Sagau Headcannons
A/n: I see you all like the sleep deprived Headcannons.
Dying
I am bad at keeping my characters alive or rather I have a screw loose.
Imagine trying to defeat a boss with only one character alive in the party (definitely did not experience this 5 minutes ago)
The only character alive would be praying to you, to let them win this battle in your name and glory.
If they win the battle, they're stopping by an altar or statue of you and praying thanks as they survived the brush of death. After the prayer they'd clean, polish or train with their weapon given by you.
If they lose the battle, they're not going to blame you. No...No...no they're going to blame themselves and how they should've been stronger and faster. You gave them weapons they could only dream of having or even never heard of, You also gave your blessings towards them (levelling and artifacts).
The characters who died earlier they'd be in the same boat as if they lost. Whether of they won or not, they still died.
Travelling & Companions
Your most favoured characters who managed to be on your team are ecstatic.
They'd be so amazed by the different places and attractions.
Your little followers would be so amazed as you control them as you explore and fight.
Replacing them with new followers would be a bit tricky
They'd be so sad and disheartened as they think their not good enough.
While you'd just probably a different element to unlock some puzzle.
OMG just like toys story...
Miscellaneous
The acolytes and characters would be a bit saddened whenever you had to leave the world but still you'd always come again tomorrow.
Baizhu would believe in you but not to the extent of the others he sees you as an example of eternal life. It makes him want to learn more about you.
Scaramouche would like to listen as you ramble about your day. Although he never felt you when he was crated and all the betrayals, right now he could feel all fuzzy and happy.
Xiao loves whenever Verr Goldet would have a commission and you need to visit the Inn. It makes him smile seeing you walk through the doors. His Karmic Debt dwindling as he sees you.
Ningguang likes it whenever you were near the Jade Chamber or hust in Liyie Harbour, It gives her pride whenever you awe at her accomplishments.
Raiden would love having picnics with you under the cherry blossoms.
Nahida likes it whenever you were in Sumeru. Whenever you set foot in the country she could feel a warm comforting feeling. A feeling she associated with you whenever you visited.

If you don’t give me the novel’s ending/give me Princess Agents ending redux, I am buying a ticket to China to go “talk” to the makers, I swear!
This said, I am cracking up at the image of them just weeping at each other for hours!

"Are you ready to go?" Your turn facing your brother’s half hidden head from behind the door. His judgmental gaze scans your room before returning to you.
You turn around to look at your tired reflection in the mirror. The reflection highlighted the bags under your eyes and the ruined wrapped hairstyle.
"Why does it look like a tornado smacked you in the face?"
"My hair.. got stuck again, I hate this curly thick hair!" You roughly grab your hair, attempting to style it again, only for it to fall flat into place.
"Y/N, relax." He grabs your hair and helps you style it into place. He was finished in a matter of minutes.
"Here." You look up, seeing the neat hairstyle in place.
"Thank you Mara, what would I do without you?"
"You'll be late for your flight." On his way out, he grabs your suitcase.
Fortunately, You and Mara weren't too late for your flight. They were starting to load passengers onto the plane. As you waited for your number to be called, you took out your phone and loaded Genshin Impact. While you were waiting for the game to load, you felt a head press against your shoulder.
You turn around to see Mara staring at the screen. He looks at you, puzzled, before pressing the door that appears on the screen. Your row numbers were called as the symbols loaded. As you boarded the plane, you quickly pocketed your phone without locking the screen.
Mara safely stored the suitcases as you took a seat near the window. "Hey, want to play Genshin on the way?"
"However, we didn't pay for internet?" He smirked as he took his seat.
"We can play with the plane wi-fi silly without paying." He rolls his eyes as he grabs his phone. He turns it on before the genshin screen loads. A stewardess approached him and told him to turn off his phone while they prepared for the flight.
As the plane took off, you notice the green of the land below; and a  child with blonde hair running around on the ground. You rub your eyes perplexed. Staring at the ground, you saw the land and cars below a normal view.
When the plane was high enough at normal altitude, people that were awake pulled out their phones. You peek to your right, seeing Mara  do his commissions. You watched him for a bit before you drifted off into sleep.
Heavy air pressure filled your ears as you awoke. The sound of screaming was heard as you looked around. Masks appeared everywhere as people began to panic. Looking out the window you saw the ocean quickly approaching. You began to brace yourself as cold water engulf you and everyone.
