Yes! he's basically a regular at Hueso's

He really wasn't allowed to eat sweets growing up, he had some when he sneaked out but they are like the yoaki version of sweets. His sweets and junk food do increse once he starts hanging out with his bros.

Probably didn't get everyone but y'know. If I missed anyone you wanna hear my thoughts on send an ask and I'll edit them in.

Also please remember I have little to no justification for any of this and some are based on other headcanons I have so feel free to disagree, and I'd love to hear your thoughts too!

Legoshi's favorite food is ass If you asked him he'd probably say peanut butter or antshakes or those egg sandwiches but Legoshi's actual favorite food is almost definitely grandpa's hot pot. It was a huge deal that his family could actually share it so it's a little bittersweet now but it's still like, a primal memory for him.

Jack likes peanut butter. He's a dog, and also a basic bitch.

Collot's favorite food is also ass definitely something English, but I don't think I can pick just one because he can't either. He's only been to Europe once or twice but his family brought all their recipes with them.

I couldn't tell you exactly what Durham's is either except that it's some snack he found at an import shop once and has only ever seen like 3 times in his life and he can't read Malay so he doesn't even know how to look it up online.

Miguno really likes American-style food, and I headcanon him as being super wealthy, so he probably knows some specific bistro in the outskirts of Paris that makes the BEST cheeseburger like you can't even imagine. He's 100% wrong about this but he'll swear by it.

Voss likes spicy stuff. His favorite food evolves as he gains more tolerance, he always liked hot stuff as a kid but as a teenager he's had more freedom to get and try like internet-challenge level spicy things. By the time he graduates he's casually monching on dried ghost peppers.

I think Haru's favorite food is listed on a character sheet somewhere but I don't remember it. In my head, she's a rabbit so she likes carrot greens. NOT the orange part, that's a stereotype.

Louis has his favorite food listed as celery and that's not entirely wrong but his real favorites are the things he wasn't allowed to have growing up; deep-fried festival food, salty fast food, junk food in general. His tummy's a little sensitive so it's probably good he never gets to have it, but that forbidden fruit angle makes it all taste so much better.

Pina will insist his favorite is something fancy, and he'll tailor his answer to whoever he's talking to, but in reality he loves cheap street food. He's always secretly super happy when a date ends up at some shithole ramen stand.

Bill's is a brand of energy/protein bars he's eaten like, every single day since he first started going to the gym. He likes food as like, a general concept, but doesn't have a very discerning pallet and doesn't appreciate most dishes. All the raman we see him eat in the series is out of convenience over preferance.

Aoba would probably like onigiri or udon. I think he's more into traditionally Japanese stuff than anything but shares Bill's problem of not actually knowing or caring that much about food. Probably made intricate bento boxes as a kid.

Kibi's is antshakes.

Tao's is real basic butter noodles. He was the youngest in a biiiig family and always felt like a burden so he tried to fend for himself as much as possible, it was the first and simplest thing he learned to cook so he ended up eating it a lot.

Juno canonically has a sweet tooth, so most any cake or candy. Can't say why but my first thought was also ceasar salad, she's not big on salads in general but it feels healthy and her dog side loves anything creamy and/or cheesy.

Kai's is his mom's curry, especially the leftovers because she would make huge amounts of it that'd feed the family for a week. He and his brothers would eventually figure out she did it to stretch their food budget when money was tight, so it also signalled when his family would start getting overcompensatingly nice and helpful and have a lot of quiet bonding time.

Dom subsists almost exclusively on syrupy 7 dollar coffees. If you really insist that that doesn't count as a favorite food he also eats a lot of flavored cricket snacks. Unlike Bill or Aoba he does actually care about food and flavors he just forgets to eat actual meals so often he hasn't formed many opinions.

Riz likes honey and baking so his favorites are all combinations of that. Something as simple as a fresh baked bun with some honey drizzled on it can mean so much, honey pancakes when he wants a quick pick-me-up, honey cakes for friends and events, etc.

Ibuki's favorite food was venison, I think that's canon, and I'm not gonna do any other shishigumi guy on this list but I think it's important to mention.

Melon's favorite food, if you can call it that, is miracle berry tablets. I don't think he discovered them til after he was in jail but he was gifted some once and he still didn't really taste but things didn't taste different which was mind-blowing enough.

Yahya's favorite is carrots, natch.

Gouhin I think literally only eats bamboo, he'd go fucking insane for meat though if he ever let himself try it.

Gosha, you think I'm gonna say the hot pot for the reasons above, but no his favorite is actually the traditional Rexmas meal, the soup and pie and volcano salad. Same reasons, though, it was one of the big family meals he could have with Toki and any other non-komodo friends, the holidays pulled him from his depression a bit and helps him socialize.

