Had someone at my work be like ‘I found this kind of guava root beverage that they only sell in smoke shops and it’s the first thing that’s ever helped with my pain’ and I’m like ‘. do uou mean kava or’ and she shows me a pic of a kratom seltzer and I’m like Oh Yeah Ok Kratom I Know Of It
yes you could draw arthur with yellow irises, very cool. or or or you could draw him with normal irises and make the white part of his eye yellow. like he's got jaundice. like he suffering from liver failure. because he probably is. reject modernity, embrace tradition. make him look like the sickly malnourished Victorian boy he is.

my chest hurts again :( when they released me the ER was like "it was probably just the craziest most intense acid reflux anyone's ever had even though youve never had acid reflux before, good luck" but i have now eaten three tabs of chalk and it is NOT HELPING so i think they were wrong
The most annoying part of my nine day hospitalization was that the night prior to rushing to the ER I had my last twelve ounce can of elderberry mead on the logic of "I haven't been in too much pain recently and I haven't needed to take Tylenol this week so I doubt I'll need it in the next twenty-four hours" only for about fifteen hours later having to weigh with the doctors the pros and cons of a high dose of acetaminophen in the face of agonizing abominable pain because IBD means I can't take NSAIDs and they didn't want to push opioids unless I was actually being admitted
