cons of having a 900+ post queue: sometimes i realize that the artwork i just queued away is an unsourced repost/ai generated and i have to scroll down all 900 posts to delete it
#i try to do my due diligence upfront but some things sliP PAST MY RADAR#in the past two days alone ive gone hunting through notes of at least three posts to reblog a version with the source listed...#just now i got tricksed by a rendition of la belle dame sans merci which seemed legit with the description sourcing an artist#but i kept squinting at it bc it didn't Feel quite right#googled the artist: seems like a real artist that lived. but the only source for that particular artwork was tumblr#and the horse was missing a leg so i have strong suspicions it's ai. the texture is grainy which makes look more legit#anyway I hope my sideblog followers appreciate the care i take to share properly sourced art u_u#i cannot guarantee that i never slip up because evidently i do. but i try !!!#i also prefer to not reblog from meme content farms#yes i have ocd why do you ask#thank GOD nfts have fallen out of style. i used to double check so many artists for just that#still do when something gives me the Vibe and i hate how many times im right

lowkey was not dialed in for the end of rg so didnt see 90% of the discourse around aryna's press con until later but it is interesting to me that so many people are taking what she said to be purposeful discrediting coco when in reality i think aryna is just a player who spent most of her formative years with her entire playstyle being defined by how many errors she made and for a long time her biggest rival/threat was someone who was praised for being clinical/precise etc. and you wonder why she said 'if iga was playing in this match she would have won it'...like to be clear it was still not the right thing to say and blatantly disrespectful to coco and also not really true but i really dont think aryna was coming at it from the perspective of "coco didnt play that well i just played worse" but rather "i played bad and someone like iga would never have let this match slip"...like this is the second time she's lost a gs final to coco from a set up so naturally she's going to feel like she's orchestrated her own downfall...
#like idk i just feel like when the part of your game that gets emphasized the most is how many errors you make#of course that's going to be something you hyperfixate on#& aryna has always seemed pretty aware of that so i dont really understand why ppl think it was meant to be a pointed attack#there is a very legit conversation as well about how easily black women get discredited (especially in sport and ESPECIALLY in tennis)#but idk...i just feel like this is a pattern we've seen from aryna before in terms of blaming herself for needless losses#regardless of the opponent#like i said it was still disrespectful and she shouldnt have said it but i just feel like it was also clearly a very emotional outburst lol#she apologized#if youre a coco fan or if you otherwise have been turned off from aryna bc of it then thats up to you and i dont blame you#but the way some people just sort of took it and ran with it is crazy to me....anyway!

#it’s gotten a THOUSAND times better in the past decade for me i literally switched to online school bc i was so anxious it was causing#truancy problems. (well and i was being harrassed horribly bc someone had just outed me as trans and i legit feared for my life)#i couldnt even go into the grocery store without having a full on panic attack and now i often stay out interacting w the public for hours#at a time.#so like it’s gotten so much better i can actually cope and do it now but i still am awkward and freak out at times and it’s like.#it’s so frustrating bc why can you not just be normal. why cant you just interact like everyone else#youve been seriously at it for years now and youre still anxious? despite nearly every interaction going JUST FINE?#im also incredibly nervous walking around here too i DESPISE#crossing streets. bc that’s also social interaction. you have to watch cars and yield and pay attention to people letting you cross etc#so bc i have to walk everywhere it heightens my anxiety already by the time i get to wherever i need to further interact w people#idk idk idk. just trying to be easy on myself bc i did in fact force myself to get better and i am improving the more i do it.#but goddamn. yknow.
