Reblogging but I want to specifically point out the WAVE tool, which probably should have been on the top of this list (instead of the very bottom). I think it's probably the easiest way to identify and fix accessibility issues because it points out issues and provides and explanation on what's wrong and how to fix it with links to the WCAG.

It’s so interesting to me that in the penultimate scene of Dooku: Jedi Lost, Lene Kostana’s plan to solve the problem of “Dooku is stuck mindmelded to a half-insane dark side dragon while being tortured and facing a spiritual crisis” is to yell at Sifo-Dyas to “help him.” Sifo-Dyas? Sifo-Dyas who is, at that very moment, writhing on the ground at her feet screaming and crying and laughing hysterically as all the futures collapse in on themselves and low key shatter his mind in the process? Oh, that Sifo-Dyas? A guy who is definitely in a position to help a person possessed by or possessing an evil dragon!

But it’s actually a remarkable thought: what did she think Sifo-Dyas was going to do? Are Jedi bonds so powerful that she could reasonably expect Sifo-Dyas to be able to psychically help Dooku unhook from the Tirra’taka, even when he’s in that state? Is it similar to earlier in the book when Sifo-Dyas is trying to wring out more Protobranch details from his mind but faltering, and Dooku tells him to pull from his strength? Can they share back and forth like that? Even now, after their bond has been avoided for presumably years?

Alternatively, it could just be the thing where every time shit goes sideways, multiple times throughout the book, Lene tells Dooku and/or Sifo-Dyas to “help your friend”. The way that reminding them to help someone else is a surefire way to get a well-trained teenaged Jedi to calm down in a crisis. They’re full Jedi Masters in the penultimate scene, but when everything is falling apart and Sifo-Dyas is literally on the ground, she’s still telling him to focus on his friend instead of what’s happening in his own head. She's trying to reset him.

I don’t know, either way, I find it really poignant.

"Mom! Mom! Look at me!"

Lene practically runs towards her mother. She hasn't seen much of her this evening, but the arrival of the green-haired woman gladdens her heart. 

Maybe the two of them could do all the kinds of things together that she'd always dreamed of. Oh, how her chest burst with excitement. Lene never pictured herself at a royal ball like this, let alone with her mother.

"Let's go see the ocean! But oh, do you wanna dance? What do you prefer, Mom? Let's do something that you wanna do?"

And how dazzling she looked! This was the reason she became a dancer herself. Her mom must be a total heartthrob. Lene loops an arm through Silvia's, leaning her head on her shoulder. "You look so pretty......I just wanna stay next to you..."

Maybe she'd overdressed? Lene tries not to think about it. The only thing that mattered was that they had each other. 

Lene is so excited, ecstatic to be here with her, but it feels as if Silvia is rooted to the spot, and her smile is fragile, laced with glass. A day like this should have been one special to her, cherished and dear. Instead it feels like she is treading on eggshells. What was she supposed to say, what would a mother do? She may have been one by definition, but Silvia sure didn’t feel like a very good one now.

Lene chatters on animatedly, and it is with a strange sense of pride that Silvia regards her again. Her elaborate dress is leagues more appropriate to the venue than the simple dancer's attire that she was wearing. Had she not known better, she could almost believe that the woman besides her was a noble lady. Perhaps it was for the best she had—

No.

Silvia's chest tightens again. How did she address to a daughter the same age as her, anyways? One she barely knew, one she left alone in the world?

“We can do anything you’d like… darling. Whatever makes you happy is what makes me happy.”

An arm wraps around hers, and she stiffens. Immediately, Silvia hates herself all the more for it. Here she is, reunited at long last, and she is keeping Lene at a distance. Silvia tries to relax into the gesture, and only partially manages to convince herself to do so.

The only thing she knows is that even if everything goes wrong and Lene turns out to hate her, she will not leave again. Not like she did last time.

I did not have unflavored dental floss so my rolls did not come out all nice and neat, but it's the taste that matters in the end, right? I did taste the cream cheese frosting before hand and it's great. The recipe for the frosting asks for coffee creamer which I don't have because I don't drink coffee, but it still came out good. Also used salted butter and again, still came out great.

Pouring heavy cream on top of the rolls is inspired! It really did come out good.

I'll never get over thinking about Dooku as a natural lightning prodigy.

He throws lightning more frequently than any character in the series. Sidious is certainly the more powerful Sith, but he looks like he's angrily giving birth to a rhino every time he uses it, compared to Dooku, who looks hydrated and relaxed. Rewatching Clone Wars, it's his signature move, he almost uses it like an extra lightsaber to beef up the momentum on his Makashi. He uses lightning to escape countless times - when he should be down, when he's otherwise beaten, when he's separated from his lightsaber. Anakin maiming him reads as a significant act of malice - he took his one hand, so he'll take both - but really, it's also a very ruthlessly practical way to definitely de-weaponize Dooku.

And then, the tasty backstory -- he's been using it since he was like twenty, no one seems to have taught him how but it just happens when he needs to save himself/his loved ones (the scene in Dooku: Jedi Lost where he can't get it off his hands and is terrified 🥺--), and the whole connection to Serenno with the Tirra'taka being lightning-aspected. It's so cool if it's a whole natural proclivity thing in connection with his birth planet's weirdness. I just think it's neat, okay??
