of course, he really doesn't understand why you want him to say such words again and again, but if you really want him too, then by all means, he'll recite it as many times as he needs too - until his throat bleeds.

it gets to a point where it's hard for him to keep a mask of calm around you, sometimes refusing to face the screen for fear of you seeing his bright red, flustered face. the feeling he gets when you appear just makes him feel warm. whole. complete. like how he should be.

and he doesn't want that feeling to end. ♥

the moment he joins your party, it seems that CHILDE will never leave your side.

he's been watching you for a while, longer than he'd like to admit. the fatui member has been entranced by you since the moment you began your adventure in teyvat - because he knew you were there. and he could barely keep himself together when you skipped other character banners just to wait for him.

maybe that meant you wanted him as much as he wanted you!!

but perhaps that's the actual truth?? his heart can't stop racing as he watches you through the front camera with his almost sparkling blue eyes, seeing how you're so desperate to have him!!

it's not an underestimation to say that ZHONGLI has dedicated everything to you.

he's not just an acolyte, but more of the acolyte. his past used to be a... dark topic for him to bring up - especially the mention of his passed lover, but now that he's found you, he finally has something to live for!!

so he tries his very best. after all, zhongli is quite the capable person. and he won't even have to worry about you finding out, he's quite the actor - but sometimes, even he wonders.

if he spoke to you, would you listen? would you scream? shout? cry??

Drawing a Liyue character every day until CNY day 2: Xinyan!

OTP(s): Jinyan/ Yunyan! (Xinyan x Yunjin) :3 one of the most underrated ships in Genshin, I didn’t ship it at first but it grew on me the more I read each of their lines about each other.

Relationships I like with her in:

-Xinyan and Childe. Pls can we have more interactions with them 

-Xinyan and Kazuha and Beidou (all 3 haven’t interacted together yet but Xinyan works well with both)

-The Blaze Lilies! (I really loved those two together :3)

Things I like about this character: Xinyan is the realest Genshin character, and her morals/ideals align the most with mine than any other character. Her guitar looks a lot more like pipa rather than a guitar, and I really like the way it looks and how it manages to sound like an electric guitar despite Teyvat not having electricity. Events are made 1000% better with Xinyan (pls mihoyo can we have another Xinyan centric event-)

Meta stuff: C6-ed. I’ve tried so hard to make her a pyro defence dps, but I think until I have a 5* claymore with a crit or defence main stat it isn’t really viable. I only tend to use her in the Mondstadt talent domain which she is unbelievably cracked at. I guess she’ll only become meta in Snezchnaya- actually that isn’t true, I used to play burgeon Xinyan for a bit when Sumeru first dropped which was pretty OP, except burgeon requires very specific set-up which is a bit finicky for my liking.

HCs: Xinyan fishes a lot and is very good at it, as well as just being well adapted at sea from experience and instinct. In another life maybe she might have been a member of the Crux. She hopes Childe will show her how to ice-fish one day~

1st Ascension Passive: Chain Stitch

Increases the max amount of opponents that can be sewn by Stitched Up Tight by 8.

4th Ascension Passive: Threading the Needle

i was watching u count ur wish history and i explictly said ur at 80 pity so a ten pull away from a 5 star and a week later u seemingly forgot and wished and were surprised to get a 5 star

u usually dont get the wishes in paimons bargains that reset every month unless i remind u

u thought u didnt get anything from the battlepass unless u paid for it

theres the whole boat thing where u. didnt know boats were in the game. so u just didnt unlock any waverider waypoints. u were icebridging to all the islands in inazuma

tbh im shocked u even finished the tcg tutorial

My next two theme teams to build towards!

I am actually hoping that the Mondstadt team will work to replace my current Icebreakers team, which works just fine for Cryo-themed domains and bosses but isn't really a great overworld team, but I'll only find out once it's built, so. XD;; We'll see! (Ironically, since I'm done running Blizzard Strayer for now I mostly use Icebreakers for the Mondstadt talent books, so by the time this team is built I won't need it much for that domain, but again, I'm hoping that it'll be a bit more functional in the overworld so I can just run around with it everywhere on the days that I'm using it.) I had a catchy name for it when I first thought of it that I've completely forgotten, but "Diluc's Demise" works for now because the narrative I'm building for it in my head 100% involves the teenagers running roughshod all over him.

"Shogun Loyalists" would work better as a name if I had Yae Miko instead of Wanderer (meme voice: this is where I would put my Yae Miko, if I had one), but I was still saving for Eula last time she came around, so! He will hold the fort for now. Mostly I've been wanting to build Sara a team so that I can justify actually finishing building her, and this will do as a placeholder until I do get Yae. In the meantime, I've been making theme teams in order to motivate myself to build more of my 5-stars, so he will get built that way! And running artifact domains for this team will help me feed the artifacts on Diluc's team, which is fully equipped with sets but whose sets are not all powered up yet. The artifact grind is endless....