As you were passing out you heard Mara's frantic voice call out your name.
Coming to, you look around checking where the plane landed. You see trees surrounding you. As you got up, you fell back down. Your feet hurt terribly as you try to get up once more.
After a while, you tried to get up again, this time succeeding. Continuing through the forest, you passed some monsters and slimes. Instead of freaking out, you slowly walked passed, trying to get away discreetly.
A crunch from a stick gained the attention of a nearby Abyss Mage. An electro Abyss Mage appears waving it's staff.
You quickly back away in the other direction, trying to run.
You hopped on your good foot trying to get away from the mage that kept teleporting in front of you. Sprinting you dodge it's electro ring.
The chants of the Abyss Mage grew closer until you heard a scream from it. Looking behind you see a Milellth soldier killing it. The scream died down as it's head fell limply onto the ground.
The soldier turns, approaching you. "Are you alright, Miss Temah?" You freeze in place.
"Temah?"
"Yes, you're Miss Temah, that helps run the perfume shop in Liyie Harbour."
"Are you alright?" He began to check your head and arms for injuries.
" Yes.. but my name is Y/N." You spoke your real name, causing further confusion. The soldier lightly grabs your arm and walks with you to the Harbor.
"Hey! Where are we going?" You try to get away, only for him to tighten his grip.
"Let's go have Doctor Baizhu check on you."
Reaching the Bubu pharmacy, you saw characters that weren't included in the game and some that were.
Little Qiqi was sweeping while counting in rhythm; one of the workers NPC you saw in the story quest was helping the elders with their medicine. Some new workers were preparing the treatment in the back.
"Oh? What brings you here?" Hearing Baizhu's voice made you look up. The green haired male walked from behind thr counter approaching you. The snake Changseng wrapped around his next as she anslayzed the situation.
He guided you to a chair in the next room and checks over you for injuries.
"Miss Temah was being chased by an Abyss Mage." Your felt your hair moved as he looked for any bruises behind your head.
" Did they fall?" He glances towards the male making him pause. You hadn't fall because he killed the Mage from appraoching.
"No, I killed the Mage before it hurt her."
"I'm not seeing any injuries on Miss Temah." He looks at the male confused.
"That's not my name, It's Y/N."
" Y/N, where did you grow up?"
" I grew up in (city name) with my older brother Mara." She faced the solder who's face grew more power from each word. But she's wasn't wrong, that's her name.
"Miss Temah doesn't have siblings, she's an only child." Baizhu nodded grabbing a peace of paper. He writes down her situation.
" Seeing that Miss Temah's story isn't adding up, I can only assume that she has some memory loss." He puts the brush back into his hair. He can't be fucking serious right now?
Your name is Y/N, you are Mara's younger sibling who was with him until you woke up as this "Temah" girl.
"Hey! I'm not this Temah chick."
"please lower your voice Miss Temah we have other patients." He gives her a blank look before continuing. " I'm not sure if it's long term or short term, but for right now they should take it easy." The soldier nods completely ignoring your distress.
You've barely been in Teyvat for five minutes, got attacked by a Abyss Mage and saved by this soldier. This day just keeps getting more and more chaotic.
"And Miss Temah." He holds out a prescription for you to take.
"Please avoid venturing out of the city on your own." Baizhu walks out the room leaving you with that man.
Silence fills the room until he cleared his throat. The soldier was a beautiful man; fair skinned, black hair, stunning blue eyes and donned the Millelth uniform. The look he gave was bittersweet almost if his heart had just been ripped out his chest.
"Let me reintroduce myself… I'm Shinu. We met a few years back during a festival." A frown Donner his face as he paused mid sentence.
"Nice to meet you, Shinu. My name is Temah, you said?" He nodded.
"Te-mah. That's a strange-sounding name." You mutter unknowingly, making Shinu wince.
"It's very beautiful." He mutters.
Baizhu re enters handing them the medication they had to take before sending them on their way.
Shinu escorts you home and tells people who you assume are Temah's parent everything. They glance back and forth between you and Shinu, and their faces grow pale. You stomach dropped as your gaze fell to the floor
Temah's Mother walks over and grabs you by your shoulders.
"Tell me it's not true! Tell me you remember me Temah.'' The woman cries out, shaking you.
"I'm sorry, my name is Y/N, not Temah." The woman releases her hold on you, sobbing harshly into her arms. The father, you assume, walks over, hugging her, trying to comfort her.
