It's been three months since our fight and that's also three months she been staying with Sylvie and I really miss her if I hadn't said those things to her I probably wouldn't be sleeping alone every night. And I've tried apologizing she ignores me I lock her in my office to get one on one she let me kiss her but still won't talk to me I try asking everyone for advice but they give me the stank eye for what I did well everyone except Stella she's the only person who would talk to me. But she's the reason I'm in this mess in the first place so taking advice from her probably isn't a good thing. Hey Kels what's on your mind Stella asked with a worried expression. Nothing much Stella I'm just trying to get Y/n to forgive me but I wouldn't have to be doing this if you would of just stayed away from me I would probably still have my girl

^Wow are you really blaming me for caring about you. I was just checking up on you it was a tough call and if Y/n can't see it that way then she's not a good girlfriend.

What Stella was saying was making sense all she was doing was making sure I was okay Y/n is overreacting. So I'm done trying to apologize.

It's been awhile since our fight and Kelly has been trying to apologizing Obviously I haven't accepted his apologies because what he said really hurt I dont think I can forgive him yet.

I came into work with Sylvie expecting Kelly to there with some flowers or something but he wasn't he was sitting at the squad table laughing at something cap said turned and looked at me then back at the squad members which confused me first he was apologizing now he's not. It's kind of concerning Maybe he's done apologizing And ready to move on then I see Stella go over and then starts talking to Kelly and them. I walked away knowing what's happening Stella probably told him something that's why he stopped apologizing.

Sylvie pov

I see Y/n walking away from the scene in front of us I walked over to the squad table and looked between Kelly and Stella. Kelly you're gonna lose a really great, kind, amazing, sweet, loving, and caring girlfriend is you don't start seeing what Stella is doing to your relationship. And I know deep down you don't want that and for you to sit here and try to ruin a good relationship is fucked up and you know what Stella I really thought you were a good person never would hurt anyone especially here we are family and just to betray someone like that just to get their boyfriend is really really fucked up.

No what is fucked is that Y/n took in the wrong way Stella was just making sure I was okay it was a tough call you know you were there .

Yea I was it was a tough call for everyone even Y/n you know the body they found after the fire was put out was a person Y/n couldn't save and she was right there Matt had to pull her out fire because the building was gonna explode. That's why that day she went straight to put her things up she was crying her eyes out and you were here with Stella being a bad boyfriend not the other way around. I walked away not being able to keep my cool.

Y/n pov

Hey are you okay? I heard Sylvie ask

Not really what if my relationship is over?! It can't be over Kelly is the first guy to ever make me feel loved and that I'm not such a burden to everyone he actually cares about me I dont want that to be over I started crying Sylvie hugged and and said hey it's not over and if does leave you for her then he's not worth the tears. We make it to a house fire then a women is heard scerming for her son the house fully engulfed in flames chief Boden doesn't want anyone going in because it was already unstable but the lady is begging us to save her son that his name was oliver I knew I was gonna get in trouble for this but I ran into the house calling for Oliver no reply then I saw him laying there passed I froze for a second because I saw the man I didn't save on the call three months ago but then I heard my name being called it was Matt and Kelly i snapped out my daze and grabbed the kid made it to Matt and Kelly and ran out the building we watched as it collapsed his mother come running to us Matt stopped her as Sylvie and Violet were working on him he didn't have a pulse. I was silently praying he would make it. Sylvie looked at me and shook her head letting me know he didn't make Matt let the mom go she was screaming in agnoy Sylvie was comforting her I walked pass everyone. Everyone was tapping me on the shoulder everyone except Kelly and Stella. I went behind our truck then started crying we all got in our assigned trucks and went back to 51 as soon as we get there I went somewhere private to calm myself down then Sylvie found me and told chief Boden was looking for me.

Kelly pov

Y/n just loss another victim and she just walked past everyone and they all patted her shoulder but I didn't neither did Stella which is understandable. Then as soon as we got to the firehouse she went off to her little private room to calm herself down. I was gonna go talk to her but Stella pulled me into my office and started to talk to me

Do you really think she's gonna let you comfort her you yall are still fighting and she probably won't even acknowledge you Stella said. I don't care Stella she just lost another victim and this time it's a kid and right now I don't care if she doesn't want me there she still my girlfriend and I love her. Wow you still love after three months of not talking to you she probably doesn't even love you anymore so why don't you move on Kells to someone who won't do that to you like me I will never shut you out. Then it hit Stella was really trying to break us up why was I so blinded by that I should of noticed it three months ago. You should leave Stella, all this time you've been getting really close to me and now I notice how you were trying to break us up I really hope I didn't mess this up. Whatever Kelly you're missing out on what could've been something amazing. But go back to your bitxh. DON'T CALL HER THAT!!!! I yelled at Stella the real bitxh here is you. Stella slapped me then walked away. I went to look for Y/n and try to get her forgiveness. I saw Sylvie and asked where she was cause she's not in her little room. Hey Sylvie where's Y/n I need to talk to her it's really important. She's is Boden's office he wanted to talk to her about something. Thanks Sylvie I went to chief Boden's office then I heard yelling from both chief and Y/n. Then Y/n comes out tears on her face and stops and looks at me. Hey are you okay what happened in there. I just got suspended for what I did at the last call my night can't get shitter than this unless you are here to break up with me she said. No I'm not here to do that I'm here to actually here to tell that I'm sorry for what I did and for not seeing it sooner I'm sorry for not listening to about Stella and what her intentions were. She looks st with shock then comes too. Kelly I'm glad you finally see what she was doing we can talk more about this later but right now I just need leave with tears still running down her face. She walked off and went to collect her things and said bye to everyone as soon as she left I went straight to talk to Boden.

My Thoughts on Tower of God Season 2 Episode 3

Woo hoo I am finally reacting to an episode blind! This post will contain my initial thoughts on the episode! I heard it was not that great so I am nervous!

WEBTOON SPOILERS WAS TEASED BUT NOT OUTRIGHT STATED

Rating: 6/10

Summary: Quality dipped a bit. Music was still amazing, but some scenes were cut or changed when they really didnt have to be. Overall, the episode felt awkward due to movements feeling stiff and slow.

Hehe the cheek pinching scene was funny.

Hmm I don't like how they did this scene. They treated this as a one-off comment. But if I remember correctly, they were all looking outside and when Goseng made that remark, everyone looked away. I loved that scene a lot because they all wish they can stop climbing but they have things that are just far more important to them. Everyone knows about the stress and dangers, but they have no choice. Anyway not a huge fan with the change in tone they had for this line.

uh. This might sound a bit nitpicky but am I the only one who found this part off? like the lines are meant to show that he was alarmed. But everything felt so stiff and awkward. like an image with line effects on the side. It didn't give off the feeling it intended to give off, at least in my opinion.

Hmm its by no means, BAD. But... I wouldn't say it looks GREAT either. I feel like the movements feel a bit too stiff to really portray the urgency and desperation of this test, especially Viole vs Love.