Not pictured: Since I was running Crimson Witch for Diluc anyway, I am also building Hu Tao and Yanfei to start cycling into the Liyue Children (and possibly Meltin' Medley, though I've got such a good rotation with that one that I'm not sure they'll add in well, since as far as I can tell from talent descriptions both are on-field and it relies on Xinyan and Xiangling's off-field Pyro). My endgame there is to do at least a short run-around with all four Liyue Pyro girlies, once I have them all built. :> They deserve a fieldtrip of their own! Unsupervised! Yanfei's basically a responsible adult, I'm sure it will be fine.

the most fun domains to use my cyno team in are the liyue talent book domain and the husk domain bc i always get everyone’s burst back by the end of the domain <3

I don't know about others, but i find the forsaken rift domain (the one where you farm mondstadt talent books) to be the worst, most annoying, and most difficult.

As such, now Liyue and inazuma (and all future regions) talent book domains are replaced with forsaken rift.

this is very situational bc i have so many characters at this point but rn my friendship team is cyno/candace/shinobu/nahida and i try take them into every boss/domain i need to do so. cyno/nahida are my current mains!

artifact farming probably i hateeeee the rng aspect of it it’s so not fair 😭😭😭 but everyone says this so i’m also gonna mention that i think they’re too stingy with the talent book/weapon material/boss drops like the way i’m not guaranteed gold level drops/at Least 3 boss drops at my level is sooo annoying

20. Do you prefer Mondstadt, Liyue, or Inazuma?

🥲🥲🥲 mmmmm i think id have to pick mondstadt… the nostalgia gets to me a lot and i think it’s probably the region with the most amount of actual established character relationships/dynamics which i Love. liyue is an extremely close second though it’s sooo gorgeous

Let Yanfei self level the rest of the way for now, 86/90 isn't bad. I'll continue farming for her talents when I get the chance, which reminds me to hunt treasure hoarders in Liyue today.

Build my Fischl for domains and/or spiral. Beidou and occasionally Aether being my only electros is really cramping my style, especially since I need Aether on Dendro right now.

Build Chongyun, not because I need another cryo but because he's my son and he deserves it.

Build Collei so I actually have another dendro until I eventually probably get Tighnari.

Once 3.3 starts, I'll start prefarming for Hu Tao. Similar to Albedo, the goal is level 80/80 with 7/7/7 talents minimum.

Basically, everyone who's level 80/80 or higher is taking a backseat for now, I can at least deal pretty good damage with all of them for now, so I'm satisfied with them for now.

Also intend to build Mona and Noelle.

When I say build, I mostly mean leveling characters to 80/80 and leveling their weapons. I will also do my best to get their recommended artifact sets but leveling artifacts will go to those who are higher levels but have incomplete artifacts.

Bows Only: Obtaining Our Free Fischl

With the Liyue quest complete, all that’s left to do to unlock the Summertime Odyssey Event is to complete Dainsleif’s quest and the first part of the Inazuma questline.

Originally I wasn’t planning on ascending Amber until either she reached level 20 on her own or we got to Inazuma and were able to ascend everyone, but, as you can imagine, level 40+ enemies made Dainsleif’s quest pretty difficult, so...

and, while we’re at it...

I leveled up her talents, too, because I can.

And, hey, look who we ran into again while doing Dainsleif’s quest!

I only ever find this guy on my main when I’m specifically searching for him, why do I keep running into him on accident on this account?

See this seems like he’s being arrogant, but it’s actually literally true. He is literally the God of music.

Now, Kazuha’s domain was easy, but Xinyan’s gave me quite a bit of trouble... so, I speedran the Escape from Ritou questline in order to obtain Sara and Gorou’s ascension materials.

I also leveled them up to 30, just for good measure, and we didn’t have any trouble from then on-- at least, in the combat department.

But, while exploring Fischl’s domain, I kinda, uh...

Where am I??

Eventually, I found a hole in the ground where I could fall into the abyss and respawn at the checkpoint. Afterwards, I went back and found the place where I fell.

I mean, look at that! There’s just! A hole in the ground!

Anyways. I finished the rest of Fischl and Mona’s domains without issue, and we got our Fischl!

I immediately ascended her, of course.

With that, we now have a full party of four members! During the last couple of days before the version ends, our goal will be to get as many primogems as possible, as we still haven’t gotten Yoimiya... I’m at about 55 pity now, iirc, so I don’t think we’ll be htting soft pity before the version ends, but! We can still get Yoimiya! I believe!!

Elemental Skill: Steeped Splashdown

The Teapot Cannon releases a singular huge tadpole-shaped water bullet that explodes upon impact with opponents, dealing AoE Hydro DMG.  Hold Boiling the water in her teapot cannon before firing, Yixing triggers the Vaporize Elemental Reaction. The reaction acts as if the opponent was affected by Pyro then inflicting Hydro, dealing a 2x damage multiplier.

Elemental Burst: Bubbly Brew Bliss

Creates Tadpole Bubbles as Yixing attacks opponents with Teapot Cannon and Steeped Splashdown. This effect lasts for 20s.  Tadpole Bubbles Tea-filled tadpole-shaped bubbles that when it comes into contact with nearby characters, provides instant healing based on Yixing’s Max HP.

1st Ascension Passive: Oo-Long Tea

Increases the firing range of Steeped Splashdown by 15%.

4th Ascension Passive: Intensified Infusion

Elemental Reactions triggered by Steeped Splashdown deal additional DMG and/or have their effect durations increased.

Utility Passive: Lily Pad Jaunt

When walking into a body of water, lily pads will appear under Yixing’s feet, allowing her to traverse over water.  This ability can be cancelled by jumping into the water.
