ji-han's entire love life can be summed up as: "me and the two hot noonas i pulled by being an absolutely pathetic loser"

Wedding Impossible. Episode Nine.
I really love that Lee Ji Han has only needed one person to choose him and all the surface stuff wouldn’t even matter to him anymore. Love the love story
But I WILL really love it if this turns out to be a brothers finally choosing each other even above a love story

about jihan ahjeong, it had so much potential till the scene where ahjeong said yes to dohan, in the midst of her anger. after that well half of it was morally wrong and the other half, messy writing.

(this, yeah, this is where it went downhill)

The following is a RANT because wedding impossible is got me in a RAGE
Istg I'm watching wedding impossible and why the heck are they trying to make Do Han look STRAIGHT-
Mans acting like a whole questionable second male lead when his stroy should have been given the screen time it deserved :D
Like even the little things like how when Do Han meets his ex there's no real indication that they liked each other at any point. Like you could pass him off as a stalker and be done with it. It's like the script is intent on making the queer aspect 'palatable' for mainstream straight audiences and shooting themselves in the foot.
Then this whole narrative of oh Ji Han and Ah Jeong shouldn't be blamed for something they didn't do - just - pause. The show is so insistent on making them victims when in reality they both have zero fucks about the situation they were putting everyone in.
Like they're literally running around public even though the engagement was announced? Like fake marriage or not this is literally about keeping your promises and not acting like absolute jerks.
And the press conference fake out- not the show spending the entire run saying it's "selfish" to not come out and then REFUSING to let Do Han to act on his own accord when he wanted to - because its totally not important for him to be the one deciding his own story ahahah -
And Also Ji Han's whole shtick about "living his life for his brother" is just absolute bs but the show does not want to admit it. Like the man literally planned his dream life of conquerorkng LJ and put Do Han in the picture cuz he knew the grandfather wouldn't give him the company.
And the audacity of this show to say that its wrong when Do Han wants to give up the company and not like the life he's been put up to but it's okay when Ji Han wants to give everything up? Like DO YOU HEAR YOURSELF.
I found it very difficult to believe that the brothers actually loved each other. Especially in Ji Han's case because he claimed that he's been living his life to guard Do Han and then he goes and BEATS HIM UP because being closeted in a homophobic country is SELFISH and suddenly the fact that it was a mutual contract doesn't matter because now thay he likes ah jeong she can do no wrong and is bejng used EVEN THOUGH she literally said yes on a whim with zero actual intent to "protect" Do Han. Girl literally did it for REVENGE.
I really enjoyed the first few episodes but then the direction they took was utterly exasperating.
I cannot
I'm not even done with the series yet

Halloween has changed forever
Warning: I’m talking about the disaster in Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea. Mentions of people who have died, with mention to particular names.
I don’t usually celebrate Halloween, just never really been into it. However, I never really shied away from the Halloween spirit. This year it is different.
After the incident in Itaewon, I don’t know if I’ll ever think of halloween the same way again. I had a family friend that was there. Someone I only see every few years but whom I think of often. Luckily, they left before disaster struck.
I’ve done what I can to keep up to date with the news in Itaewon, watching as the official casualty list rose and victims from my own country were identified. I read survivors’ stories and felt my heart get heavier and heavier as I grieved people I didn’t even know existed. I had heard a rumour that the reason people had “flocked” to a certain area was because there was a celebrity there, I told myself that this was just a rumour and is probably not true, but again my anxious brain went down rabbit holes and I worried about skz. This morning, when I looked at the Itaewon news, I heard about Lee Ji Han. I’m not very well versed in the celebrities of Korea, I would be able to recognise the more famous ones by who they were in shows I’ve watched but I don’t keep up with any of the background stuff. Never before I heard about his death had I known Lee Ji Han, however seeing his portrait brought up a lot of feelings of grief and pain. He looked like a kind person, I don’t know what he is like at all irl but he reminded me of Seungmin: a young and talented man with a beautiful smile. However, he so easily got caught up in a national disaster and passed away, out of the blue. I know his family and those who knew him will be grieving and healing from this tragedy for a long time. However, though I didn’t know Lee Ji Han, I would like to pay my respects to him and wish him a nice sleep. If he had beliefs about the afterlife, then I wish him a peaceful afterlife wherever he felt his final resting place would be. I extend this farewell to all of the deceased victims, wishing that their passing was not too painful. For those who survived and those who lost people, please don’t let this tragedy permanently take away your happiness. Sure, grieve, but continue to live on. Seek help, even if you think you don’t need it. This is something that can cause a lot of trauma unbeknownst to the victim, and looking after yours and other’s mental healths is one of the most important steps in healing a country and it’s individuals.
I would say happy Halloween, but it’s not really. Instead, I would like to say happy life because you don’t need a special occasion to celebrate the good things or learn from the bad things.
Stay safe everyone and I wish you all a good, happy future ❤️💞
- from an international STAY 💞
