I will say one of the funniest things ever is that I was figuring Callum to be less devotional than canon has actually made him in arc 2, purely because I always figured that if Rayla kept pulling her self sacrificial bullshit (see numerous instances in s4) Callum would eventually be like "I can't do/love you like this anymore" and leave out of self preservation, and then 4x09's "I know" came along and said no, he would never actually leave her over this, and that's fucking insane to me but I love that for him

Dear Limited Life viewer, have you ever been under anesthetic? 

I have, quite recently, and I had a peculiar conversation with one of my surgeons beforehand. He said that the anesthesia would work backwards through my memory as well. The last few hours before my surgery, up to a day before, might get a bit blurry, even though I wasn’t under anesthesia at that time. 

Limited Life feels very much the same way. Whereas in Last Life no one remembered anything (except for Grian and Martyn, who exchanged glances far too often and always had the hairs on the back of their necks standing up), or in Double Life where the previous game was fresh in their minds along with vague memories of the first, Limited Life has stolen in a much more foggy sense. For example: Jimmy laughs when the Bad Boys talk about the “aha” bit. He remembers light streaming through his fingers as he peered up at a circle of towers, jovial faces surrounding him, the tingle of sharing a life among them. He remembers being outcast, the sting of rejection. He remembers the cool, sleek feel of a horn in his hands-- no, a spyglass. But prod much further, towards the end of the games, towards the Shadow Queen’s trap or the snap as he hit the ground-- that, he can’t remember. 

On the other end, Grian sits and watches. He goes into Last Life with the peculiar sensation of knowing how it feels to win one of these games. He watches Scar, distancing himself from his former partner. Grian is no good for him. And then Double Life, where everyone suddenly becomes very aware of the last season and vaguely knowledgeable of the first, where he sees Scar start to glance at Grian’s hands when he thinks Grian isn’t looking. Now it’s almost a bliss to only remember Third Life. He knows he should know what happened after that, but with the way it went for him the first time, why would he bother to prod?

And in between them sits Scott. You see, my reader, I may have left something  out about my conversation with the surgeon. When he told be about these side effects, he remarked that I may not even remember the conversation we had just had. But I’m very, very stubborn. So I locked away that moment in time and held onto it tightly, and while the rest of the conversation is only a gist in my mind those few seconds are crystal clear. Scott did a very similar thing in Third Life... with Jimmy. He prayed at night to whatever was watching, whatever was listening, that he would always remember his husband. He must have caught a few ears, because he never truly forgot-- fleeting memories followed him into Last Life, Double Life, and now Limited Life. It may be as small as a bucket with a fish named something that finally, finally Jimmy laughs about after all these seasons, or the way Jimmy tries to blame him for the mansion being looted because it seems like “a Scott thing to do”. But he remembers.

Ok I had an idea for a Limited Life animatic I'm never gonna draw so I'm just yeeting it into the depths of tumblr. Non Stop from Hamilton but specifically the bit that's like "... Running out of time, are you running out of time, are you running out of time, how do you write like you're running out of time, how do you write like tomorrow won't arrive, how do you write every second your alive, every second you're alive?"

Idk who would be in this animatic but I can just picture Deaths occuring at each running out of time...

Ok I'll say it , for the first few sessions of limited life, I always was of the opinion that it this would be so much better if the players could give other people more time!

HOWEVER after seeing session 7 I've concluded that the players not being able to give away their time is SO much better, especially since the amount of time taken from one person is not the same as the amount given to the person who killed them.

Also the added panic and mayhem of someone with more time begging someone with little time left to kill them to stay alive is SO much more chaotic than them being able to type a quick command.

Limited life spoilers!!!!!!

So I just watched Pearl and Cleo’s povs

Starting with Pearl, her teaming with BigB is going to be interesting especially with how close their base is to Cleo’s.

Cleo is now a reluctant mother and is now in charge of babysitting scar and bdubs. It’s hilarious, they also went full pyromaniac already and I am CACKLING!