Awkwardly you stand off to the side, clutching your arm. Honestly, you felt bad about replacing this Temah person's life. She seemed to live a positive life unlike what you had back home.
When you woke up in Genshin, you expected to keep your body, not take over someone else's.
Hearing Temah's mother cry made them feel more guilty. The more they spoke the more damage they caused. Your nails dig into your skin as you thought of something that could give you a clue of what she was like.
'"Did I keep a diary before?" The sobbing decreased, and the Woman raised her head.
"Yes, it's in your room somewhere."
It looks like your luck is starting to turn around.
Entering Temah's room, you were hit with a heavy smell of perfume making you gag. Temah must have been the type to dress up for Shinu and others. Looking around you find things that support your claim.
She wore alot of lipstick where as you stopped wearing make up years ago. The dresses she wore looked expensive and some gift boxes sat on the closet floor, most likely from Shinu.
You check further into the room, searching until you find the diary. The journal fell onto the ground as you picked it up.
Reading through the contents, you go through some of her dialogues.
Most were about her love for Shinu, others were about her getting her job and her love for her family.
You made sure to memorize the important events she went through.
"Oh, you found it, dear. Does any of the information sound familiar?" The mother smiles softly, leaning against the bedroom door.
You shake your head, causing her frown. "Shinu saved me during the festival from an oncoming attack from a hilichurrl camp." You slow speak, making her eyes light up. She nodded merrily, walking towards you.
"Yes! He saved you and escorted you home that night; such a sweet young man." She muttered under her breath about marriage.
The guilt you felt piled up, making your throat constrict. "Is Shinu my fiance… Mother?"
"Shinu is your boyfriend. Don't tell him I said this, but was going to propose to you today." Your heart leaped in your throat, making you choke harshly.
Your "Mother" told Shinu and your "Father" the good news. The bright aura of the room created more anxiety.
This was not how you expected your day to go. This in fact made you more guilty.

The makers of <Take Us Home> discussing Bai Yu and his character Xijue:
Producer Xiong Xiaoling: Xijue laoshi is just perfect-- I mean Bai Yu laoshi. The director and I have both worked with Bai Yu before so when we read the script we were already inserting Bai Yu into the role so he did match perfectly. And we also came to understand a lot of subtle similarities between them (Bai Yu and Xijue) throughout the process
Author of the original novel Di An: when I write, I never have a very clear picture of what these characters faces look like, the image is always blurred or just a silhouette in my head. However when I saw Ma Liyi laoshi and Bai Yu laoshi's interactions as Xijue and Dongni, including the very complex tensions between them, I suddenly felt like they brought to life the atmosphere written in the novel
Director Lin Yan: (Ma Yili and Bai Yu as Dongni and Xijue were) very very good. With Bai Yu, I honestly just know him way too well, it's our 4th time working together. But these 4 times were all when we were in our own different life stages, so we watched each other grow. This time, what left the deepest impact on me from Bai Yu's performance wasn't 1 scene, its how he brought out all of his energy to portray the role of Xijue. When we met a few days ago, he was still telling me "acting Xijue really emptied me of all my vitality". Even up until now he still says acting Xijue completely drained him, even though filming finished 1 year ago. This 4th time working with Bai Yu, the improvement in his acting, the inner pivoting point and the strength of his performance as his role really made me so happy. We worked together too many times, I've been constantly watching gradual improvements in his performance and his ability to shape his character all these years. So meeting again, filming a complex show together with a complex character, the improvement in his acting blew me away.
Author Di An: of course the character I'm most heartbroken for is Xijue. He just suffers so much! I can't remember what was going through my head when I wrote the first book <Xijue>, I was only 25 years old I really dumped everything bad on 1 character! Now I feel like I went too far.... in the following book <Dongni> I didn't fix anything for him, I just let him keep suffering... Once he became a very familiar person to me, I felt really bad for putting him through that. I was thinking while writing, if their third uncle/auntie pass away, will this family still stand? Is there a child in the next generation who can become the person who pulls the family together? i used to think it might be Xijue. But after I finished writing I'm not so sure, its very complex.
Scriptwriter Wu Nan: the traditional big Chinese family is disappearing. That's what's precious about <Take Us Home>, it touches on this issue. Do we really wish for Xijue to keep such a big family together? From an individual perspective, Xijue needs to live his own life, that's the modern day values in this society.
Author Di An: Dongni and Xijue are like two sides of a coin. It's impossible for them to spiritually/mentally separate from one another and exist on their own.
