Mike hasn’t forgotten the probable ghost in his house. He tries to think about other things; his family and friends, what he wants to photograph, interesting books he has been reading. Recently, Mike had picked up a novel by Albert Camus called The Stranger . It is an intriguing read and he is familiar with Camus’ work, having read The Fall previously. And there is, of course, one line he has been staring at for long moments of time: I looked up at the mass of signs and stars in the night sky and laid myself open for the first time to the benign indifference of the world. He had read countless times, pondering over its meaning and depth. And even so, he always thinks of the sleepover, it’s always in the back of his mind. One part is always screaming, ghost! as it is some comedic ghost story.

But this is not a story. This is reality, and Mike is certain that there exists a ghost. He remembers the warning he had uttered to Nancy that night, you’re going to wish you believed me. And Mike is desperate , he must find the ghost, he must make sense of it. There is no logical explanation for everything that had happened then, there cannot be.

Some of the young drivers were chilling in their own little corner before the driver's briefing started, catching up with each other after the summer break. 

The conversation was interrupted when Lando walked into the room. ''Oh, there he is! My wonderful husband. The apple of my eye. My honey pie.'' Y/N greeted him, the sarcastic tone accompanied with a fake smile. 

''Honey, you're here already! Did you take the kids to school?'' Lando went along with her small skit, taking the seat next to her. ''What do you mean? I thought you were bringing them? We've abandoned our kids, Lando.'' She continued, dramatically waving her hands around. 

The group watched in amusement, except George who seemed totally confused looking at the two younger drivers. ''What are you guys doing? I can't follow.'' 

''According to some news site, they've been secretly married for like three years and have kids.'' Alex explained to his friend. ''It's the funniest thing.'' 

''You have to read it, George.'' Charles chimed in. 

Pierre handed his phone to the Mercedes driver. ''Here it is,'' the Frenchman grinned, ''enjoy.'' 

George skimmed over the words of the article, already chuckling at the first words. ''A mutual friend of both drivers spilled the beans on their impromptu Vegas wedding and the family they started afterwards.'' He read out loud, bursting out in laughter. ''Who's this friend?'' 

''It's obviously Mr. Gossip Girl over here.'' Y/N pointed at Pierre who jokingly dropped his jaw and placed his hand on his heart. ''How dare you?'' He gasped. 

''Don't act so surprised, you're literally a bigger gossip than I am.'' She retorted, having the entire group agree with her. 

The focus shifted to George as he let out a huge snort which he quickly covered with his hand. ''Oh my god…'' The Brit pointed at something on the small screen. 

''What is it?'' Mick asked, trying to see what he was pointing at. 

George composed himself before speaking. ''They just posted a new article claiming Charles and Y/N are dating, and live together in Monaco.'' He cited, attempting not to burst out in laughter again. 

Pierre grabbed his phone from George's hands, wanting to read it himself. ''Where are they getting this from?'' He scrolled through the report, chuckling as their source was another ''a mutual friend''. 

''You're cheating on me?'' Lando exclaimed, dramatically widening his eyes. ''What about the kids, Y/N? Why would you do this to them?'' 

''Lando, it's not what you think!'' She argued, impersonating the voice of those old movie stars in Hollywood films. 

Y/N could see the McLaren driver clenching his jaw, desperately trying not to break character. ''I see how it is- I'm taking the house and the kids.'' Lando held his hand in front of her face, essentially blocking her from his view. 

''And I'm taking your money, and me and Charles will be spending all of it.'' She bit back, pushing his hand away. 

Lando seemed ready to give a comedic comeback, but was interrupted by a curly-haired German. ''What's all the commotion here?'' Sebastian adjusted the headband on his head, his eyebrows furrowed.

''Y/N cheated on Lando with Charles and now they're getting a divorce- Lando is taking the kids, but Y/N is taking all his money.'' Mick answered his friend, matter-of-factly. 

Sebastian frowned, feeling like he missed a few chapters in the story. ''Oh, uh, good for you, Y/N.'' He walked away from the youngsters, joining Lewis and Valtteri on the other side of the room. 

''Thanks, Seb!'' Y/N amusedly thanked him, ''I can never do anything wrong in his eyes.'' She told the other guys, grinning from ear to ear.

