Anyone Else Do This Too?

You know, I spend quite a bit of time snapping pics of different scenes and random moments while I'm playing with my sim-family. I'm talking about maxing out that photography skill and using the camera object to take photos from my Sims' perspective to stash in their keepsake boxes and spruce up their homes. It just feels way more personal and memorable than slapping up random Sim photos from the buy-build catalog – I mean, my Sims don't know those folks!

And not only that, but I get a real kick out of taking artsy shots of the game environment and using them as decorations on the walls.

So, here's my question: am I the only one who's into this? If you're on the same page, I'd love to check out your Sims' walls for some inspiration. Hit me up in the comments!

PS: Yeah, I turned off mirror reflection for game performance. Don't worry about it.

and then the day came.

davis died. he was my first sim who died, so i was super sad too.

they engraved his epitaph: “Affectionate father, loved dearly.”

since snow spent most of her time trying to fulfill her aspiration to befriend all animals (like the little adorable stray dog there), it was davis who mostly took care of the kids and the house. he was a fantastic dad.

Hello everyone! I am thrilled to announce my updated and more user-friendly challenge. If you are unfamiliar with me or my challenge, let me introduce myself. My name is SimfinityPlays, but you may recognize me as HopesBecameOurNightmares. Recently, I have revamped my channel, Tumblr, and Challenge with a new name and appearance. This challenge is dear to my heart because I designed it for simmers like me who get easily bored. This challenge allows complete creative freedom to those who create sims for it! MBTI Legacy Challenge 16 Generations Inspired by the 16 Myers-Briggs Types

The MBTI Legacy Challenge is inspired by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator – a pseudoscientific self-report questionnaire that measures one’s preferences on four dimensions of personality type. The test attempts to assign a value to each of four categories: introversion or extraversion, sensing or intuition, thinking or feeling, and judging or perceiving. One’s four-letter test result represents 1 of 16 possible types. The underlying assumption of MBTI is that each type has specific preferences in the way they interpret their experiences.

This legacy challenge is about diving deeper into the personalities of your sims beyond the limitations of the game. Each type’s preferences underpin their interests, needs, values, and motivation. And in exploring each generation, decisions are made with that particular personality in mind. There are no backstories; rather, there are detailed descriptions and curated lists of aspirations, traits, and careers that are deliberately left open-ended so you can create unique stories. There are also scenarios and prompts specific to each type that affect the lives of your sims in relation to their career, love life, and relationship with their children. No two MBTI Legacy Challenges will ever be the same. This challenge is for players who love structure but also love the freedom to be creative in their gameplay and storytelling.

davis was a geek, but living in a cottage style home he kinda never had the chance to live up to his nerdy dreams. so when the geek con came in town, snow went with him and in their old age they hit the gaming fun!

this was so sweet because snow is a total ignoramus with anything tech related, so it was adorable to see them play these random bowling game and and then ar stuff together loll 💖
