to be completely honest i thought that i should start joining the led zep tumblr community by doing something mind-blowing, SO.

a brief pre-story: i collect cd’s and have very many different stuff but my true pride is my collection of zeppelin japanese cd’s that are the vinyl replicas. and actually the thing that caught my eye about them is that the japanese issues in general have the booklets with original primary-source lyrics.

i know that some of the zep lyrics are often get misinterpreted due to various reasons so i thought that it would be interesting to some of you if i post the lyrics from the japanese issues’ booklets!!

some areas are a little overexposed due to the glossy paper but i made the notes for you to be able to read what is there!!

the good thing about singing along to led zeppelin songs is that you can sing whatever however you want because i'm 99% sure that not even robert plant knows the lyrics and what pitch he's supposed to be singing in

same goes for the guitar: with guitar solos up to 30 minutes long it's gotta be in there somewhere