"They're A 10, But…": think d&p would like this one because it's kinda similar to heartthrob in some aspects. basically you start with a rating a hypothetical person has, then a good/bad/neutral trait is drawn, then you assign a new rating to the person. d&p would have to make up a way to play against each other but they could just try to guess what new rating the other person gave or smth!! (also, one of the example negative traits they show on the site is "they have chronically chapped lips"....... anyway)

"Like I Like My": this one is kinda similar to the same same but different one, basically you are given two things in the "I like my ___ like I like my ___" format then you try to come up with the funniest similarity btwn those two things

"Buzzed Tower": almost like tipsy jenga but not really. you draw a card and follow its instructions for adding a block to the tower, if you knock the tower over you have to take a drink. I just wanna see d&p get drunk on camera okay

Went on google search, typed in 'Ugigiugi' just to analysis her tracing again, and accidental found her ancient Egyptian Mythos art. Apparently either Ugigugi or someone else relogged them on Pinterest and because of that they are now forever frozen there as a memory of a person who is no longer on the internet (and thank god for that).

I was happy to actually find these because I genuinely need to see what these looked like, as when looking at the tracing PDF file that @/Twistedpometea made and seeing a few select of the Egyptian mythos art there, I noticed that if you go to her Deviantart (the only social media she has left) the Ancient Egyptian stuff was the only thing that was completely 100% deleted. you can't find any of the art for it other than on google.

Moving on to an actual topic, while looking at this art wise, not only can you tell that a mass majority of this art is traces of Leona from Twisted wonderland, but the designs are straight up nearly stolen from the Webtoon Ennead (Another place she also traced from in a few of her works). Her Seth is literally a hybrid of the Ennead Seth and Leona from TWST mixed together to make some hybrid child.

I'm assuming she decided to make this "beautiful' decision so that she can easily trace fanart of both Leona and Seth instead of actually have to draw anything at all from scratch.

Anyway, thought this was interesting because my closing suspicion of her possible being homophobic keeps growing because this is apart of the several pieces of work were she replaced a male character in a MalexMale relationship (whether its fanart or official original art) with her female self insert to serve a heterosexual perspective. This time being a more sever case.

If no ones ever read 'Ennead' it is strictly considered a boy love story. Seth (god of war in Egyptian mythos) is seen having several romantic and sexual relationship with men. Specifically the god Horus. Its-- the story is a lot, but the main point is that this series doesn't have many hetro elements to it.

In Ugigugi's version she keeps Seth, gives him Leona's personality (kind of), and then replaces Horus with her Self insert Julia. The stories are nearly the same from what I can gather and all she did was erase the more graphic and horrid parts of the story to create a more fluffy 'gentle' perspective of the relationship. Almost in a way to spite the Ennead version of the story which has a much darker storyline to it.

Funniest part of this all? She's drawn Ennead fanart before so I genuinely do not get why she thought she was going to get away with this.

(LMAO love how in these pieces to not make it clear that she took heavy, and I mean HEAVY inspiration, from Ennead she just changed the art style. Just because the designs [which were probably also taken from other sources] are different doesn't mean that the tracing of the characters aren't obvious)

Now the only thing I want to know is why she mass deleted all of the Egyptian artwork she did and not the obviously traced Twisted Wonderland work that's still on her DeviantArt. is the author of Ennead more threatening with copyright striking? Was the universe she created actually co owned with another user and the other didn't want to participate anymore after realizing she was a tracer? Was she accused of something like racism ? Its odd for sure. if anyone knows comment or reblog because I think its really strange.

(also in the process of making this I found more of her ancient Egyptian mythology art so will make another post. Apparently its being sold on those weird scam sites that sell things for expensive prices. Apparent they think many of this work is worth 24USD. )

I try to! I often respond to a chapter's comments when I post the next chapter of a longfic. And sometimes I just space on it and respond a year later when I notice I failed to respond.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Oh definitely my X-ray + Penny flashfic, Bad Penny. Most of the comments are variations on HOW DARE YOU!!!

There are a couple other flashfics with pretty ambiguous endings, too.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

That's a hard one. Most of my fics have a happy or at least comforty ending. Maybe... uhh.... Electricity + Combustion ? which I literally labeled "whump with a fluffy ending". I also have two Jack Lives fics so that's always a happy situation at the end...

