New column! (*Narrator voice*: Previously, Lestat had asked his editor for contact details of a "RegretfulSoul" who'd written to him to ask for advice about reconnecting with his ex and if forgiveness was possible. Just a reminder.)

If anyone was ever wondering how I feel when I see two men make out passionately on screen this picture is about as accurate as you can get. (Mostly this is in reference to The Witcher tho)

“Lestat is the top/dom!!!” “No!!! Louis is the top/dom!!!”
Have you considered: They’re switches. Lestat goes from a slutty, obnoxious, bratty bottom & sub to a fearsome, ruthless, sadistic dom & top. Louis goes from an annoyed and firm yet caring and motherly top & dom to an annoyed and back-talking bottom and sub who is secretly enjoying Lestat’s crazy antics.

For people who haven't read the books:
Lestat has always been (and will always be) an impulsive needy brat. Ann Rice would lovingly call him the Brat Prince. He is an asshole and abusive at times. Then he's loving and tender at others. He has always been a man of extremes and never learns an iota of self control.
Louis is his opposite. All he knows is how to live for others at first. He is so lost in taking cate of his family that he goes out at night to get drunk and wander the streets hoping to die. He doesn't know how to say or set boundaries, which makes him easy prey for Lestat. It is only after decades together that Louis learns to stand up for himself and a big part of his change is Claudia. Taking care of her helps him evolve and gives him something outside of Lestat. Does Caludia manipulate Louis as well? Of course! This man is gullible to the extreme, especially to those he loves.
The point I'm making is that this romance has always abusive, has always been a horror. Lestat love Louis and in his way Louis loves Lestat, but neither is actually capable of being in a healthy relationship at the time of this novel.
