I'm sorry but I'm a huge Star Wars fan. have been since I was 11. it's crazy the amount of people on tumblr who have these big, severe opinions on Star Wars, but it's based entirely on what other people on tumblr have told them, and not anything they actually watched.

I've legit had conversations with people where they try to explain the plot of the sequels to me and when I correct them they'll admit "oh lol I haven't actually seen them, I don't like Star Wars, I've never even seen Star Wars, this is just what I heard from people."

if you jump on the hate bandwagon for the sequels, or for characters or actors from the sequels, just because hurdur tumblr told you too, please get out of my space. people like you literally ruined a fandom I had been a part of for 20 years because of your toxicity.

you also ruined the sequels/franchise for a whole generation of kids for whom they were the intro to Star Wars. a silly series of space fantasy movies about love and redemption, and you people made the fandom a hellscape of bullying.

Funniest shit in the world, though I don’t really see it utilized very much, is when the poor weak, sickly, hospital-bound character is cured of whatever ailment is confining them to the hospital bed, and then once they get their energy back and are actually capable of doing more than just Be Unconscious For Most Of The Day, you realize they are an absolute fucking menace lmfao

They are a reckless, moderately insane, fuck-around-and-find-out type who has weeks, months, or YEARS of pent-up Desire For Chaos And Carnage inside of them that is finally unleashed the moment they are freed from their beloathed medical facility. They get home, everybody celebrates, and then the first thing they do as soon as they are left unsupervised for like half a minute is set off a firecracker inside the house or something. Tomorrow they are going to drive the lawnmower to Wal-Mart. They decide to take up archery and promptly elect to practice on the neighbour’s lawn flamingoes. They’ve started a centipede collection in the guest bathroom. Everybody who is used to only knowing them as the Sad Sick Pitiful Guy Who Can’t Really Do Anything now has to learn [hopefully very quickly] that if anything is suddenly on fire for no reason then it is probably Hospital Guy’s fault.

To exclude Ray bc he's "not attractive enough" or "not the most emo looking" and focus on other members when he's doing a solo and it's his time to shine and excuse it as being a ____ girl is literally the most heinously racist shit. Every band member is important and you can't have MCR without any of them, but you especially can't have MCR without Ray Toro. He's the biggest reason that the band has such an iconic sound apart from any other band that gets categorized with them. He's so fucking talented and doing shit other guitarists fuckin wish they could do. And yet you motherfuckers have the gall to cut him out of photos and streams, as if he isn't the driving force behind the band and always has been, as if he isn't as important because he's "not as attractive." Like yeah, I like Frank and I think he's talented, but focusing your camera on him when Ray is playing a solo is so fucked up and you should fucking know better. The rampant racism in this fandom is so fucking disgusting to look at every single day, and there needs to be more of us white people saying shit about it instead of expecting the POC in the fandom to because you're "too afraid" to voice your opinion, or you go ask POC what to say as if they're supposed to hand you a script. Obviously don't talk over them, but start calling out racism when you see it!
