Dear a person I like,

I like you platonically, but I desperately wish we could be closer. I see you in everything. Whenever I cry listening to music, I think about you. I think about what we shared. What you gave me in those short years. My hatred. My anguish. You were the first person that I cared about. You were the first person that cared about me.

I think about the way you always averted your eyes whenever I came into view, day after day until summer rolled around, and I remember the days where I came home and tried to strangle myself with whatever cord that came in handy- computer, fan, lamp, it didn’t matter. If I wasn’t good enough for you, I wanted to die. But that’s over now. That was then, and now is now.

Tonight, I saw you. We spoke.

You’re still as beautiful as I remembered. You’ve changed, sure, but for the better as far as I can see from beyond the thick, glass barrier that has segregated us for so long. You’ve become smarter, more open, and as I look upon you, I can feel my heart ache, because it’s then that my hope returns and I think, ”Is this my second chance…?”

I don’t intend to come off as a stalker in this letter, however. It is simply the fact that you have still, after all this time, occupied so much space in my head, in my subconscious, and it’s so difficult for me not to almost worship you, admire you, for everything. I just want to spend time with you. Maybe we could sit and talk about all of those things that happened. Maybe, I’ll be able to fully apologize for those silly things that I had done. Maybe we could at least be friends.

Perhaps I’ll muster up the courage to drop by on Tuesday.

I remember I used to have a Rouge recolor OC. Her name was Beige (like another color, I couldn't even come up with a name) and she was a cat. I like used her for everything and she was Rouge's best friend and Sonic had a crush in her. Still makes me cringe to this day
