what pisses me off the most is mutliple news outlets posting like the casting has been "confirmed" as if their sources arent just some rando at cinemacon announcing it when he "wasnt supposed to" + other news outlets getting the hype😭 like paramount or jeff fowler havent said a WORD. WHO is confirming it😭???

yeah maybe its because i really wouldnt like this if it was true but the whole situation feels weird. the site is allegedly reliable, and they claim they have multiple sources, but like. what ARE the sources exactly? they wont say . who told you this. and no official sources are saying anything as far as i know?? and theyve been keeping everything about this movie as secret as possible and i dont remember knuckles' casting leaking in advance like this so . idk.

i think its always worth thinking about how women are portrayed in certain stories, from fictional narratives to reddit posts presenting themselves as true stories. is every woman in the narrative either antagonistic or shallow? are most or all of the men portrayed as sympathetic and competent, moreso than the women, even if they commit the same crimes?

And yet if you'll notice, most of my posts about aztec mythology are centered around him/Quetzalcoatl, and all of them at least mention him.

I do not like my hat, i love it so much that wear it literally every time i leave my house inside or outside and despite the fact that its a wooly hat i will wear it into july because i love it so much.

I do not like the colour purple, it is my favourite colour to the point that half of the things i own are purple and i genuinely see it as part of my personality.

I do not like spiritfarer, i love it so much that i have a mural based off of the game on my wall which took about a week to paint

I do not like spamton, i love him and the pieces of media he relates to so much that many people see me as "the spamton girl"

I do not like lemon demon, he is my favourite artist he is pretty much the only artist i listen to and i know all the lyrics to at least 30 of his songs and his voice brings me genuine comfort just from how much ive listened to him

There really is something so heinous about the news media continuing to say “Both Ukraine and Russia blame each other” about the Kakhovka Dam. Like I understand that they have journalistic standards blah blah blah need concrete unbiased proof (whatever that means) blah blah blah but there’s only so many times you can say “Both sides blame each other” when: a) it is VERY clear who benefits from that dam blowing and multiple experts have pointed this out b) it is such a known Russian tactic that I, someone with casual passerby knowledge of Russian military history, KNOW that salting the earth and bombarding civilians is something they have done before and continue to do c) it would be extremely out of character for Ukraine to do something that so thoroughly screws themselves over in the short and long term d) there are now reports of Russian troops firing on civilians fleeing the flood vs the Ukrainian response of frantically saving everyone they possibly can and finally e) When talking about this invasion Ukraine has been generally truthful and Russia couldn’t say good morning without lying twice & our news media know this!