AAAAAAAAAAH ITS HAPPENING PLEASE PLEASE NAIL THIS. I HOPE THEY PORTRAY THE TONE AND EMOTIONS PERFECTLY AT LEAST.

Okay so overall, I can see where the criticism is coming from. Viole vs Love looked a bit awkward, and I think next episode will look a bit awkward as well If I remember the trailer correctly. I do think people are overreacting some aspects regarding the show's quality, but I do agree with some of them. The direction of some of the scenes feel too stiff or awkward. In addition, a lot of scenes were cut or changed, which could've really made the test more intense.

However, despite all this, I haven't lost hope in this adaptation yet. I am just keeping my expectations in the middle, not too low, not too high. Because the moment I saw that the only fight they showed in the trailer that was well animated was from the first episode, I had a feeling that the studio would want to allocate their resources on more demanding scenes, like a certain fight after this arc....

I do hope that the direction of the anime improves at least and that more camera angles and movements are used even if they are just talking!

New episode is in a few hours....I hope it can bring some TOG fans back!

Nik is in bad shape like tortured and stuff but Price saves him they kiss but nik wont remembers because he's delirious

Sometimes being unconscious is a blessing. Because then you at least don't feel the pain but Artyorm would not let him have this. Would not let him have a moment of piece. Everyday till XX caught him was worse then the last one. Honestly he knew when he agreed to the deal that he won't survive it and he dont think its because Kate don't want to pull him but more that they won't let her. So even when the first people got suspicious of him and he didn't leaked any information as a safety precautions for a while, he still got caught. He dont even know how painless breathing feels like, but still he didn't tell them anything. They still think he works for the Russian government and he just never disagreed with them. "Nik, c'mon just tell me, so I don't have to ruin your pretty face", Artyorm says only getting a stuborn look as answer. A fist is colliding with his cheek makes his head snap to the side and for some reason he still has fight in him left. "So now I'm pretty again huh, but noy pretty enough to not replace me the second you think I won't return", Nik spats out getting his nose broken for it. Artyorm is leaning in forcefully grapping his hair, pulling some hairs out the force he's using making Nik his in pain. And that is what he thinks pisses them of the most not one's did he scream since his personal hell began nearly 10 days ago. "Is that why your a fucking rat because your jealous?", Artyorm wispers in his ear, rage and disgust coating his voice. "Does your ego need a stroke that desperately?", Nik asks back smug, knowing that Artyorm is getting frustrated with him not breaking. Another punsh and his nose makes a horrible crunching sound and then flood is surging from his now doppel broken nose. Somebody else is entering the warehouse they brought him two days ago. For the first time Nikolai is actually afraid, because Sasha entered the room, what ever time Artyorm was give to break him was up. Sasha looks over him displeased over how uninjured he appears, but Artyorm used brutal force, if he wouldn't wear a shirt you could see the gigantic black bruises all over his torso and back. "Treated your boy toy quiet well Artyorm, what makes Artyorm rip the shirt if Nikolai to show of his work. Sasha is pressing a finger against his rips causing Nik to squirm and hiss in pain. "Just tell us the name of your handler", Sasha says in a bored tone, like he has other places to be and better thinks to do, but his eyes are betraying him showing how exited he his to hurt Nik. To get the information out of him with all means deemed necessary.

Nik still haven't screamed in pain yet. And he has a concerning amount of knifes in his body now. "Tough littel rat aren't you", Sasha hisses angry, before leaving the room, probably to get new weapons. He returns with a bucket. Nik frowns then the shirt that Artyorm ripped of him is placed over his face. The chair is bulled back a bit so it only stands on the back legs. "Remember to breath", is all what Sasha says before purring some of the water in the bucket over Nik coverd face. He starts to cough instantly starting to panic because he can't breath probably. "Who is your handler?" If he never has to hear this question ever again it would still be to early. He will not say anything, he stalled a lot of time as well. Time in that Kate and John would try to find him, he has to hope the two trying to find him when they learn his cover blow. Well Kate would annoy Jonathan in to helping her of duty, but well he also would look. The piece of cloth gets removed from his mouth, he desperately takes several deep breaths, before coughing from the water he breath in, in his panic. Sasha makes a tsk sound before his mouth is again covered. Ever time water gets pured over his face is worse then the last one, but then finally the bucket is empty meaning he might gets a break from this. "You could have been a really valuable member for the cause, you know if you weren't so intressted in being Artyorms play thing. Shame that your just a traitor, somebody that can't understand our goals." "Thats because you never tell anyone what the goals are, can't understand things if they don't get explained properly", Nik coughs the sentence out. "We need a new elite, after the Revolution that replaced the weak monarchy fought so that just as week people can take over. But we we are strong, we can lead this country so much better." "For that you need survive the attempt to over throw the government first. Because if you fail you end up in the siberia to never been seen again." Nik paid a painful price for speaking the truth. Some of the knifes getting rearrange, moving from mainly his legs towards his arms and shoulder. He's still coughing up water every time he makes a sound he ends up having a coughing fit.

Nik dont know how long Sasha left him alone bleeding and coughing. The sun is setting when he returns and he looks angry. One of the knifes is brutaly ripped out of his arm to be just as brutal being ramed in his thight. He screams for the first time in 10 days. Sasha makes a pleased sound at this, before pulling all the knives out for now. Then his hands get cut free from the armrest. Bloddy cuts around his wrist. He gets pushed to the ground before his hands are ones again restrained. "It's very easy everytime I cut you you count them or say the names of your handler, if you take to long we restart at the first cut", Sasha explains giddy, clearly enjoying this. "Understood ", Nik says, he can do this, he just needs to count how hard can it be? Was it not for the bruises he would not have noticed he when got cut. The knife going through his skin like butter. "One", Nik says while the cut is keep going. "Smart one", the other mutters more to himself but Nik will slip up they all do eventually. "Twenty", Nik groans and then his blood frezzes when he hears the two slow. No No he didn't slow down, the cut wasn't even finished yet just like the others. The recuting stinks but how many recurs can he handel, the new cuts not just cutting the surface of his skin, going deeper, will go even deeper the next restart. "One." Tears are slowly gathering in Niks eyes, the pain just to much, he's still able to not sob the number. "Sixteen." "Restart." Nik knows that Sasha in the end can just restart when ever he pleases. "ONE", he screams in pain, the cut getting deeper again. The tears start running down after the 5th cut for this round, he's still not sobbing he will not give this psycho the satifcation of that. He trys not to scream to much, he needs his voice for as long as possible. He starts sobs after they restart after 25 cuts, the worst is he really is considering to just tell them. They sent him into his dead, he don't need to be loyal to them anymore. "One", he sobs and hears a satisfied noice from Sasha. "Twoo.. you're getting off on this aren't you?" It's just two cuts if they restart don't matter this much now. The sound of metal hitting the ground are sounding through the empty room. Then it burns it burns so badly while some sort of powder is put on his back. He screams in agony, wants to crawl forward away from what ever is hitting his back. A brutal grip his stopping him from doing this. Then the buring stops and he leans forward while crying it hurts so bad. He feels how his body try to pull him back into unconsciousness, but then a ice cold liquid is pured over him. "No passing out the only way this stops either you talk or you die, Nikolai", Sasha says while using one of the other knives he pulled out of his victim, that is pathetically shaking in front of him, from being in pain and because he's starting to freeze.