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I haven't. A few weird comments but I mostly scratch my head and ignore them. Anybody who hates on my fics will be getting a very long and nasty reply, followed by their comment being deleted.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Nope, no smutty fanfics here. I did have a romance I posted for another fandom awhile back (and never finished), and I've written fade-to-black stuff in my orig fic novels.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Just one! My Macgyver 2016+The Rookie cops-vs-spies crossover, in which some LAPD officers keep coming across a black GTO involved in shenangains around LA: 4 Times the LAPD Didn’t Pull Jack Over + 1 Time They Did

It's probably the funniest thing I've ever written, and the ending is one of my very favorites. Also possibly the only gen fic ever posted in The Rookie fandom, although I don't look over there much.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Yes. Somebody stole all my completed fics from FF.net last year. There was a big Tumblr post about some site full of stolen fics, and sure enough, there mine were. I asked to have them remove, got not reply. I haven't posted anything to FF.net since then.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Not that I'm aware of.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes, but not for a long time. I used to frequently co-write fics in my first fandom.

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

I'm going to go with Washington State Ferry M/V Wenatchee. Who doesn't love a good ferry boat? It's an irconic style, fun if you're walking on, handy if you need to drive on, saves you hours of driving around Puget Sound by land. Also just a very nice-looking ship.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

Ugh, wow. I have a couple dozen things I kinda like but might never finish. My favorite, and least likely because I've made the least progress on it, is a MacGyver fic about Patti having plotted out her revenge better, and tring to fuck over the team by having listed Jack as her replacement... which of course gives him access to high-level secrets like Oversight's identity. Much drama ensues.

Ramping a story up. Characters. Make a story fully story-shaped.

Endings. 😫

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

Hmmm I don't think I've ever needed to. Like most things in writing, I'm not against it in theory, but it can be done well or badly.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Anne McCaffrey's Pern, back in the paper fanzine days. Prior to joining AO3 in like 2019, I had 0 fanfics posted on the internet but a few in zines listed on Ebay. 😂

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

This is IMPOSSIBLE to answer. I could answer it differently every day for the next couple weeks. Anything I already mentions plus a couple more!

I've seriously been wanting to make a big post appreciating some of the dca content creators that I love (especially after getting to know some of them better) so here's a bunch of compliments and thoughts on them! (Also this is in no order, ily all very much ❤)

@madame-mongoose: Monnster!!! Oh, I love Monnie. Very bullyable (this is a pro). Always so funny and making me laugh. When Monnie comes online, I know there's gonna be some fun times to be had. Easy to talk to and my clone apparently. I wouldn't have made all these new friends if it weren't for Monnie and Sy, so I'm very appreciative of her uwu. Art is very shapely, bendy, very cartoonish in a pleasing way. And very unique to Monnie! I don't think I've seen anyone else with an artstyle like Monnie's. Characters are juicy, very well thought out and full of pain. Your mom.

The funniest thing for me is that even for gossip mags/sites Evans is lukewarm topic. I remember when previous sma were replaced(MBJ, Rudd) all post on insta contained previous sma name&/pic. Basically when they stepped down they were hyped once again. In comments under posts of sma ppl mentioned previous ones constantly.

Now with Evans it’s so quiet - like there was no sma last year lol. Literally no posts on magazines grid, no comments - seems like everyone is tired and knew that last year was mistake. (I’m talking only about Instagram - so I guess where the most traffic of fans is).

Hirai Momo x Fem!Reader // Fluff!

A/N: Not proofread and it was kinda rushed. I wrote this based off of a post by @write-it-motherfuckers . Hopefully, it turned out decent😭

It was 12:43AM when Momo showed up to your dorm repeatedly knocking on the door. Groggily, you climbed out of bed to find out who in their fucking mind would be knocking on your door this late. You can’t say you were surprised to find out that it was Momo though. It wouldn’t be the first time she’s shown up late for some stupid reason.

Tonight’s reason however, was to go to some abandoned construction site. ‘It’ll be fun! We can see if we find a ghost!’ She’d said. You didn’t know what had gotten into her when she mentioned it. Momo wasn’t the type to like scary things anyways. That was more of your thing than hers really. Still, you accompanied her to this construction site not wanting to leave her alone.

