The updated Lumii Family Tree~

I've been meaning to create a family tree for Lumii that was a bit more expanded outside of her direct family, so I finally settled on doing on.

(The different colors in the 'Alpha' titles means different flock alphas.)

Lightmare is also an older teen/very young adult and all of the 3rd gen are just kids~

i was gonna practice drawing sidewinders gang and just got distracted redesigning lightmares AWFUL outfit and also. figuring out if theyre supposed to be snakes or lizards or just weird goblins.

My last question may have been a bit too big for unraveling, so how about this one that I hope will be simpler: Do you think that Lightmare, the Special Zone antagonist from Sonic the Comic, would have left her criminally-insane father, Lord Sidewinder, under the right circumstances?

I get that she was genuinely loyal to him, but you’d think that if she recognized how completely obsessed he was with Super Sonic’s power, then she would’ve left him in the right moment.

Thoughts?

Given that she was a willing accomplice of his and only turned on him once it was clear he was getting into something way, way over his head with potentially apocalyptic consequences? I'm not sure what the 'right circumstances' could hypothetically be. We don't really have much of a clue about Lightmare's personality beyond the fact she IS loyal to her father and has limits, but otherwise we cannot guess at those limits.

I would imagine 'under the right circumstances', sure, she could turn her back on him... but if she came THIS far with her dad without turning on him despite him clearly being power hungry beyond reason, I'm not exactly certain what those circumstances could be.

Finally I have a drawing of Joy Lightmarer that I can show you all!! I’ve drawn it multiple times, but I finally drew one I’m proud enough of to post :)

I’ll post the silly doodles eventually, but have this for now!

EDIT: Also its mane is from a photo I took of my WHF Vinyl, and the position changes every time I draw it(aka it doesnt matter as long as it’s from the vinyl) so I’ll just put the pic under the cut ^^

Considering the fact that Lightning Nightmare drops from the sky at the beginning of the fight, does that imply that they were casually vibing in the sky in spear form... or could they fly-

Are Lumii’s siblings based off of your own, or are they just normal OCs?

The only things that are alike is the fact that Lumii has two brothers (like me), and the ages (Lumii being the oldest, Hunter being the 2nd oldest, and Lightmare being the youngest). Otherwise, all others in the family tree (sparing Journey) are just straight-up OCs.

On another note, in Totality, the bosses are also thrown on to Earth after TOFA destroyed their respective realms. (Aka, the map)

So now Old One and Summum is dealing with an influx of kids.

for context, Yin-Yang is like 14, the Duality fraternal twins is 10, Quimera is 6 and Adaptation is 4.

Toddler Edda and Aven are 2.

When the bosses were thrown onto Earth, everyone has aged up like three ish years.

anyway, Angel and Demon are 13, while Phoenix is 12, Unicorn is 11, Padalin is 10 and Lightmare is 9.

Ooooo, interesting.... And also oof. Rude of TOFA. Anyways, have fun being a parent with a herd of kids Summum!

Oooh my, this crew is pretty young then, even after the age up.

I'm also cackling over 13 year old Angel and Demon - just... those two with the attitudes of teenagers is viscerally frightening and absolutely hilarious.

It ends like this even if I would have liked to continue with the story.

I discovered a way to twocycle lightning nightmare!! This strategy does require all abilities so it's most helpful for the gauntlet. Strat is below the cut due to final ability spoilers

If you're in the gauntlet, you'll want as many techniques as possible and preferably a shield charge stored before entering the fight

Switch between Edda and Aven to ensure both have 2 techniques charged. Make sure to break defences to benefit from the extra time. If both have two techniques stored, move on to step 2.

Beat the everloving shit out of Lightmare with the intent of raising the absorption metre as high as possible. Make sure to break defenses to benefit from extra time. [If gauntlet] use a shield charge to prevent Lightmare from attacking you.

At the very last second, activate Glance of Tomorrow. If all steps are done correctly, this should auto absorb Lightmare. If not, Lightmare should be high enough absorption to defeat easily anyway
