learn to take sharp notes, listen with purpose, and lean on a proven template. Do that, and you’ll walk into the test with confidence—and walk out with points on the board.
Capture Clear Audio Anywhere, Stay Powered Everywhere: A Creator’s Guide to Bluetooth Microphones, Wireless Lapel Mics, and Power Stations
In today’s content-driven world, creators, educators, and professionals don’t just need tools—they need mobility, reliability, and quality rolled into one. Whether you’re filming a podcast in the park, conducting interviews on the go, or teaching a virtual class from a remote location, three essential pieces of gear can make or break your workflow: a bluetooth microphone, a wireless lapel microphone, and a power station.
Tumblr media
While each of these tools serves a different purpose, they share a common goal—empowering creators to perform without limits. Let’s dive into how they work together to create a seamless, mobile, and efficient production setup.
Bluetooth Microphone: Audio Without Wires or Walls
Say goodbye to tangled cords and hello to freedom of movement. A bluetooth microphone is a compact, wireless solution that pairs easily with your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Whether you're recording vocals, narrating a video, or joining a Zoom call, Bluetooth mics offer a portable way to capture clear, broadcast-ready sound—without being tethered to your device.
Why creators love it:
Quick setup with no cables required
Hands-free convenience for mobile or live content
Built-in battery that supports hours of recording
Wide compatibility with phones, tablets, and laptops
Perfect for vlogging, mobile journalism, or social media reels, bluetooth microphones let you focus on your message, not your mic placement. Just clip it on or place it nearby, and you’re ready to go. The real magic? You're free to move, speak naturally, and engage without worrying about sound quality.
Wireless Lapel Microphone: Discreet, Dependable Audio
If your content involves interviews, on-camera dialogue, or public speaking, a wireless lapel microphone (also known as a lavalier mic) is a must-have. It’s small, clips discreetly to your clothing, and delivers professional-grade audio directly to your recording device or transmitter—without intruding on your visuals.
What sets it apart:
Omnidirectional pickup for natural voice capture
Low-profile design that stays out of sight
Stable wireless transmission up to long distances
Ideal for dual-speaker setups (like interviews or podcasts)
From documentary filmmaking to virtual lectures, wireless lapel mics are the go-to for scenarios where audio clarity is non-negotiable. And because they’re hands-free, you can move naturally, speak freely, and focus on your subject—not your setup.
Pair one with a Bluetooth receiver or dedicated transmitter system, and you’ve got a professional audio solution that works even in busy, outdoor environments.
Power Station: The Unsung Hero Behind Every Shoot
You’ve got the perfect mic setup. Your camera is rolling. Your content is flowing. And then—your battery dies. This is exactly where a power station earns its reputation as the unsung hero of mobile production.
A power station is a portable energy hub that can charge everything from your camera and phone to your laptop, lights, and microphone transmitters. With multiple AC outlets, USB ports, and even solar charging capabilities, it provides the energy backbone of your gear—especially in outdoor or off-grid scenarios.
Why it matters:
Ensures uninterrupted shoots, even during long recording days
Powers multiple devices simultaneously
Great for remote locations with no access to wall power
Compact and portable, fitting easily in your setup
For creators who film in nature, travel to multiple locations, or work long events, a power station becomes less of an option and more of a necessity. It’s not just about convenience—it’s about staying productive without compromise.
Seamless Synergy: Why These Tools Work Best Together
What happens when you bring these three tools into one mobile setup?
Use your Bluetooth microphone for spontaneous outdoor vlogs.
Switch to a wireless lapel microphone for structured, dialogue-based content or interviews.
Keep your entire workflow alive with a power station, no matter where you are.
This trio ensures you're not just prepared—you're untouchable. You’re no longer restricted by cables, wall sockets, or short battery lives. You can film in a remote village, a rooftop café, or a busy trade show floor without missing a beat.
And more importantly, your audio quality stays consistent. Your audience isn’t distracted by background noise, muffled voices, or technical glitches. They hear you, loud and clear—every time.
Final Thoughts: Empowering Creation Through Smart Tools
At the heart of great content is a simple truth: people tune in for value, but they stay for quality. When your voice is clear, your energy is consistent, and your gear doesn’t get in your way, your audience trusts what you’re offering.
With the freedom of a bluetooth microphone, the precision of a wireless lapel mic, and the reliability of a portable power station, you're not just prepared to create—you’re set to thrive. Whether you’re a one-person team or part of a growing media crew, these tools offer the kind of quiet power that lets your story take center stage.
Blog post 3 -Kyla
Blog Post #3
During the last few weeks, our lectures have painted a complex and eye-opening photo of
Black life in the United States, traditionally and imaginatively. One relevant subject that has
caught my attention is how African American records aren’t just about survival but constant
transformation. The professor helped us see this, not just through textbook records, but by
pulling in principles like Afrosurrealism, which turns records and struggle into something poetic,
bizarre, and powerfully emotional.
In class, we traced the legacy of systemic racism through slavery, Reconstruction, Jim
Crow, and the civil rights movement. However, what stood out to me was how we didn’t only
focus on violence and oppression but also on how Black communities responded to it. There is a
consistent thread of creative resistance, whether through music, religion, community building, or
storytelling.
That’s where Afrosurrealism enters the communication, highly and excitingly. The
professor defined it as a tool to discover truths that can’t always be captured by realism.
Afrosurrealism isn't fantasy for fantasy’s sake; it’s an emotional and historical fact-telling
technique. It asks, “What does it feel like to live in a world fashioned by trauma, racism, and
forced forgetting?” and then, it presents solutions that query through symbols, distortion, and
surreal imagery.One lecture that caught my attention was when we explored the work of Henry Dumas.
The professor mentioned how his writing, which blends mysticism, song, and politics, offers a
glimpse into the religious dimensions of Black resistance. I had never heard of Dumas before this
elegance. Nevertheless, writers like him opened the door for later Afrosurrealists like Sun Ra,
Octavia Butler, and even contemporary musicians like Kendrick Lamar. The professor's
connections between historic trauma and imaginative freedom felt sparkling and deeply relevant.
I additionally favored how the professor challenged us to remember the politics of
creativity. Afrosurrealism insists that desires are necessary because they reveal the distortions of
fact that Black humans experience every day.
So much of what we’ve discovered in elegance indicates how African American records
and Afrosurrealism are deeply intertwined. You couldn’t recognize the prevailing with out
spotting the surreal nature of the beyond and the absurdity of legal guidelines that dehumanized
humans based on race, the contradictions of a rustic that preached liberty while practising
slavery, and the dreamlike greatness of Black wish that persists inside the face of it all.
This elegance has reminded me that studying records isn’t just about memorizing
activities; it’s about studying how humans have navigated pain, located joy, and reimagined the
world around them. Afrosurre
