Three ships: So it depends on my mood/vibe most of the time (or how well an author can convince me) but a few that I really love: Definitely Alec/Magnus from Shadowhunters, I actually can’t ship them with anyone else. Same with Joe/Nicky from the Old Guard. I have to agree with Faramir/Eowyn as well, I always liked them, then I saw @liridi ’s art and I couldn’t see them with anyone else. 

Last song: I was on a Talk is Cheap radio so I’m not sure but the genre is more smooth vibes in my mind, not as energetic as what I normally listen to. 

Last movie: It was either Song of the Sea or To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, but they’re both very good in very different genres. My roommate had never seen to all the boys and I had never seen song of the sea and it was incredible the art and mythology was amazing, and I actually cried which I hardly ever do during movies. 

Currently reading: Currently reading the Naming (I think it’s been renamed the Gift?) and Lattes and Legends. Plus I’m always reading fanfiction but I’m in between fics right now, can’t figure out what vibe I’m looking for. 

Currently watching: I’m not really sure, I’ve been watching the Last of Us and Modern Family with my roommate, I’m not watching anything personally right now but when Ted Lasso comes out on the 15th I will immediately be watching that.  

Currently consuming: Water at the moment, I try to drink a lot when I’m not at work cause I always forget when I am. I’m hoping to order chicken nuggets for dinner though. 

Currently craving: A milkshake, or my mom’s homemade brownies which are so good but I hardly ever get them since I don’t live near my parents and I’m too lazy to make them myself.

TW: incest, abuse

Hi you absolutely do not need to answer this, I feel uncomfortable even asking (bc of the reason behind the question itself, not any fault of yours or bc of you) but can you rec any l/otr & the h0bbit artists who don't draw/support incest ships? It's literally so popular in this fandom and I've been having a really hard time finding people to follow. It's annoying to check out a blog & like their content only to find vis searching their blog that they like incest or are fine with it. I also got into S/ilm later & didnt know much & lost track of a lot of characters so I had the rug pulled out from under me when I realized a lot of s/ilm blogs I followed also shipped things like the fean*rians, & unfollowed them. I've been vocal about hating incest on my blog only for ppl who ship it STILL follow and interact with me. Not only is it gross, but my family has been personally affected by incestuous abuse so its especially abhorrent & upsetting to me and I don't like seeing it at all. I want to curate an experience within this series that I love but I'm finding it damn near impossible.

Finding your blog was a godsend and I feel very safe following you. Again, if you feel uncomfortable with answering its fine, but I thought I'd still let you know I appreciate you vocally opposing things like that, bless you.

Ah man :( I am sorry. I do feel like there should be SOME kind of wider comprehension about the silm fandom especially of just how much incest work there is in it. Very sorry you've had this experience.

I do not know if your consider fingon/maedhros incest so I'm going to list blogs that come to mind that I'm comfortable following and then put an * if they ship Russingon. I might be making mistakes however! I am not really present on the dash enough to know these things for certain.
