I haven’t participated in Linktober since 2021, but I knew this year I wanted to redraw my first ever entry from three years ago. I’m happy with the improvement! …And the nightmare fuel. Geez.

October Day 6: Shadow Beasts (Linktober Shadow)

Here we have 4 of my Rifts in TIme characters in their Dark World forms.

Dove is, of course, a loftwing. Each of the colors I used for his feathers were chosen for plot reasons if anyone wants to guess on that.

Firefly is a golden Eurasian wolf. He's not quite as bright as he'll be after death when he comes to help Twilight out as a spirit, but the basic color is there.

Bumblebee is a young, red eyelash viper and I think he's adorable.

And Monarch is a grey parrot.

The Shadow Beasts are like the Gloom Hands of Twilight Princess lol- the sudden slam of the barrier poles locking you into fighting a whole group of them when you don’t know it’s coming up was a jumpscare every time hahaha

How about some Shadow Temple vibes for Halloween? 👻

I looove Impa in OoT (boob armor and all!), she looks so buff and intimidating. I'm sure she has little Link pretty terrified.

I'm a bit sad I couldn't finish Linktober on time :(( I'm not giving up though, I need to complete all the prompts.

Here's also some of my favorite Shadow Temple related music because I feel like sharing!

Marble Pawns' amazing remix of the Nocturne of Shadow and the Shadow Temple theme (never thought I would come to love this theme that much).

And a very interesting and heartbreaking take on Kakariko Village! This one hits so hard 😭