"TEN", Nikolai screams and then suddenly hear screams from outside. Sasha steps away and Nik just falls to the site. Ugly crying from the pain he's feeling. He owns Kate nothing and still he can't betray her. Knowing she's just following orders, Kate cares or atleast pretends like she does. Always telling him to be careful and she hopes they can get him out soon. He won't get out, blood starting to form a puddle that run out of the deep cuts if his back. He's starting to feel tired and he's so cold, what a miserable death. He is losing the feeling of how much time passed, but Sasha is gone for a while now. Each breath is taking more energy, his eye lids are so heavy and he dont think he was ever this tired. He dont even registers the sound of gun shots or how cold he his, his body is shutting down one function after the other.

Price kickst the door open of the last warehouse of the location Nikolai gave them and stops breathing for a moment. A bloody body laying in the middel of the room. And he just knows it's Nikolai. He and Bravo-3 are rushing towards the man, the least they can do is recover his body. Bravo-3 is feeling for a pulse frowning stripping his glove to feel again. "He's still alive", Bravo-3 says after feeling a weak pulse. "Bravo-0 we found the informant he's in critical condition we need a exfile ASAP", Bravo-3 talks in the radio while Price trys to get the Russian to open his eyes. Nik groans when he opens his eyes a tiny little bit. His vision is blurry and he only sees a blob in front of him. "Nik... lai..", the voice sounds like its coming out of a shitty radio he opens his eyes a bit more and the blob is becoming human shaped. "Nikolai", the voice is still strange but also oddly familiar, this must be what ever his brain decides to show him in his last moment. "Mom?", he asks the blob his brain slowly focusing his eye sight. "No, Nikolai, keep your eyes open we get you out of here", the voice says and he struggles to understand it because of a British accent. The human shape is slowly turning in to a man. He vaguely remembering he saw him before, but he dont know where, but if his brain decides to hallucinate a guy before is death he won't complain. "Jonathan?", he mutters in his curent state he has no idea where this name even comes from. "Yes." He trys to say something but he dont make a sound so the man is leaning in closer. If he wasn't on the verge of death he would have registered the warm air hitting his face. "Goodbye", Nikolai wispers before giving a short and weak kiss on the other man's mouth. The world is replaced by darkness.

It's been about two nights since the incident at the coffee shop, and you haven't really put much thought into the aftermath of what you did. After all, he hasn't blocked you yet, so there's still hope.

However, tonight he's not online, much to your disappointment. With a sigh, you prepare to log out when something catches your eye. You see Thiomi sign into trollian, and before you even get the chance to blink, a message window opens with her contacting you.

Thinking back on it, he never threatened you or even called you a single name. He was really fucking annoyed and mad at you, but technically you showed aggression first.

You're quiet for what's probably way too long because you know Thiomi's not going to like the answer. Not that you have to even give her one. Your silence is answer enough.

You may have just destroyed any progress you made. Sure, he never answers your calls or replies to your messages, but he hasn't blocked you. That means he's at least listening when you try to contact him. You've been giving him updates on how your sobriety is going and the progress you're making in addition to apologizing and begging him to talk to you.

What if he was starting to come around, and then he sees you...

The message notification beep from your husktop snaps you out of your thoughts.

I've seen white water rafting and no no no. It looks scary especially with the big rocks. I actually went fishing when I was in Georgia during the summer. I enjoyed it, but I don't know the difference between the those.. my mom just gave me a stick with the string on it and then we were on the dock just chilling waiting for a bite.

I haven't tried axe throwing yet, it's on my list for next year though. And yes! I've heard of that break room thing. I think there is one here, but not sure. It looks fun, I want to try that too and just take a bat a break everything.

yes, she is in NC but I dont know where in NC she is. I don't know that there is an outage nor if it happens near where she is because to be honest, I havent talked to her since thanksgiving which is sad :( and what's worse is, today is her birthday too. ah okay, well, I looove fishing. I have tried fresh water fishing to catch some Bass fish. My favorite is deep sea fishing to catch different kinds of tuna or yellowtail or mahi mahi. I love the intense feelings when I was trying to reel the fish in but the fish fight. It's like a strategy game so ur line wont break. I think the biggest I've caught is mahi mahi fish / dorado. it's pretty fish, try google it :D. the one i caught was 15lb and 4 ft in size. it took 20 minutes for me to reel it in. The fish bit my bait n I was in the back part of the boat, n that fish move around so i have to follow it. By the time I caught it, I was already in the front part of the boat. lol.

Tuna is a different fighter. They tend to swim or dive down deeper super fast when they fight after bit the bait. So it's heavier to reel it in.

I have also tried fly fishing, it's a different way of fishing. n I caught different kind salmon. I went to Alaska to do it. It was fun, fly fishing is more calming and relaxing because you do it in the river and just keep casting the fake fly bait again n again until the fish bite it.

Rock bottom fishing is fun but kinda tricky, because u let your bait fall down so deep and u hv to keep the bait "moving or jumping a bit" by moving the pole up n down gently n when u catch it, it's heavy n take a longer time because of the weight u put on the bait n it was all the way down.

I really wanna try ice fishing and spare fishing. But i can never do spare fishing because i can't swim. lol.

Sorry, i know u didn't ask anything about fishing but I ramble about it. I didnt mean to be sound like a know-it-all. I just love fishing and I miss it. I havent go fishing for a while but i love talking about it :D even though i dont know much and just talk about it from what i hv experienced.

i truuuuuly cannot understand where they are going with vegaspete?? like i know they’re waiting to set it up later (but why wait THIS long?? especially since vegaspete could really be driving the whole evil!vegas thing) but i dont understand why they’re not even setting it up yet. like sure we’ve barely seen them interact, but i feel like even in the times that we DO, the writers/directors make no effort to make it seem like there is a deeper story to tell here. if i didn’t know vegaspete were a thing in the novel, and that the show has explicitly marketed them as a relationship that will be explored, i feel like i wouldn’t think there was anything going on between them at all?? like every interaction they’ve had has just felt like them interacting as just the sum of the parts, pete as a bodyguard, and vegas as kinn’s cousin. this could also be because the writers are pushing vegas’ obsession with porsche rn (and maybe that’s what drives him to pete in the first place idk i literally know nothing about them from the novel) but i feel like the writers could be planting seeds and leaving breadcrumbs to set up the inevitable story between them, but we’re just not seeing any of that at all :/ (this could also me being greedy and impatient because i just want them to have more screentime lol)

Alright, I have to admit that I'm still a bit worried about this whole thing gbrudgdyd but for different reasons. VegasPete is a MESS in the novel (I haven't read it but I know the authors couldn't even handle KinnPorsche as well as the show's doing so far, so...), and I'm very curious to see what they changed to make it work.

