Before I started listening to TPP , I had no clue what it was about. I had only seen fanart, specifically for the Prince of Mars episode, so, I just assumed Juno was the Prince of Mars.

I thought the podcast would be about Juno, ex celebrity turned detective. Mars Golden child now a has been after some kind of scandal. Now changing professions to be a detective like he always dreamed, he finds that maybe the ties he cut with the golden city weren't as severed as he thought. As his newest case begins to dig up a web of lies and a life he wanted to leave far behind, he finds himself in deeper and deeper trouble.

This comes with the addition of him investigating places and people and ALWAYS being called out for being the Prince of Mars like "omg you're literally the prince of Mars, the star fallen from grace(or something like that)" Followed by all kinds of questions he loathes and ignores. Also, a gay romance with his prime suspect that later become his key ally in the corruption of Mars.

To be honest, it wasn't too far from what I got in certain aspects and I'm not complaining about the podcast at all. I got all I wanted and more and many restless nights thinking about Juno and the rest of the gang. Love it to death. I just think it's funny how expectations can be completely different from what is actually there. Most of the media I end up consuming stems from seeing fanart of it, so a lot of what I think something is about is completely different. The same happened for TMA too.

Anyways I think about my alternative Juno Steel Universe a lot. Completely different podcast story right there.

okay uh.. episode 9 is done

the ppl talking about art/animation this episode were right it was... just straight up bad. I giggled about it but god damn

we're getting a lot of focus on pri tho, and her character, which im appreciating. though ranzo and bel definitely feel like they've taken a backseat and become less... interesting to watch? mostly comic relief it feels like. ik pri is a new character so they have to develop her and give her more depth but i wish the older characters got a bit of that too. like ranzo and bel for example. maybe its just these recent episodes that got me feeling like that though idk. i just think they can develop ranzo and bel more based on last season but thats just me

im frothing at the mouth at the fact they're keeping pax's past a secret, just tell meee.

it feels like this season is going to be episodic with some big final boss energy towards the end. we still have a lot of old characters left to go i think (aiger, hyuga and hikaru, kit) (actually i think those are the only four) and 9 episodes so far, we've knocked down three. im a bit... concerned maybe? but we'll just have to wait and see.

anyways content of the episode was good imo, but the art was just... not it. and disappointing
