lemonverse week day 6-create a new lv chara

go to hollywood has always been a fave of mine....heres a Guy(?)

moved to lemonville after completing the hollywood circuit of rise to fame, glory days, scandal, and replacement. name, face, and any personal info is completely unknown to the rest of the town, as they always wear trenchcoats, hats, gloves, and a full faceless chrome mask. often found at newsstands reading tabloids and gossip magazines. has a voice that sounds familiar, yet too generic to place. overdramatic and easily insulted and hurt. carries their old teeth in their pockets as a reminder of who they used to be.

What is the EAMGSA?

The EAMGSA (Evil-and-Morally-Grey-Scientists-Association, better name forever pending) is a powerful underground council of evil and morally grey scientists that build monsters, undead armies, absurd diseases, death rays and everything else evil and morally grey to their hearts' content. It is made out of ridiculous cheesy cartoon villains, a definition that includes not just mad scientists but also among other things, necromancers, alchemists, the occasional alien, and any kind of occult dabblers. At the same time it also acts as a research fund. They appear to have infinite money between the lot of them and if you need funding for your death beam project, you can submit a proposal to them. There's also a huge roster of willing interns, junior researchers and aspiring minions just waiting for their chance to take part to some big evil breakthrough.

The meta rule for the EAMGSA is that their villainy is ALWAYS toony and somewhat ineffectual. They have so many monsters and calamities ready to wreak havoc but outside the walls of their council they are always heroically stopped in the end, or just build things for the sake of it and call themselves "evil" but have no desire to take any lives. They're more about advancing mad science than actually applying it. Anyone Realistically Evil such as an oil tycoon would raise eyebrows within the EAMGSA and they would not be accepted. Doc was not EAMGSA-funded but their successful revival of Laa made them a (sometimes begrudgingly) respected member of theirs and this allows them to get pretty much continuous funding from them as well as direct support on Laa-related matters. Laa, while not necessarily respected by EAMGSAists as a person, is a zombie that retained a lot of his old self and this makes him an interesting case study that they're invested in keeping alive.

the graevyàrd is the most familiar and low-risk of course, but if he's feeling confident and wants to skip the bodily toll he will sometimes try to steal them out of funeral homes, morgues, or crematoria. lemonville is better for this since there is so much weird and paranormal shit happening constantly it's unlikely for him to be blamed for the thefts over any other thing.

there was probably one life where he managed to befriend one very superstitious, very amoral funeral director who would let him take bodies in exchange for magic spells benefiting them. that has to be the easiest his job has ever been and he always yearns to recreate that situation and of course it never fucking works.

*Sagi's overseeing Kodiak fill out paperwork for Xanaria, Sadie, and Beth to get registered at the Equestrian Citizen Office. But he's also staring intently at Kodiak every now and then like he's trying to discern something.*

Kodiak: *major rbf as he's very focused on making sure everything is as accurrate as he can make it without getting xanaria and beth exiled out of equestria for being yk...changeling/changeling hybrids. He notices Sagi's staring, but waits for Sagi to actually communicate anything.*

A Glimmer of hope

"It's done-...It's finally done...Well...Almost- I just...need to test it out-"

As they're walking through Canterlot, Celestia and Luna stumble upon an area currently being decorated for a springtime festival. The shops are busy preparing, and the space is crowded with many colorful ponies - Most of which are unicorns. Just like with the rest of the city, Celestia and Luna struggle to keep track of where they're going, and with the density of ponies up and about, they're having a hard time sticking together.

As hours pass, Celestia insists on checking out several stores along the way. After one particularly long visit, the pair step outside to find it's dark outside and the majority of ponies have left the scene.

The streets are lit by hanging lanterns, the world around them cast in purple and pink hues, and they take a moment to admire the atmosphere. Then, across the street Celestia spots a yellow pony with very large red and orange wings.

Before Luna can stop her, much to her annoyance, Celestia excitedly runs over to the pony.

"Oh wow! I didn't know phoenixes evolved to become ponies! Your feathers are so pretty! They- remind me of my own phoenixes Philomena, are you-"☀️

Luna hurries over and quickly cuts her off.

"Tia-! Can't you see you're scaring him!? We're supposed to be inconspicuous remember!? And it's very rude of you to just suddenly ask someone about their wings!" 🌙

*she quiets her tone so only Celestia can hear her*

"And if you haven't noticed everyone here is staring at them, because of their wings, which lets me know this is uncommon. You're drawing even more attention to it by yelling like that!" 🌙

Celestia blushes in embarrassment and she shrinks back.

"O-Oh, my apologies..." she mumbles to the pony.☀️

"Sorry about my sister, " Luna begins, "You can call me Crescent, and this is my sister Lightia. She gets overexcited easily, I apologize if she frightened you." 🌙