But will they make it work? 🥲

I don't think they're taking too long to establish their storyline, but it all depends on how they're gonna handle it in the next episodes, so in hindsight I could change my mind. This is a very very slow burn, and for a reason: Vegas is not only an important character for his own storyline, but also for Kinn and Porsche's. He's the involuntary catalyst for their relationship: he makes Kinn jealous, he forces him to confront his paranoia, and then forces Porsche to do the same. How could he do all of this if he was busy falling for someone else?

Also his obsession with Porsche tells us a lot about him as well. I don't think he really likes him. There's probably attraction involved, because of course there is 💀 but I think it's less about Vegas and Porsche and more about Vegas and Kinn. It's all a game, a power play that Vegas keeps losing over and over again. Vegas wants what Kinn has, and so he tried to get Porsche to himself, but what will he do now that his chances of succeeding are ruined? He's gonna snap.

So this opens the road to VegasPete nation 😎 and exacerbates the conflict between the two sides of the family, which I guess will drive the second half of the story? I have no idea 💀

So to me the set-up seems good enough so far, meaning that everything can still work if they make good use of their time in the second half, which I hope will be the case gfunrifbeye

They established pretty well that there's some kind of tension between Pete and Vegas: their scenes clearly hint at a future development of their relationship because they would be useless otherwise. They don't add much to the story.

What they do, is letting us see Pete's reactions whenever Vegas is around. He's obviously on edge, he tries to make himself look as innocuous as he can, becoming all dumb smiles and even dumber excuses. But then we saw how he acted when Vegas started torturing that man 👀 so what's Pete hiding? Was he wary in that scene, was he interested? What goes on in his head?

Vegas is not really interested in Pete at the moment. Even in the novel, from what I've read around Tumblr, he only starts being interested after the kidnapping. He has no reason to before. It's what he sees in Pete once he gets his hands on him that gets to him and makes him grow attracted and then attached to him, I think.

So what I'm trying to say is that there's no VegasPete until THERE IS. Their story starts and grows in a very specific setting and situation.

So yeah, I think we have yet to see their storyline start because up until now they had to dedicate most of their time to other stuff, and they couldn't jump straight into the kidnapping. But once that happens we're in for a wild ride.

The incessant beeping of your alarm tugs you out of your dreamless sleep.

The sticky tears on the ground remind you of yesterday’s events, but you disregard them. All you want to do is take a shower, throw on your jacket and get out the door. You slowly clamber up off the ground and across the living room to turn off the alarm. After making sure it’s not on snooze, you drag your sore body to the shower. It smells like smoke and lots of cleaning supplies. This place is fucking gross. Is it even monday?’ you check the calendar. It is, in fact, monday. You strip and turn the shower handle.

You're so glad that you chose to wake up early. Usually kids this far from school drive or get picked up by the bus, but you prefer to use your skateboard. That’s why you get up at 6:30, so you have enough time to get ready and get to school on time. Sanity’s fall quietly played as you washed your breakfast plate and cup, brushing grease residue off the greyish porcelain. You wonder if Sal is awake yet. Probably not. You know, waking up early ensures that you won't see him in the morning. The guy’s not that bad, his eyes just freak you out a little.

Pulling the pink glove off your prosthetic, you wipe your hands with a towel and move to the closet to put your shoes on.

“Jacket, jacket, jacket, jacket.” you mumble, eyebrows knitted. “Where are you?” oh, right, you left it in your room.. With poppy. Was that even her name? You kind of just decided it for her.

You can hear her squeals as you leave the apartment. You decide to take the elevator because you don't feel like running down the stairs with a heavy ass bag on your back.. Stepping in, you press the main floor button. It looks like there’s a bit of sticky stuff around it. gross. Syrup? You hoped so.

The elevator dings and you step out, heading out the front doors. It’s cloudy. Again. Not a surprise, really. Keeping your eyes on the gravel, you set down your skateboard and begin your journey to school.

“What is it? Spit it out, sally dude.” he pulled the cigarette out of his mouth and puffed the smoke out the window.

“Woah, sally face. Calm down or you’ll go bald.” larry’s hands pulled mine off my pigtails. Huh, i didnt even notice.

“Thanks, dude. I think we’re here.”

Your point of view:

It was around eight o’clock by the time you arrived. Kids were already piling out of buses and cars, standing by the school’s entrance and conversing with their friends. You definitely felt some eyes on you. That was expected, though. They didnt recognize you, and nockfell didnt seem like a town with many new people. Thinking back to yesterday, sal and larry mentioned some bully kid. Probably wouldnt be hard to spot him.

“Watch it, goth freak!” a pair of hands gripped onto your shoulders.

Ah, what a coincidence.

“Get the fuck off me, fucking prick.” he twitched as you gripped onto his hands and pushed him away.

“Is that a metal hand? Ha, you’re a fucking cripple! How pathetic.” he chuckled. Blond hair draped itself across his forehead, definitely not complimenting the purple shade of his shirt and eye. School fight? or daddy issues? Who knows. I mean, you’re not one to speak, your dad’s literally dead.

“Let me guess, you’re that bully fucker they talked about. God, isnt there enough troubled kids in Nockfell?” you rolled your eyes, just wanting to get to school.

When you said you had bad luck, you really meant it, because all of a sudden, his fist landed on your face.

Sighing in disbelief, you reached out to your gushing nose.

At this, travis bolts. You drop your bag and get back on your skateboard, weaving through the crowd to get to that shrimpy little fuck.

“I’m so fucking done with nockfell.” blood trails down the side of your face as you lock your eyes on the blond mop of hair in front of you.

The skateboard shoots out beneath you as you kick off. He lets out a strangled cry as you land on his back and send him to the concrete. A few whoops can be heard from the kids far behind you.

He doesnt say anything. You slowly climb off, keeping a hand on his neck.

“Larry, c’mon, we have to go get her off!” i try pulling him away, but he doesnt budge.

Larry frowns as i drop my bag and begin running towards them. I’m not letting her get in trouble on the first day. I hear her say something to him as i come closer.

You look back at travis. There’s a visible blush on his face, and he’s staring straight at sally.

Your expression darkens for a second, all of a sudden feeling possessive of your skateboard. He’s not touching it. It was your dad’s.

“No. Take my bag or something.” you nod towards it by the entrance of the school, where it sits. He obeys and gets up to pick up your bag. You pull travis up with you, blood dripping down your shirt and an arm around his shoulders. Sal’s quite a bit away at this point.

“You gay?” you hum. Travis’s back straightens and fear flashes through his eyes. How did you know? How the fuck did you know?

"Where is your boy toy.." His tongue slides across his bottom lip

You kept silent while negan stared you down waiting for a response but nothing came out his eyes were burning a hole through you he always knew when shit was up.

"Ah i see....the silent treatment" folding his arms

Negan walks off to go play with ellie and say hello to a few people when your mother walks up to you.

"Hey mom..." You say emotionless

"What is negan doing here.." She asks

"Mom...please dont. Thats ellies dad. I told you we are trying to work on things for ellies sake" you say annoyed.