The two of you stood at the entrance awkwardly staring for a few minutes; looking at the building and back at each other.

“Are we meant to be in here?”

“Given the alarming number of warning signs, I highly doubt it. It’s okay though! Come on N/N!!” Your best friend called out before she finally made the first move to go in.

You had no choice but to follow along. It was already too late to turn back anyways. You ran along behind Momo nearly tripping on a hidden concrete slab on the ground. The little moonlight making it barely visible. Momo suddenly stopped in front of what looked like it could have been a door, but was never finished. She didn’t turn around. She didn’t move. She didn’t speak. She simply stared into the distance blankly. It left you confused and yet you didn’t say anything. You only stood next to her trying to figure out what she was looking at, but you gave up, growing impatient.

Hesitantly, you whispered, “Momo?”

No response. Instead, she slowly turned around, her blank gaze now directed at you. You were creeped out at this point. What the fuck. You thought.

“BOO!” She exclaimed successfully scaring you.

“UGH are you fucking serious Momo!? You actually had me worried. Jesus, I swear you were like possessed for a moment, god damn.”

She burst out laughing thinking your reaction was the funniest thing in the world. She found your sudden annoyance amusing, so of course she couldn’t take you seriously. Your eyes however, rolled at her stupid antics as your arms subconsciously crossed.

“Awww you worry about me? That’s a first” Momo taunted.

“Literally shut up, oh my god,” You groaned. A smile slightly tugging at your lips.

Both of you continued to bicker as the two of you walked around the half-completed building. It was dark and dusty. The only light available being the flash on Momo’s phone. Graffiti littered the slightly torn walls leaving messages like ‘TURN BACK’ or ‘____ WAS HERE’. Nothing too surprising; it was probably some dumb teenagers like you guys anyways.

Being here with Momo was pretty fun, you weren’t gonna lie. It was nice to spend some time with her outside of school. You often thought about what life would be like if Momo wasn’t your best friend. It was impossible to picture. So, ‘where would you be without her?’ You thought. But it was interrupted. You and Momo stopped in your tracks abruptly after hearing a loud scratching noise not too far away from where you guys were. Like nails on a chalkboard. Panic struck. The noise getting closer little by little. Instinctively, Momo grabbed your hand and bolted. Where to? Neither of you knew. Hell, you guys had been walking for hours. The entrance was nowhere to be found now. Momo dragged you back to where she first scared you. There was a staircase near the door, so up you two went as fast as your legs could carry. It led to the roof of the building. Quite literally a dead end.

“Shit shit shit. Okay we’re gonna die. OH MY GOD WE’RE GONNA DIE. Y/N I’m so so sorry for dragging you out here. I just thought that you’d might have fun since you’re into these kinds of things, you know? I just like wanted to spend time with you doing something you like, you know? And uh, I uhm, I like you? I don’t know? I didn’t even plan to tell you or anything, BUT OH MY FUCKING GOD WE’RE GONNA DIE SO LIKE I GUESS I MIGHT AS WELL”

You chuckled, forgetting about the noise for a second. Your lips parted to say something in return until you remembered the noise again. It was closer than before. Louder than before. Both your guys' eyes turned to the door horrified for what you might see. Hands trembling. Eyes tearing up. Nothing, but pure fear consuming your souls. You were shaking at Momo’s side, but the noise came to a halt? Out stepped a small four-legged creature. Its eyes big with curiosity as it sat down tilting its head at the both of you.

“Ain’t no way…” You mumbled.

“IT WAS A FUCKING CAT!?”Momo shrieked.

“You know what? After what I just said, Imma just walk off the roof at this point. Ciao!” She spoke again, getting up and walking towards the edge.

A small giggle escaped your lips as you grabbed her by the hood of her white dinosaur hoodie. You pulled her a few feet back wrapping your arms around her waist.

“You said you liked me?” You snickered, this time, taunting her.

“Shut up.”

“Hmmm, I like you would have been a better response.”

She hummed, pausing for a second. “I love you Y/N-ah”

“Ah, see? That’s much much better. I love you too Momorinnn”

“Imagine confessing because you’re scared though. Couldn’t be me.”

