Suddenly Snape with sorta messy bun. Not a fan of buns, but why not?

Not long ago there was an interesting discussion here on tumblr about a Snape fancast (for some reason I can’t find it now, it would be great if someone left it in the comments).

I'm not into fancasts, but I was curious to try drawing to capture the vibe of a particular artist and see what would happen if I used one of them as a reference or prototype for sketches. I didn’t try to draw portraits, so there won’t be much resemblance; the main goal was to convey the vibe and understand why this particular choice was made. I didn’t get along with someone at all (I’m sorry, but Tom Sturridge just doesn’t give me the Snape vibe, not every long-haired brunette with a gloomy look is Snape, besides Sturridge has a rather small and neat nose))))) Louis Garrel? I wouldn't choose him, but at least I can understand why he is chosen. Although I think it’s obvious which side my sympathies are on)

I don't plan on drawing Snape based on any of the actors in the future, but it was a lot of fun to try.

Finally coloured him, so now it’s a good way to look back on how my style changed in two years. There had to be way more progress in such a long time period, but I wasn’t practicing enough and I’m sorry. But it’s still an opportunity to start practicing more now.

And yeah, it’s 2024 already BUT the sketch itself was made in 2023 and I coloured it in the beginning of January (just didn’t have time to post it) so probably my colouring hasn’t changed much since then.

I decided I really want to put them in the same picture. Still planning on making more of this AU including harry and Sirius as vampire hunters. There already was a short story in post with Draco and I still like the vibe of the idea I got in my mind