"Well...once a cheater always a cheater. Im just saying" as she sips on her cup of wine walking away

A few hours have passed and ellie got to blow out her candles and eat cake. Jack still hasnt said much to you throughout the whole party and its more than obvious that negan is starting to catch on im just hoping he doesn't notice the hicky on his neck. Ellie has been bugging you about negans gift so you were going to let her open it.

"Ellie open it up over here sweetie so everyone can see" you say smiling

Ellie quikly rips the hot pink rapping paper off and squeals in excitement as she realizes its a electric scooter that she has been wanting. Negan was standing by your side with his hand sneakily rested on your lower back with a huge smile on his face.

"Oh my god you got me that scooter!!" Ellie begins jumping up and down

"Negan....those cost alot" you whispered in his ear

"dont worry about it....i got it taken car of" he says sternly

"Lets take it outside!!" Negans runs over and picks it up in excitment with all of the kids following him outside to ride on the scooter. You were throwing away dirty plates when jack came up to you

"So you want to explain why you and negan have been so close" he quietly says to you

You instantly start to burn with rage as he asks you that knowing he has been keeping things from you too and the fact his assistant melissa has been speaking to him inappropriately. You were holing the knife in your hand for cutting the cake reminding you of the incident that happened between you and negan once you found out he was cheating. you froze and gripped tightly on the knife thinking of how to approach this.

"You're a fucking whore..." He spat at you

"Jack.....get the fuck away from me" you quietly say

"Yeah i bet thats what you want.....so he can fuck you" he says through gritted teeth

"Its. Ellies. Birthday.....fucking knock it off we can settle this later" you slowly set the knife down unclenching your fist

Jack stands there glaring at you with his jaw clecnhed before giving up and walking away. You let out a sigh of relief and pour yourself a glass of wine. You take a sip closing your eyes feeling like everything is going in slomotion in that moment when you here yelling outside and notice its negan and jack. You drop your glass spilling your wine everywhere running outside.

"Back the fuck off man!" Jack yells with his fist balled up

"Ohh...you really want to go there dude..." Negan laughs

"You are fucking (y/n) and i know it!" Jack lunges towards him throwing a punch hitting negan in the face making him stumble

Negan catches his balace reaching up to his face touching where jack punched him in the mouth realizing he is bleeding negan licks the blood off his lips and lets out a sinister almost scary deep chuckle.

"Oh...you fucked up." Negan lunges towards jack football tackling him to the ground he starts punching jack over and over again blood all over his fists

"Negan!!!...no! Stop!" You rush over trying to pry negan off of jack

"Negan stop for ellie please!" You begin to cry struggling to finally get him off causing you to fall backwards with negan on you

"You are a dead fucking man!....now get the fuck off my property..." Negan threats

You push negan off to go check on jack you try to get jack to respond to you and see if he is okay but he just spits in your face shoving you away causing you to fall before you know it negan charges back over and starts beating the shit out of him all you can do is scream at them and cry. Through tear filled eyes you notice the cops rushing up the street pulling into the drive way the last thing you remember is the cops pulling negan off and everything went black.

Jack and negan were both arrested but were soon let go apparently i had fainted due to stress and dehydration they kept me in the hospital until i was better. You kicked jack out of the house and you haven't spoke to negan since ellies birthday. Things have been rough being alone for ahwile and ellie was getting upset about not seeing her dad.

Text from negan:

Hey....im coming by

You looked at your phone to see a text from negan but you just ignored it and continued to cook some food for ellie. There was a knock at the door you sighed annoyingly before unlocking the deadbolt and opening the door to negans innocent brown eyes staring back at you. before you could give him a chance to speak you shut the door in his face but he quickly caught it in time with his foot in the doorway before it closed.

"Negan...ellie should be home. She is still upset" you sigh

"Thats okay i want to make it up to you two" he says pushing the door open coming inside

You just stand there silent with your arms crossed untill you hear ellies bus coming down the road and before you know it she busts through the door yelling.

"Mommmyyyy! Happy mothers dayzz!" Ellies runs up to you handing you a picture she made at school

"Awe...thank you sweet heart its gorgeous" you took the pink paper from her smiling and when to hang it on the fridge

"Look i want to take you two out to dinner...its mothers day and you deserve it..look i know i fucked up but that asshole had it coming" negan says

"Negan dont.....go ask Ellie she is the real one you need to be apologizing to not me" you stare at the ground avoiding eye contact.

"Ohh ellie daddy wants to talk to you!" He walks off to her room

You, negan, and ellie were all out at dinner at your favorite steakhouse enjoying your meal when the waiter brought a bottle of wine

"Negan....i cant afford that" you quietly say

"Ah ah....you deserve it i mean you are the best mom ever" he winks at you popping the lid off pouring wine into your glass

"Thanks..." You shyly say before taking a sip

"So.....the school fired me" negan cleared his throat

You choked on your drink hearing the words that had just came out of negans mouth

"What?..how come" you say wipping wine off your chin

"Well....they dont want me as a coach anymore since what happened at ellies birthday. They say its wildly inappropriate and against policy to still have me there" he bites in his steak

"What are you going to do..." You ask worried

"Ohhh no biggie i always have things taken care of" he smiles at you

"If you need anything im here..." You look up at him

" i know....thank you" he reaches across the table holding your hand

The three of you finish up dinner afterwards you all go for a late walk through the park. It felt nice to get out and have some fresh air after what happended at the party. Your phone kept buzzing off the hook of texts from jack you kept trying to hide it from negan to not let him worry. You felt bad hiding it from negan but you knew it would start a fight but you also didnt want to let jack go without some talking. Negan took you and ellie back home ellie ran inside and got ready for bed.

"I know he is talking to you..." Negan says sternly while placing one hand against the wall beside your head

"Negan....can we not talk about this right now" you say turning your head away from him

"No!...you will look at me when im speaking to you" negan grabs ahold of your chin forcing you to look at him

"Yes....yes im still talking to him.." You say embarassed

"Why....he is such a load of whoreshit....im standing right infront of you (y/n)...im here now! Take me back please. Im an honest man now!" Negan growls

" get...off of me!" You scream and shove him away from you and begin to walk angrily down the road

"(Y/n) get back here now!...where the fuck do you think you are going!" Negan trys to catch up with you when it suddenly starts raining

"Negan stop trying so hard!...this is going nowhere!" You say crying

"Why do you keep saying that!...i want this to work!" Negan finally catches up to you grabbing you by the arm spinning you around

"......well i dont..." You choked on those words as they slipped out of your mouth it felt like your heart had just stopped for a split second it killed you to say that to negan but it had to be done

"You....dont want this." He said quietly and upset with rain drops running down his perfect face

"Negan....i.... I cant. You have to let me go" you say caressing his face" you said giving him a half smile with a single tear rolling down your cheek

"W....what about ellie.....thats my babygirl" Negan begans to tear up pulling you into a hug

"You can still be in ellies life.....i start therapy next tuesday" you say ending the hug

"You can talk to me (y/n)" negan sniffles

"There are just things that just feel easier letting out to a stranger sometimes..."

