only a single other person knows who this character is but sometimes i just remember elese my bard tav elese . first time outside after a lifetime of nobility and pampering only to get a tadpole inserted behind her eye, repeatedly fall in grease, get attacked by goblins for not smearing shit on her face, immediately start beef with all of the bards she has encountered so far, get flirted with by a soldier from hell (she only just learned that hell is really bad), play the lute mid battle and cry . and her closest friend is a monk that got hit in the head really hard. and these are the people tasked with saving the world

Also, on a whim, the Shadowheart that Valxus recruited is a bard. She exclusively plays the Lolth lyre, refuses to heal anybody, and has the best vicious mockery. She and Valxus hate each other.
I really need to fix her glove dye, though.

So far Act III has been a lot of breaking and entering
Break into some rich fucker's house to steal his shit after he was rude to refugees? Check. Break into the basement of a church to help solve a murder? Check. Break into a mausoleum for some friendly grave-robbing (and to look for Orin's people)? Check. Break into an underwater prison to release the prisoners? Check. Break into the newspaper offices to switch out the plates for the next day's top story? Check.

dear bg3 modders, please find a place to declare you are open for commissions that is not discord
trying to search through one extremely long and completely unorganized channel, to find people who are making things for in-game vs drawing characters + ocs, making merch, etc, is deeply frustrating. especially when no one is using any sort of template with keywords I could use to search

you dont really get to specify your sexuality in bg3 which is totally fine but sometimes it can be really really funny. i walk up to astarion during a party. he looks over at my tav and says "damn i wanna have sex so badddddddd :// but not with YOU because youre fucking GROSS and NOT sexy. i hope you arent here to beg me for anything". the camera pans over to the most dykeish tav i could have possibly made

I really think Mark Hulmes was the perfect DM to run a game for the BG3 companions and the narrator of BG3.
- He has a very long experience with DnD both as a DM and a player.
- He also has a long experience running streamed games with two completed long form campaigns (three if you count Nights of Eveningstar) along with a number of shorter campaigns and oneshots.
- More importantly, he has experience DMing for both new players, veterans and a mix of the two - on stream. And he's good at making things comfortable for someone who is unsure about the rules while also on camera, along with shifting views to give them space to both roleplay and roll dice if they wish.
-Minor but related to the above, he's brittish, so he naturally has a better feel for the type of banter that will be familiar and comfortable to other brits.
- He is known, but not hugely so, which makes him less intimidating to play with for a new player espescially. Which is an aspect I think people might overlook because they naturally think of the most known DM's when there's talk of running a session with with the cast from a big game.
Yeah, some of them are very experienced VA's, but that doesn't make them immune to performance anxiety about playing their first session of DnD ever, on camera, espescially with a big name DM like Matt Mercer, Aabriya Iyengar, Brennan Lee Mulligan or B Dave Walters. "What if I screw things up!" is a horrible little demon that no-one is immune to (including the big name DM's themselves). ;)
- From a practical aspect, High Rollers having their own studio and being located in the UK makes transport and logistics (and probably scheduling) easier to arrange.
I also hope we get another session down the line where Mark runs another game for the BG3 cast where Matt gets to play Minsc along with Jaheira's VA, and Minthara's VA thrown in for additional chaos. :)
And while I'm making wishes, an all Tavs DnD session would be cool too.

Post BG3 story Miriam stays in the city after being banished from the underdark. Astarion remains by her side as they transition back to life before the tadpole.
Miriam forms a small mercenary group, though the word mercenary might not be the best description. A ragtag group of misfits doing small jobs around the city and the sword coast. Astarion follows along wherever Miriam goes, he remains right at her side.
Played around in character creation to make her little group of misfits.
Essence | She/Her | Tiefling | Ranger
Personality wise she reminds me a lot of Ty Lee from ALAB. She is cheerful, always positive, and a little bit of a dork, but that doesn't diminish her skills as a ranger.
Sam aka Sammy | He/Him | Hafling | Rogue/Artificer
Uncle of the group. He is a skilled bomb maker / metalworker / rogue. He can get into anything whether it's by lock pick or blowing a hole in the side of a wall. Common Miriam line "Piss me off and i'll have to send in the hafling, and you don't want to deal with the hafling."
Striker | She/Her | Dragonborn | Monk
Specializing in hand to hand combat, Striker will get shit done. Not necessarily into murder, more about subduing her target for interrogation, flexibility and speed is her prime. She is a sweety, mother of the group. I imager her like that one shop keeper in worm's crossing that's overly peppy because i love her.
Sapphrina (Rina) | She/Her | Drow | Sorcerer
Also banished from the underdark, Sapphrina found her home in baldur's gate. She is a sorcerer, yet her magic is not fully attuned, which sometimes leave the room ablaze, or shrouded with fog. She is working on it. Very smart, has a lot of trivia knowledge, probably a bit autistic.
Bartholomew | He/Him | Human | Bard
Oh your traditional bard, playing music and singing his song to the masses, except with a bit of a darker side. Secretly a trained assassin, he uses his wit and charm to get into royal parties and sneak away when no one is looking, only to find his target where they least expect it.
anyway that's the Miriam crew,, they are very gay and silly and i love them to pieces. i hope to write more about them and astarion and create my own little universe