I want to hear more about these Sonic colors ideas especially the one about Orbot about getting into Eggman about his weight

I have a whole lot of ideas about this stuff involving Colors! I've been working on a post about him eating Wisps and also what his visits to Sweet Mountain were like, so I won't give the details of those away in this answer. But I can talk a bit more about his weight gain and how Orbot tried to handle it here!

Eggman wasn't sure how much he weighed before it because he hadn't been keeping track for a while, but he ended up gaining quite a bit and reached over 300 lbs thanks to his time spent at the park.

The weight came from eating a lot more often with bigger meals to reward himself for hard work and celebrate his dreams of the park all coming together. That, along with the way applied the 'all you can eat world' phrase to every planet where he offered food- except for the Bucket O’ Sushi restaurant because seafood doesn't sit well with him. His newly formed obsession with Wisp eating and the 'taste testing' of the Sweet Mountain supplies was also very fattening.

It was easy for Orbot to notice that he'd been trying to hold his growing belly back with his bodysuit and compress his bigger tits. That's why the material of his coat and bodysuit made stretching sounds in the cutscenes, because it was straining even tighter than usual. During a few trips to Tropical Resort and Sweet Mountain in particular, he wouldn't stop eating to the point that his clothes were so tight that he had to move very carefully in them.

As soon as Orbot noticed he was gaining weight too fast, he highly suspected that he was oblivious to just how much and knew it was going to be difficult to get it through to him. He was clearly caught up in the excitement of the Interstellar Amusement Park fun, so much that he was even acting like he was already living the luxurious life of victory he always wanted, even though he still had yet to take control of Sonic's world and make it the crown jewel.

So Orbot tried to do things in Eggman's preferred way first. He thought that if he allowed him to eat big but slightly healthier meals before trips to Sweet Mountain, he wouldn't eat as many sugary treats. But he couldn't have been more wrong because Eggman loves extra dessert and always finds room for more. In fact, one time he arrived after a big dinner and kept eating until his bodysuit split and exposed his even bigger belly that he'd been trying to hide for a while.

He was putting on pounds without checking his weight once and the changes became obvious by the way his clothes weren't fitting, how he was outgrowing chairs, and how he was having trouble adjusting to the gained weight. Orbot and Cubot no longer pretended to ignore it and poked fun by saying he looked as round as the planets, asking if he was pregnant, and laughing when his floating chair touched the floor when he was snacking on junk while lounging in it.

Eggman was upset and humiliated and Orbot toned it down when he realized it wasn't helping him understand. So he tried a gentler approach but Eggman still wasn't happy to hear it. He'd point out that his clothes were getting tighter but Eggman denied it and made up excuses. He'd ask if he realizes he's getting bigger and rounder but Eggman kept telling him he was exaggerating. Still, he'd keep making persistent little comments to make sure he wouldn't forget.

But he was just stubborn every time, so it got to the point where he finally needed to be direct and attempt to reason with him. He picked the worst time to do this because Eggman was busy making announcements over the speakers. When he was taking a break to drink and eat a few snacks, Orbot finally confronted him about it and told him that he really needed to do something about the weight he's been gaining. Eggman once again promptly refused and denied it.

But this time Orbot was determined so he kept going. He pointed out how he'd been so greedy by stuffing his face every day and how he looked like he was about to burst out his clothes because the buttons and zippers were barely holding on. He also pointed out one of the biggest signs of his floating chair being unable to hold his weight. And how even though he could still sit in it after adjusting the limit it could hold, it was starting to tilt again as he continued gaining.

Eggman was visibly getting more cross as he frowned and glared at him in disbelief because he considered his wording and descriptions to be very bold and rude. But Orbot assumed that was a sign he was getting through to him so he continued. There came a point where Eggman couldn't stand listening to the nagging for much longer and stood up to leave. That's when he realized he'd forgotten to mute the mic before his break.

The realization that the conversation played out over the speakers sent him into a panic and he scolded Orbot for being so inconsiderate, even though he was the one that forgot to mute the mic. Orbot was unfazed and used his reaction to emphasize his point, saying it wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't true. Eggman tried to snap back by saying it was a private matter that they can't just let the whole park hear, whether it's true or not.

He still wasn't going to admit that he needed to lose the weight so easily and Orbot expected that, but he was clearly the most embarrassed he'd seen him yet, evident by his deep blush and the way he rushed away for some privacy to calm down after. He hoped it would finally make him understand that it needs to be done, even if he didn't try getting on the diet until after attempting to mind-control the planet and making it the center of the park.

Eggman actually kept the weight for a while since Generations showed that after Colors, he left Orbot and Cubot in space after he discovered the Time Eater. But as soon as they got back and he was out of the white space, they pushed him to try another diet and start exercising again. They were also a bit harsher with the process, not only to make it more effective but also because they used it as payback for him leaving them in space.