"I love you....." Negan says bresthlessly

"....i love you too but from a distance.....i have boundaries set now negan"

You and negan began to walk back to the house getting inside you hand him a towel to dry himself off. Negan follows you to the bedroom.

"There are still some of your clothes in the closet...." You say facing away from him

"You still have some of my old clothes here...." Negan opens the door seeing his shirts still hanging in the same spot before he moved out

"I didnt know if you still wanted them or not..." You say nervously

"Its okay. Thank you" negan takes off his soaking wet shirt switching it out with an old faded band shirt

"You can sleep on the couch if you would like..." You offer him

"You sure you are going to be okay with that?" He raises an eyebrow at you

"Yeah....plus its been lonely here just me and ellie" you chuckle handing him a blanket

Negan takes the blanket from you before turing around to open the bedroom door to leave. As soon as the door shut you quietly sobbed making sure it wasnt loud enough for negan to hear. You wiped your tears away before getting yourself ready for bed. You tossed and turned for most of the night your head filled with unnecessary thoughts and cenarios. You just wanted all of this pain to go away you dont know what you are doing with yourself anymore the only thing that keeps you holding on is ellie and negan.

Season 3 Prediction Post | Felicia Kroon

This is the prediction post for Felicia in the upcoming season of Eagles! I will be making prediction posts for the other main characters as well.

I think Felicia is going to have a really tough time this season (as per usual, even if I would've liked to see her happy through this season).

The description of season 3 on SVT Play mentions that "Ludde and Felicia’s relationship is still affected by their history and it also turns out that their plans for the future are not entirely in sync". From this, I'm pretty certain that something is going to happen between her and Ludde that causes yet another rift in their relationship. I'm sure they'll spend at least a few episodes together before this happens, though. From these shots alone there doesn't seem to be any problems between them. They're also seen together at Ola's funeral (which will happen in the first episode of the season), so my prediction is that something will happen that creates tension between them but they won't actually break up. They'll spend time apart and maybe even take a break from each other, but they won't officially be over.

I think it would be too repetitive to have them break up again after spending a whole season apart. That isn't to say that they won't have problems—namely with Felicia's drug problems that still haven't been properly addressed, plus the abortion Felicia had that we still don't know anything about. During a fight with Jack, he threatened to leak Felicia's abortion to the press. We don't know when this abortion took place but I have two guesses to this. My first guess is that maybe she found out she was pregnant after she and Ludde broke up, and that she decided to have the abortion around the time when she ran off to the US. If this is true, then it makes sense that Felicia told Jack about it. When Felicia came back from the US in the beginning of season 2, she had virtually nobody she could talk to. She wasn't friends with Amie anymore, Elias was in Karlskrona, and her parents were right in the middle of a divorce. Felicia didn't even feel like she could talk about the divorce with her mom when they were together in the US, so she certainly wouldn't open up about having had an abortion. Being in a situation like this where she was really struggling and having nobody to talk to, I'm sure Felicia really overwhelmed. And when she reconnected with Jack and they got closer she finally had someone to talk to about all her problems and tell this secret to. All this was of course prior to Felicia finding out that Jack had cheated on her. The other alternative is that Felicia got pregnant after getting together with Jack, and then got the abortion. In season 2, episode 7 (conveniently titled Secrets) we see a scene of Felicia and Jack making out on a bed. Things are getting pretty steamy between them but Felicia stops Jack and quickly apologizes. He's confused and asks what wrong—it's not that she didn't want to do it or that she was still upset over the text Jack sent to his summer flirt Olivia, so what is it? We get the explanation that Felicia has a lot going on in her head and that things are tough for her. Jack says she can tell him anything and the scene ends there.

Maybe she'd just found out she was pregnant, and that's why she didn't feel like doing anything with Jack. It's very plausible that Felicia told him after the scene ends and maybe Jack knew she was going to get an abortion (or had already done it, prior to that moment, and felt ill because of that). Point is, that scene could be where Jack found out about the whole thing only to use it against Felicia later when his true colors came out. Anyway, knowing Felicia had an abortion at some point and that Jack will most likely use the information to ruin her reputation, maybe this is the reason for the drama between Felicia and Ludde. He might even find out from the tabloids and question her about it. I think when the news drop in these gossip magazines is when Felicia has her mental breakdown (or maybe the culmination of everything). We've seen a few behind the scenes shot of her being emotional and possibly having cried in a forest.

Here is that scene pictured in the trailer, where we see Felicia reacting to hundreds of comments (most likely) made about her from people on social media. There's also a shot of her running through the forest, maybe trying to run away from all her problems.

These are, from the looks of it, all hate messages. In the trailer we hear Felicia say "I'm so ashamed", which could allude to her being ashamed over the news of her abortion spreading. Maybe Jack even twisted the circumstances to make her look bad, which could explain why these comments seem so aggressive. When Ludde finds this out (maybe preoccupied with the whole trial where Jack reported him for getting violent at the party where Ludde hit him with a crutch and also his brother potentially getting out of prison) I'm sure this will cause a strain in the relationship. It would probably be really overwhelming to find out this secret in the middle of all that. I also feel like Ludde is the type of person to get angry over Felicia not having told him—in the trailer we hear him yelling "what the hell are you thinking?"—rather than being calm and collected over it. This could lead to Felicia's drug problems getting even worse. There's this shot of her in the trailer saying "What do you have?". This could be about anything, really, but it could also be Felicia going back to her bad habit of abusing hard drugs when she hits a low point.

I'd like to think that Ludde notices how Felicia is having a really tough time and helps her with the drug problem, but I doubt it. Maybe it would make more sense if her family helps her, considering how Mats knows a little about the struggles she's had and how Elias is aware of it.

There are two more shots in the trailer that I'm unsure of, namely these ones:

The first one is Felicia being caught off-guard after noticing a man having walked up to her. This could be Ludde or even Jack, who has been pretty absent from both trailers. Maybe he goes back to the US after the whole trial ordeal and having told the media about Felicia's abortion, or maybe not.

The second picture is Felicia reacting to something. She's shocked. I don't really have any guesses for what this could be except for maybe her seeing for the first time that her abortion secret is no longer a secret. But for all I know the abortion could be a way smaller plot point than I originally thought, or maybe even something that was completely made up by Jack?

To finish this off, I revisited this comment made by @elliephunk80 on an old prediction post i made on the final three episodes of season 2 where I claimed that Jack probably cheated on Felicia.

I really ship Felicia and Ludde but I hope you’re wrong about Jack being unfaithful. If she reunites with Ludde I dont like the thought of her going from one unfaithful man to an other. Can’t even think of what that would do to her… If that’s the way its gonna be I just hope she stays single for a long time to rebuild.

I think this is a really interesting point to bring up. Felicia and Ludde are framed as the main couple of Eagles and that they're destined to be end-game no matter all the obstacles they have to go through to get there.

But perhaps they're not really meant to be together? As the season description from SVT said, "[...] it also turns out that [Felicia and Ludde's] plans for the future are not entirely in sync". We also know how many problems these two have had from the relatively short time they've spent together as a couple. Maybe the best thing for Felicia is to be single and work on her mental and substance abuse problems, and the best thing for Ludde is to reconnect with his brother who probably needs a lot of support after getting out of prison.