Get Back day-by-day re-watch (January): In January some people on decided to rewatch the bits of Get Back from that specific date, some also went through the nagra tapes of that day. They'd make cool compilation posts with moments that stuck out to them. I just remembered it was actually called Get Backuary :) I didn't really participate though because January is a busy time for me, in general.

Beatles poll wars (around February-April): once the poll feature reached bug tumblr we started having a LOT of polls and it caused a not insignificant amount of discourse and accusations of "bootlicking" or whatever lol. Interestingly, we discovered that Paul and George have roughly the same amount of fans (taking ~35% each) and John and Ringo also have about the same amount of and only about half as many fans (~15% each).

McLennon Conspiracy Blogger Disappearance Event (April): I explained this here, though I forgot to mention that in mid-April this blogger went scorched earth and dropped off tumblr completely. One time they made a post insinuating that no one's ever bothered wondering why John was depressed in 65/66 (and implied it was because THEY knew McLennon had broken up for a while or something)… Sir, this is the John Lennon Psychoanalysis Website.

Eyes of the Storm (June): Paul published a book and held an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery featuring tons of never before seen pictures from late 1963 to early 1964. Very fun time though people randomly claimed the majority of the pics were John when that wasn't really true lol there was just a general bias in which pictures from the gallery got shared.

Now And Then announcement + initial discourse (June): in a radio interview to promote said gallery, Paul offhand mentioned he had used Peter Jackson's AI technology to isolate John's vocal and "the last Beatles song" would be released later this year. There was a first wave of discourse from people thinking Paul was gonna use an AI-generated John vocal, rather than use AI to isolate an existing vocal (this was so frustrating because it was so clear in context what Paul meant but online news just ran with it). Then, there was a second wave of discourse (which was revived upon the songs release) over the extent of George's involvement and how much he would have wanted this.

Beatles song tournament (July–August): A sideblog was created to do a Beatles song poll battle. It got a bit intense lol. Everyone started hatejerking about Hey Jude beating A Day In The Life in the semi-finals.

Top Worm™ (August): Literally One Of The Greatest Moments On This Site. Also, let no one tell you John wasn't Top Worm. It is law.

Now And Then song + video (November): think this one's self-explanatory but basically Now And Then came out, we all reacted to it, the video came out the next day and was kinda hilariously bad but in the funniest way possible, George Discourse Part 2 and also How Much Is Paul Allowed To Change John's Song Discourse which I found puzzling lol. Someone said him removing a verse was "Paul Rewriting History". fantastic. no notes. what a time to be alive.

when you originally asked this question it wasn't, but hey 8 years have passed and things have changed now. the world fucking sucks, but ONE way that it has improved is that i made the effort to upload my LPs to a modern video hosting platform. all three LPs are here - totalling 1 day, 15 hours, 22 mins and 36 secs of video. that's a lot! a lot a lot a lot! (remember that guy from majora's mask?)

and because i'm insane i also went to the effort of adding 'director's commentary' to every video, padding out this project even further. that's over 42,000 words of commentary that literally nobody will ever read, because immediately after i posted it all youtube rolled out an updated video design that masked the video description underneath a dropdown menu, thus ensuring my gags and mental breakdowns remain entombed in obscurity (where they absolutely belong). thanks a fucking lot!

this reupload project also features over 10k words of nuts & bolts fanfiction i wrote to go alongside the videos, which is... also something that nobody will ever read. i linked it here anyway. one thing about me is that i labour over massive projects that nobody will ever see, and i never finish them. my hard drive is a graveyard of video and writing projects that will never see the light of day in either complete or incomplete form. can i be real for a second though? i LOVE this. i think this is one of the funniest things i have ever written lmao. and i actually got it not only completed, but posted publicly too. holy shit.

i'm split on whether i should do anything else with this project. on the one hand, all that commentary i spent over a year writing should have a chance at being seen. arguably i should start putting those gags and comments somewhere that they might actually get eyes on them, like here on tumblr or on cohost or something. on the other hand, this is already a 16-year old video project that i have arguably milked for way more than it's actually worth. i already added unnecessary extra commentary to a dead series of LPs, can you imagine anything more depressingly recursive and masturbatory than putting those comments elsewhere... with further comments? lmao. that would be a horse-flogging so thorough that the horse would be reduced to a fine red paste.
