I’m so grateful that my back is much better. I’ve been sending my QL and lower back lots of love and being grateful for all the support they give me and my back is so much better now. I even went to pole today and managed to do a few tricks. It was a real game changer for me as I could barely move the first few days after my accident. I didn’t realise how much I rely on my back and core muscles just to climb stairs, pick things up, tie my shoes, get out of bed and other mundane tasks that I just do without thinking. It’s been a humbling experience to slow down everything and modify my practice for a week. Well…that didn’t quite have the effect he’d been going for. He blinks dumbly, wondering if he’d just daydreamed that whole kiss. Not possible. He wasn’t that tired. Right? He can see Smokescreen wincing, and he can’t help but run his glossa over his teeth to check to see if he’d drawn energon.

Soundwave lets himself be tucked back into the blankets, all four, violet optics squinted like a cat both pleased with himself and irritated by his current situation. His temperature is still low, far lower than is healthy, but not so low to warrant a medic visit. At least, that’s Soundwave’s hope. He might defiantly throw his legs into Smokescreen’s lap as soon as the mech settled down again, even if he has to wriggle to reach him. He makes sure, of course, to not knock over his energon. That would stain his blankets.

“Smokescreen: should be very scared. Soundwave: once warm; will get you.” Optics slide shut, and he trills softly. “…Soundwave: makes no promises. Query: will you still be here? Soundwave: apologizes for nipping you; forgets about fangs.”

He can’t help but frown as he checks Soundwave’s temperature. To be so low... Was he not getting enough energon? Was it sudden, or something that had been going on for a while? The kiss was shocking, but it seemed like it was just something Soundwave did because he was sick, not thinking. That’s probably it.

“Oh, you’re gonna get me? You’re going to have to catch me first.” Smokescreen laughs, casually bending to rest his arms against Soundwave’s legs, starting to relax as he curls up, doorwings wiggling as he gets comfy.

“Hey, it happens! You did warn me to stay quiet- even if that did sting. And of course, I’ll stay here. It’s a sleepover, isn’t it? I’ll get you some breakfast once we’re both awake again, okay?” He’s patting the leg offered as he tries to shift underneath it, trying to get his body cozy under the weight of Legwave.

For a mech that had begged to stay with him in an awkward sleep over, while he felt poorly because of the cold, Smokescreen sure as hell didn't know how to shut up. Soundwave, buried deep within his blanket nest with his pedes flung into the Autobot's lap, clicked softly in warning, digging his heel into a thigh.

After the warning is ignored and he makes a verbal one, the dark mech forces himself up with a broken snarl, grabbing Smokescreen by the collar plating and yanking him over. He doesn't even think, the chill made his head hazy and hurting - that's the excuse he'll use. To explain why he smashed his mouth against Smokescreen's, sharp teeth nipping lightly before he pulls away, staying close enough to hiss out;

"Smokescreen: will be quiet now; face consequences otherwise."

My 8 tips for strong hips are coming soon. In the meantime, here are more explorations of #legwave. •Jump onto straight arms. Bring the arms close to the hips! As @lucasrockwood says, strong arms are long arms.