Nevertheless, I'm really interested in seeing how season 3 turns out and how much of this was completely wrong lmao. My main hope for Felicia is just that she's happy and getting proper help at the end of the season, because I'm getting a little tired of how much the writers have been bashing her. For some reason Felicia always has it the worst—and I can understand to some degree why with her whole backstory and the pressure of being a public figure—but that doesn't mean we necessarily need three whole seasons to show how much Felicia is struggling. I really hope season 3 is when she finally receives the support she needs from the people around her.

Captain the Retired Police Dog Part 3

I had no idea this would turn out like this, but here we are part 3

Just a quick warning this chapter is a bit sadder, but there will be plenty of fluff and love to try and make up for it. Also like 1 curse word

The next morning was a sad one for Marinette

She didn't want to leave her baby boy in the hotel room for the better part of the day

But she has no choice they're going to some museums today and they really don't want dogs in there no matter how well behaved they are

So Marinette filled up Captain's food and water and headed out

Marinette: Bye Captain be good we'll be back around 2, I left animal planet on for you

Captain gave Marinette a lick on the cheek as a goodbye and watched as his girl left without him

Even though Marinette didn't have Captain with her she tried to make the best out of the situation

She had to admit without Captain or Damian the trip felt a lot more lonely

The first stop was to an art museum.

Marinette loved it she was so inspired by all the pieces

She even got a couple of new designs out on it

Next came the superhero museum

Marinette loved that and it even helped her come up with a plan to stop Hawkmoth for good

It turns out that cities or other heroes can make formal request to get help from the Justice League to help with problems

And even though her and her team have grown as superheros Hawkmoth has also grown as a villian

Marinette fears the day that Hawkmoth decides to try and recreate Hero Day again

She knew she didn't have enough allies to call on anymore.

After the rift of the class the boy people she feels she can call upon now are Luka, Kagami, and occasionally Chloe

Chloe has gotten a lot better and she doesn't torment Marinette anymore

She mostly just keeps to herself and Sabrina now

She sometimes talks to Marinette too, but she wouldn't exactly call them friends yet

The next museum was local history museum

That was where Lila thought it was best place to have the "talk" she's been meaning to have with Marinette

Lila: Oh is poor little Marinette lonely without her stupid dog

Marinette: What do you want Lila. I literally haven't done anything to you. I stopped trying to exposed you, you took away all my friends in class, what more could you possibly want?

Lila: You silly stupid bitch. I may have done all that but do you really think I'm done? I won't stop until you're completely alone friendless, familyless, and dogless.

Marinette: What does that mean?

Lila: You just better watch the ones you love Dupen-Cheng. We wouldn't want anything to happen to them now would we. And you know how easily somebody could be akumatized nowadays

Lila walked away leaving Marinette shaken for the rest of the day

Tikki tried to reassure her chosen but there's only so much she can do when she's forced to stay inside a bag

Tikki leaned into Marinette's leg hoping to show some comfort to the poor girl who had to grow up way before her time

Marinette numbly: Thanks Tikki

Luckily for Marinette that was the last museum of the day, and before she knew it Marinette was back in her hotel room hugging Tikki and Captain close to her as she cried

Captain hated this it was like nothing he could do could help his girl

He didn't even want to think about what possibly could have happened to but her in this state

Marinette was still crying when she's got a call from Damian

Marinette was going to hit ignore but Tikki stopped her

Tikki: You should talk to him Marinette I know he'll make you feel better.

Captain budge her with his head to show his encouragement

Marinette just nodded her head trying to calm her breathing before answering her phone.

Damian: Hey Angel Titus and I are out fro-

Marinette in a broken voice: Da-Damian.

Damian suddenly on high alert: What's wrong Marinette?

Marinette tried to think about what to tell him, but she realized all she wanted was to be held in his arms

Marinette: Can you please just come up to my room?

Damian: Of course Angel what room and floor on you on?

Marinette told him and Damian went running with Titus at his heels.

Damian was barely aware what was going on around him until he was standing in front of his Angel's door. He could hear her sobbing through the closed door.

Damian was suddenly filled with the need to hurt whoever put his Angel in this state

Damian pushed his thoughts of murder aside and knocked on Marinette's door

As soon as Marinette opened the door she rushed into Damian's arms

Damian didn't know what to do, but he did what felt right

He wrapped his arms around the girl he's come to love so quickly, guiding them back into her room before any of her classmates can see them and does his best to close her door behind them

Captain seeing Damian struggle got up from his place on the bed and used his nose to close the door for Damian

Damian: Thanks Captain.

Damian guided Marinette back to her bed

Maneuvering them so they were now sitting on the bed Damian continued to hold Marinette close as she cried

Damian kept silent and just let Marinette get everything out of her system

The only time Damian moved was to press light kisses to the side of her head.

Titus and Captain also got in on the cuddle action surrounding Marinette silently letting her know that they too were there for her

After what felt like forever Marinette pulled away from Damian enough to see his face

Marinette: Sorry about that Damian I guess I ruined our date huh?

Damian wiping a tear from her cheek: Not at all Angel. What happened?

Marinette: Dont worry about it Damian. It's not important

Damian: If it made you cry then it's important and I want to hear about it

Marinette stay quite for a minute before she finally broke down and told him everything. About Lila's lies, about how the friends she'd known almost all her life choose someone they just met over her, about the feeling of isolation, and about Lila's threats.

Damian: I won't let Lila hurt you or anybody you love Marinette. Before she can even try I'll yeet her to the sun

Marinette letting out a giggle: Did you really just say yeet?

Damian chuckling: I thought it would cheer you up

Marinette still giggling: You were right

Damian: Do you still want to go out tonight, or do you want to stay here watch a movie and cuddle

Marinette: I think I want to cuddle

Damian: excellent choice habibata, and I know the perfect movie

Marinette: Oh really what's that

Damian messed with his phone connecting it to the tv

Marinette waited patiently for Damian to show her the perfect date movie and much to her surprise it's the 1999 Mummy

Marinette was a little skeptical but Damian was completely right

It was funny action pack and had a pretty good romance

Seriously guys this is my favorite movie

Marinette: I have to admit that was a great movie Damian

Damian: I know right it was one of the first movies I saw when I first moved to Gotham

Captain stared at this strange new boy and his girl

He did what Captain couldn't do

Reluctantly Captain officially accept this boy into his and his girl's life

If he could make her feel better then Captain would let him stay as long as his girl wanted him there

Damian and Marinette decided to take their dogs for a short walk to give them a chance to do their business and get some exercise before heading back to Marinette's hotel room to continue their movie night

After ordering some pizza from a near by shop the couple and their dogs spent the rest of their time together watching the other 2 Mummy movies in the trilogy then had a blast tearing apart the remake with Tom Cruz

Damian and Titus left after that movie, leaving Marinette feeling much better and safer.