He did need that extra push because it was one of the times he found it most difficult to lose the extra weight. Especially since after defeats, he usually wants to eat or drink to comfort himself and sometimes spends days in bed recovering from the failure and disappointment. But since he'd already gained far too much to be sitting around and eating, they didn't let him get lazy and got started on helping him lose it instead.

Chugging Along

Hello, bloggy friends. I don't have a single interesting thing to share with you, but I feel the need to fill this space every so often. I kind of miss the days when I had a lot to write about, but I was also spread a little thin in those days, and I don't miss that at all. This blog was definitely funnier and more interesting back then, sorry about that. I've been staying busy tending to gardens and trying to empty this house. Whyyy do we have so much stuff? Ugh, 40 years together and a couple of kids equals a whole lot of junk. Our house doesn't have great storage and I've gotten creative over the decades in order to keep things semi-orderly. Now that I'm emptying closets and going through boxes and bins I feel like tossing everything into the back yard and having a bonfire. There are so many items that we don't use daily but we don't want to part with, then there are sentimental items, kid related stuff, and so on. Add to that the necessary pieces that make a house a home and it's enough to make me crazy. Nothing would make me happier than a house where everything is labeled and in its spot (of course, I'd like it labeled in an adorable floral and gingham way). Today a fellow came by to measure the bedrooms for new carpet. It's one of the few things we'll do before putting the house on the market. We'll probably paint the porch, maybe touch up trim here and there. This house will sell itself just fine without any major changes. In order to install the carpet the bedrooms will be emptied. The easiest thing to do would be to keep them empty, sell what we want to sell, and store what we want to take. BUT it's quite possible we'll have kids home for a visit before listing the house, so we'll need those beds back in place. I feel like we're shoveling the walk while it's still snowing. We're not in a hurry to list. Might be in a couple of months, might not be until spring. The mister waffles on that daily. He's under a lot of pressure at work right now, so I just agree with whatever he says on any given day. I'm used to his constantly changing mind. He's got a sabbatical coming up in October and he has said he'd like to use that time to move. I think he needs the vacation more. I'm pretty sure that the housing market will stay strong in our area, if we listed in early spring we'd probably make the same tidy profit. We'd also allow ourselves more time to prep for a move. That might give us time to build rather than buy at the other end. You can bet that any house we might build would have storage out the wazoo. I don't need a big house (not until Dyson debuts a riding vacuum ), I just need a well-designed house. Are you bored to death yet? Told you I didn't have much to write about. Here's something wonderful - my hydrangeas have never looked better!

Also, it's starting to look like I'm going to have a thousand cucumbers. I had a couple of little pickle bush plants and I wasn't sure they were doing well, so I picked up a little potted cucumber plant at Lowe's and stuck it in one of the raised beds. Now all of the plants are going nuts and producing little cukes left and right. We love crisp cucumbers in salads and just for snacks, but I may be driving around after dark sticking cucumbers in mailboxes.

How adorable are baby cucumbers?

This is the first time I've grown San Marzano tomatoes, and I'm only growing them for pizza sauce - supposedly they're the best, though I think that may refer to the San Marzano tomatoes grown in the volcanic soil around Mt. Vesuvius, not in my raised bed in Tennessee. They grow in long clusters and I'm finding them very interesting. Crossing my fingers for some stellar sauce.

The green pepper plants have birthed their babies too, and they're so stinkin' cute.

All of the herbs are healthy, and the lavender and speedwell are hosting bees.

Our little patch is an absolute delight right now. I love my gardens. I can't imagine not having a little space to grow things. I'm so happy when I'm out pulling a few weeds or giving things a drink. Occasionally I pet a fuzzy bee (they don't mind), or I watch the birds splash in the bird bath and make use of our feeders, and all is right in my world. There's usually a cat snoozing on the deck while I putter and that's exactly how it ought to be.

When I'm making my silly cards my desk is situated for optimum viewing of the gardens and the activity of birds, bunnies, squirrels, and deer. I love it.

Not a great pic snapped through that old screen - and a certain cat puts herself front and center the moment I pull my phone out to get a shot. You can just see the edge of my desk in front of her. She can be mid-nap in a sunbeam but she senses a photo op and pops her head up. Uncanny. So that's it. That's why I haven't blogged. Because no one wants to hear about cleaning out closets and talking to birds and cats. I'm so content in my little world but there's not much happening here. There's music, flowers, books, and good food...what else do you need? Maybe we'll get really wild and light a sparkler or two on the 4th of July, or maybe I'll completely lose control and make a dessert. Stand by for that riveting post! Just kidding, I'm actually taking some pics of products I love that I'm going to share with you. I'll get my thoughts together and share that tomorrow. It won't be any more interesting than this post but perhaps you'll find something you like. Hope so!
