#dead by daylight #the dredge #dbd dredge #my art #quick doodles #it is like a permanent flash bang it's so awful x__x #it is somehow so much worse than the mountain resort good lord #cool map otherwise! i love how many levels and little areas it has. the vibes are also just so good <3 #people often criticize dredge for being map dependent with locker spawns #but the real issue they don't talk about #is how there are some maps that just straight up turn your power from an advantage to an actual hindrance (aka snow maps)#and brother.... my vision is already terrible 😔#(featuring my sad 'we got snowman at home' loadout)

#silent hill 2 #james sunderland #hi lads. ohhh boy a lot happened since i was last here. crawling my way back to drawing #anyways whatever friend mim has been streaming sh2r recently and haha. hahaha. whahahahoohoohooooey #so far its lookin like. an entirely new game tbh. like nominally its sh2 but it's weaving in a Lot of other things that really isnt sh2 #i dont! hate that! and there are moments they put in that i genuinely love. the lamp swinging after a pyramid head encounter for example #but around this ive been thinking abt just like. the concept the idea of remakes and retellings for a horror piece #and like. you do get something from a story you tell again and again. and the way that movement's hollistic and total in a book #like. idk how to express this the entirety of a story will exist at the same time right? after the first time it's told #the chronology in the story doesn't map perfectly onto real life. the beginning and the end exist at the same time #so like that you can choose to be in the forest forever. anyways it's cool that james will never be able to leave silent hill <3 #no matter what ending you get at the end the next time you boot up the game there he'll be again in that wretched town :]#so the remake on purely a conceptual level tickles me like that. go there again. go to fucked up town maine USA ok. go there #anyways akira yamaoka's touchup of the soundtrack is fucking phenomenal regardless of the surrounding theme of laura II and #love psalm of eternal devotion have both ruined my life i NEED to play slitterhead so bad its not even funny

Bloodied Up Franco:

[Idea, gameplay, and some diolog. 🔞⚠️ very mature/Outlast typical themes below]

Il Bambino is more than a moniker

Theme: Unwanted Pregnancy

Franco stalks around a new environment lovingly named “The Nursery”. Washed out pastels and twisted symbols of maternity cling to its walls. Grunt corpses litter nearly every room with their stomachs bloated and cut open with an animalistic roughness.

You must collect mannequins from the bodies of the grunts and deliver them to the trash compactor. There's just one catch, lupara has been taken away and the baby is mad without his toy.

Franco is able to hide within the grunts and can attack the player similar to pouncer although he will actively chase until losing sight of the player. At which point he will begin his patrol and will randomly hide within grunts as he does.

You begin the trial and Franco can be heard crying in the distance. (Genuinely crying, not going wahh).

Dialog:

Intro/Cutscene

[A naked Franco is seen burrowing his way into a grunts corpse in the distance]

“It's gettin’ cold in here.”

“Baby needs warmth.”

“Mama.. Hold me.”

“[whimpering/soft crying]”

First Encounter

[Franco pouncing on the player and attempting to strangle them]

“WAHHHH WAHHHH!”

“YA LOOK WARM!”

“LET'S PLAY!”

“I JUST NEED A HUG!”

Patrolling

“You take my toy!? Touch MY lupara!? I'll rip your throat out!”

“You think I can't hurt you huh? I'll show you..”

“Baby wants to play, get back here!”

“I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT A MAN IS!”

“Slick..Wet…Warm. Just what I need.”

“You don't know what a man is. None of you do.”

“Lupara…Lupara… Baby will find ya, don't worry.”

“You look ripe.”

“I just wanna curl up, I just need a place ta rest.”

“I CAN'T FIND IT! IM GONNA LOSE MY FUCKIN’ MIND!”

“I just think it's nice. Who don't wanna be in their mother again?”

#ask #anonymous #rain world #survivor #hunter #watcher #monk #alright sooo i have complicated feelings #ive only finished the first ending so far!#my overall opinions are very positive! the places were breathtaking and the new ecosystems and their little secrets were suuuper interestin #albeit feeling every empty sometimes. and unpolished..#which brings me to my biggest issue is the map design really?#the way the decided to split the regions and never allowing them to flow and evolve as you explored them was sooo disappointing #esp because some felt more interesting when they were bigger #like ill be in stormy coast and go in a portal... and be still in stormy coast but.. different OOoOo #and when ur campaign is immitating being lost through time and space thats a bit meh?#along with the map design #it felt very unlike rainworld in some places?#like either limiting or having one path or hell- even feeling like a level not a world #and that was meeh #and thats my biggest issues so far. the world design. i completely do NOT AT ALL understand complains with the story or 'vagueness'#the story was VERY CLEAR #LIKE VERY CLEAR LIKE the watcher was VERY OPEN about its story compared to survi #you are lost with this little kid through time and space and you are helping her move on by being the only constant in their life #and watcher relates to being robbed of a childhood through the death of their family #they feel alone and lost and unfitting #searching for smth #WHICH watcher feels like an awesome mirror to survivor #ill ponder about that as survivors story is about accepting the loss of family and ascending #but watcher seems to put a lot of emphasis on rot and going UP instead. running away from the void sea- IM YET TO SEE MORE THO

just thinking that yeah the marauders year did have an iconic time at Hogwarts like I don't think to the level of some fanon I don't really thinkthey were super popular and I don't think they were pulling pranks for no reason all the time more like the marauders made that map for sheer love of the game they were crazy weird nerds while Harry's year idk the weird nerd did make polyjuice in the bathroom that one time but no one knew about that there's crazy rumors flying around about what the trio's doing but no hard evidence and for weird escapades and magical projects they have what??? the Potter stinks badges ig.

"contentment in singleness" doesn't require you to stop desiring marriage & family. it doesn't require you to stop pursuing marriage & family.

Christians are called to be content in any situation--that doesn't mean we abandon all our good desires and concrete goals.

contentment is to trust/rest in God's promises to love you, provide for you, and make you holy.

you can do all of those things, and earnestly want and seek a husband.

He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord. Proverbs 18:22

"Favor from the Lord" meaning, of course, blessing as the result of a life molded by wisdom.

Now, how can one find a good wife without seeking? Seek without wanting? And how can wisdom and contentment be mutually exclusive?

#this post brought to you by the drive home from church yesterday #when I realized that I'm very comfortable (and have been for awhile) where I am #unmarried and unattached but planning to be otherwise #and if I'm always planning for something that never happens? well that's just fine too #I'll have spent my youth becoming the woman I always wanted to be--not for a husband and children but for my parents & the church #and I think it took realizing that I didn't have to give up a good desire before I could *actually* be content #we are called to desire Christ's return always. that doesn't equal discontentment with our lives right now.#Christianity #x #for me it's now as simple as the Created Order fact that MOST people need to marry and procreate to keep civilization from collapsing #and on another level (mapped OVER that fact) it's as simple as God's ordinary means of kingdom-building being families #but goodness knows Christian young people have been inundated with so much overthought on this subject (myself included)#that it's necessary to parse it all out sometimes