Damian finally got home sometime after midnight. He expected everybody to be asleep or out on patrol but instead he found his family sitting in the living room

Walking towards them he was met by Ace

Damian: Hey girl how are you?

Damain rubbed the german shepherd's head

Ace gave the boy a lick on the hand before trotting away with Titus to go to sleep for the night.

Damian: I thought you guys would be asleep by now or at least out on patrol

Dick: We were worried about you Baby Bird. We thought you would be home hours ago

Bruce: Not to mention that you completely ignored our texts and calls

Damian: Sorry father something came up with Marinette, and she needed some cheering up so we had a movie night

Jason: seriously you spent 9 or so hours watching movies with your girlfriend

Guys I actually looked it up it would take about 8 hours to watch the Mummy trilogy plus the remake

Damian smirked: Yep and it was one of the best dates I've ever had. She has another free day tomorrow and we're going to hang out and go on another date

Tim: Really another date? And when will we be able to meet this girl?

Damian: If I can help it never.

With that Damian turned on his heels and heads to his room

Jason: So we're going to ambush them on their date tomorrow right

Dick and Tim: Definitely

Alfred: Are you sure that is wise? What do you think Master Bruce?

Bruce: If you're going to do it make sure you get some pictures

Dick winking: Will do

A bit shorter then usual sorry. But after the Lila scene I wanted to spend the rest of the post making Marinette feel better, and I felt like this was the best way to end this part.

i dont want to upset anyone but this has kinda been bugging me. i haven't been able to watch untamed yet so it could be everyone is gushing over lwj's acts of devotion for wwx, but wangxian kinda feels... onesided. im sure wwx loves lwc and the same back but all i keep seeing is what lwj does/sacrifices for wwx and then wwx just... doesn't reciprocate. it even sounds like wwx is kinda cold to lwj at times but then never makes amends?? im hoping you can talk about this or know of some meta post

Nah I don’t think it’s upsetting, it actually made me think a long time about their relationship which is never a hardship for me. Well since I’m very new and haven’t read the book or really any meta yet, I’m not as knowledgeable as others would be, but here’s my take on it. 

Lan Zhan in love is a paradigm shift - his entire life he’s been solitary and he’s really never let anyone in. But though he’s been in love up until Wei Wuxian’s death, he has trouble bringing himself to forsake his duty and he doubts Wei Wuxian‘s ability to control himself and not go all dark side. It’s understandable because even Wei Wuxian doesn’t know if he’s in control by the time he dies. A lot of Lan Zhan’s acts of devotion happen after Wei Wuxian returns from death. He’s had sixteen years to come to terms with how much he really loves him and his purpose now is to make it up to Wei Wuxian, giving him everything he needs or desires and ruining his reputation because he’s making up for his doubt with his big acts of faith, so you can see the turmoil and all consuming love because this man is going through an emotional journey and when you have a character that shows little on his face, you can feel the gut punch more when you see a tear fall or his face wrench in agony as he watches Wei Wuxian fall into the abyss.

On the flip side, I can see on the surface where one would think Wei Wuxian doesn’t have the same devotion. He flirts and teases but he’s never serious about it, he’s constantly getting himself into trouble and thinks he can always get out of it with a clever trick, he’s inconsiderate of the people who care about him and take care of him, and...oh shit, I just sounded like every person who has ever met Wei Wuxian. Let’s face it, Wei Wuxian is well-loved by a lot of people, but the problem is that a lot of that is conditional or he gets stripped of those friends and family and everyone, everyone, even Lan Zhan are not or cannot be on his side when Wei Wuxian effectively throws himself off that cliff and I think him doing that to himself can be seen by some as Lan Zhan not being enough for him, but as someone with depression and been in that dark place, it’s never about how much you’re loved but how much you hate yourself and note that he asks Lan Zhan to let him go, because he incorrectly thinks he’s not worth another breath and he wants Lan Zhan to be free of him. Despite his big damn heart and his capricious attitude, deep down I think he believes everything negative he’s told about himself and puts on an air of not caring because he cares so. damn. much. That’s why he keeps the depth of his feelings hidden, because this boy feels too damn much and he is always ready for people to leave him and sometimes he starts walking away first. 

Whenever I ship a pairing, my main tenant in shipping them is this: how do these characters treat each other differently than other characters? With Wei Wuxian, I think it’s when he goes quiet and isn’t putting on a show for everyone. And what do we see in those moments? I can give you a lot of examples, but I am only using the first episode because I think it summarizes my point entirely. For this episode and part of the next, he’s actively avoiding Lan Zhan like the plague, but why? To avoid weirdness? To keep being shady without being lectured? Nope, it’s seeing Wei Wuxian in the quiet moments that tells us why. The first time he thinks about Lan Zhan, he stares at Yuan’s robe and has a flashback to the first time he saw him. Just that has him staring as a thousand memories form on his face and he sinks to the ground quietly before eventually collecting himself and pretending again to be crazy Mo. Damn, that was quite different from how he’s been prancing around and presenting himself up until that point. Then not a minute later we see him playing their fucking song in a dark quiet room and he ends it with another flashback of that moment and a softly whispered, “Lan Zhan” When Lan Zhan does appear to fight with an epic Guqin slam,  Wei Wuxian is hiding but is looking at him like he’s about to cry. Wei Wuxian’s love is shown when he doesn’t have an audience, just his face whenever he’s tucking a drunk Wangji into bed or in the tortoise cave when he puts his cloak over him. You hear it when he’s in his own head and he’s worried for Lan Zhan. When he saves part of the medicine Wen Ning gives him for Lan Zhan’s broken leg and doesn’t heal his own wounds. When he asks Lan Zhan to lie and let everyone think Wei Wuxian tricked him so he’s keep his good reputation. They’re subtle, but that’s what makes it a perfect complement to Lan Zhan and how they act differently with each other. Lan Zhan is a serious, stoic, and subtle man, so for him to do such blatant things is his way of expressing love. Wei Wuxian is a fun-loving, carefree and outspoken man, so when he’s being subtle or is taking something seriously, that’s his version of love.

In summation this is why I love the ending, because you think Wei Wuxian’s fears of everyone leaving him are real because Lan Zhan does leave, is literally walking in an opposite direction, but when Lan Zhan comes back? That fucking smile, that right there is all the proof I need of how in love and devoted Wei Wuxian is, because the absolute relief and joy on that face? This subtle and quiet moment? This gif alone is how I know Wei Wuxian loves Lan Zhan with all his battered and bruised heart.

ever since i tried your way is gorgeous!!! i still have yet to read the strawberry milk fic (if a plague has not read one of the most classic b!h fics are they actually a plague? 🤔), but it's finally made it's way from my bookmarks to an open tab! exciting stuff! now TIME PASSED!!!! wee woo wee woo wee woo!! that fic will stick with me forever. i literally reread certain scenes from that fic (like louis discovering harry's youtube search history 🥺 or harry reintroducing that word during sex) at least once a week just to feel something.

i'm excited for you to read my fics! my historical one is actually set in the 70s! short and sweet, inspired by harry's beautiful italian mustache. and it definitely came straight from my heart.
