Would it be bad for me to ship Crowberry with Licorice Tea? (My OC) Cause I see the both of them being middle aged and Licorices parents (Plus I see Crowberry being Licorices Biological mom who was taken into the licorice tribe by Licorice Tea)

Gold Choco Cookie

So, I got bored and turned a DnD character I had in the backlogs of "in case my main dies use this sheet", into a Cookie run OC.

And I'm not gonna lie, I think he fits in nicely-

Some say he could rig a barter with the Devil himself and get away with it, others claim that he WAS the Devil himself... And Gold Choco Cookie himself says that he’s just a handsome devil with knack in crafting magic items and had a refined taste for gold.

And yet rumors of the "Golden Smith" were often filled with wild and strange tales of a dealmaker with witch's blood molded into his very dough. The mad creator of destructive tools powerful enough to erase entire kingdoms from the history books in their own unique and TERRIBLE ways.

Shady sales of those very same, wonderfully terrible items that typically came with a hefty price that was not always in the gold he coveted.

And with a smarmy wit that was only matched by his insatiable greed, Gold Choco Cookie had been the poster boy of infamy all his life.

But, whilst those rumors weren't unfounded, you'd be surprised to find a rather quirky and passive little fellow. Instead of some large, intimidating demon given a doughy form... A hermit who's workshop seemed to never be in the same place twice.

Sure, he was unnerving with his almost permanent grin and limitless golden limbs that were kept hidden under his cloak. But, he has never seemed interested in partaking in violence personally... more just profiting off of it.

Revamped my cookie run oc Molasses Cookie!

{ Story under cut }

Molasses Cookie is a physician at the Dark Cacao Kingdom, and the uncle of Caramel Arrow Cookie and the brother of Toffee Cookie (Second Watcher). He is supportive of his family's passion and work, but he won't admit to them that he fears for their safety all the time. He wants to find a way to relieve the danger, and the biggest one in the kingdom is the Licorice Sea. He begins to research it when Caramel is still a child, but over time the books and papers about the sea isn't enough, he would only get more answers hands on, which of course is strictly prohibited to touch or even get near the foul sea. He keeps this a secret from everyone, even his family.

He gets holds of samples, he starts doing tests. Unknowingly to him, the sea is corrupting him from the inside out, slowly over the years breaking him down. His morals start to become unrecognizable, he does horrible things in order to get what he wants. For the "greater good." Voices in his head driving him mad, his dough becoming unstable, unable to even hold a scalpel. Eventually it comes to a point he can no longer hide it any longer, his physical self matches his inner self.

"This was the only way. I had to do this. I've learned so much." Hollow words ring out, this isn't the man Toffee and Caramel once knew. The look of horror on their face once they discovered what he's done and what he's become. Molasses reaches for Caramel, hoping his niece would understand, but she acts defensively act cuts his hand off with a blade. His hand grows back, and his unstable mind feels betrayed for his efforts being for nothing as his brother would back away from him and his niece would dare swing at him, like he was a monster. Corruption fueling anger within him, he launches towards them. He continues to scream that this is for their own good and they need to let him help, but as the chase went on his words became more and more unintelligible, til he was roaring at them like an actual monster.

He is now a huge threat to the kingdom, people screaming and warriors getting their weapons out. Toffee and Caramel beg them not to hurt him, despite their own fear, he is still family. But there was nothing to be done, King Dark Cacao Cookie must think of his people first, so he has this beast chased out of the kingdom and into the depths of the Licorice Sea.

Molasses has become one with the sea, he can't even hear himself think anymore, he doesn't even know which voice is his.

So I made a second licofait kid, Licorice Syrup

I’m gonna be honest, I kind of forgot that she’s not just me making a second licofait kid and is instead Red Licorice’s replacement, but whatever. She does still replace Red Licorice I guess

So basically, Licorice Syrup here is a magician who uses sing based magic. I’m not entirely sure what her actual magic is, whether it’s necromancy or something different. I just knew how she’d use her magic and thought I’d figure it out along the way

Personality wise she reminds me of Trixie from MLP. She’s kind of a showboat and she acts incredibly confident. However her insecure side shows with enough pressure on her, and she’s not that much different from her dad in that sense

In my head, if she had a human name it’d be like, Sirena. Which I did pull from Venture Bros and I know isn’t a real name, but her powers remind me of sirens so I thought it fit. I suppose Serena works just as well, with it being like “serenade”

Also with the thing about sirens, I imagine her to be dating a mermaid, since I feel like that fits. Not sure how it happened but she is. Her girlfriend’s probably not another fankid, but rather someone else entirely

…*sigh* I’m sorry, this isn’t that good. Admittedly, she’s kind of been a thing I do in spare time over different intervals, and most of that time was yesterday when I was waiting for the volunteer event to start and waiting in line to pick up our stuff, so I wasn’t 100% focused on her. And so she’s a bit lacking in areas. This will also be relevant in the design section

Anyways, so her name comes from black licorice syrup. Which admittedly I wasn’t entirely sure was a thing but apparently it is. I came up with the name because licorice, and because Parfait has syrup in her pop star look (even if it’s not in her natural look), and ice cream (and I think parfaits) can have syrup in them

Originally her name was Black Syrup, which on one hand I still kind of like, but on the other, I realized after finishing her that I had recently come up with a new character called Dark Syrup, and the names are really similar so I changed her to Licorice Syrup since that’s still what she is

But yeah anyways, this is a picture of licorice syrup I found online

So I originally drew her in a rough sketch, just doing her hair, but as I recall the hair color itself didn’t look right, so I scrapped her at the time to come back to another day, which I eventually did. All I could really remember about what I wanted is that she’d have a similar color scheme to Licorice

Admittedly her final design may be a bit too plain. I tried to mitigate that with the light blue at the bottoms and with the skull pin, but she still might look too plain. But ah well

Speaking of the pin, I put that there to spruce up her head a bit, but then I forgot that she wears a hood, so I don’t really know how it works

I’m also not sure how I ended up with blue as her accent/secondary color, but I did. I guess it works with sirens and mermaids? It’s also why I made her eyes blue. I color picked them from Parfait’s pop star look, even though I know those are colored contacts, because they were nice and bright

I do wonder if I should have made her eyes a different color though, so that they can be an extra pop of color

Her hair was originally going to be all black, but I wanted to spruce it up a bit by having the ends white. The idea is that her hair is yogurt covered in licorice syrup. One of the main things I tried to do with Licorice Syrup even just starting out was that I wanted her hair and hair color to make sense, instead of just going from black to white for no particular reason like with Red Licorice, and I like to think I accomplished that

Overall while I recognize she may not be the best, I do still think overall I like what I did, and I hope you guys like her too