Scriptwriter Wu Nan: I think the ending is quite gentle. Everyone's definition of a satisfactory ending is different. But I think the ending they had in the drama is quite gentle, at least more so than what Di An gave them!
Director Lin Yan: Bai Yu's crying scenes are real raw emotion. Every single time he cries my heart hurts. On one hand I have to admit that it's Xijue I'm heartbroken for but when we're on set I feel for Bai Yu more. Because he really used every cell in his body to shed tears for Xijue.
Scriptwriter Wu Nan: every crying scene Bai Yu has, he cries differently. It's so magical
Director Lin Yan: because the reason why he cries is different
Scriptwriter Wu Nan: every time he cries in a way that expresses all the different reasons! It's just so unfathomable!
Producer Xiong Xiaolin: I would be all too happy (if Ma YiLi and Bai Yu could work together again in another production)
Director Lin Yan: I definitely will work with Bai Yu again.
Q: why does Xijue love Jiang Yi so much? He seems to always go for jiejie types, older than him, is it because of his original family?
Director Lin Yan: that definitely plays a part. And Jiang Yi's appearance in that point in his life was like meeting That person at That time
(sorry I am unable to attach the video in any other way as it is too long and file size too big!!)

Commanderies and States of Western Han, Part 1
This is really only for the really specially interested, but having done the work I thought I might as well put it out here.
From the geographic treatise in Ban Gu's Hanshu with the commentary by Yan Shigu.
The reader will note that unlike later similar works, the commanderies are not grouped by province.
Jingzhaoyin
Governor of Jingzhao京兆尹, formerly Qin's Neishi內史. 1st Year of Emperor Gao [206 BC], it belonged to Sai state塞國. 2nd Year [205 BC], it changed to become Weinan commandery渭南郡. 9th Year [198 BC], it was restored to Neishi內史. Emperor Wu's 6th Year of Jianyuan [135 BC], divided it off to be Youneishi右內史, 1st Year of Taichu [104 BC], it changed to become Governor of Jingzhao京兆尹. 2nd Year of Yuanshi [2 AD], 195 702 households, 682 468 people[a]. 12 counties:

[2]Xinfeng新豐. Li Mountain驪山 is to the south. Formerly the Li Rong's state驪戎國. Qin called it Liyi驪邑. 7th Year of Gaozu [200 BC], set it up[c].
[3]Chuansikong船司空, Mang called it Chuanli船利[d].
[4]Lantian藍田. The mountains produce pretty jade. Has the Tiger Marquis's Mountain Shrine虎候山祠. Duke Xiao of Qin [361 – 340 BC] set it up.
[5]Huayin華陰, formerly Yinjin陰晉. 5th Year of King Huiwen of Qin [333 BC], changed the name to Ningqin寧秦. 8th Year of Emperor Gao [199 BC], changed the name to Huayin華陰. Taihua Mountain is to the south, it has a shrine, the mountain of Yu province豫州. Jiling palace集靈宮, Emperor Wu erected it. Mang called it Huatan華壇.
[6]Zheng鄭, the district of King Xuan of Zhou's younger brother, Duke Huan of Zheng. Has an iron official[e].
[7]Hu湖, has Zhou's Sons of Heaven' shrines at two places. Formerly called Hu胡, in Emperor Wu's 1st Year of Jianyuan [140 BC], changed the name to Hu湖.
[8]Xiagui下邽[f].
[9]Nanling南陵. 7th Year of Emperor Wen [173 BC], set it up. Yi River沂水 sets out from Lantian valley藍田谷, to the north arrives at Baling霸陵 to enter the Ba River霸水. The Ba river霸水 likewise sets out from Lantian Valley藍田谷, going north it enters the Wei渭. The ancients called it Zi River水. Duke Mu of Qin [659 – 621 BC] changed the name to hence set forth the Merits of Ba, to look after sons and grandson[g].
[10]Fengming奉明, Emperor Xuan [79 – 49 BC] set it up.
[11]Baling霸陵, formerly Zhiyang芷陽. Emperor Wen [180 – 157 BC] changed the name. Mang named it Shuizhang水章.
[12]Duling杜陵, formerly the Earl of Du's state杜伯國, Emperor Xuan [79 – 49 BC] changed the name. Has Zhou's General of the Right, Du Zhu's Shrine周右將軍杜主祠 at at four places. Mang called it Rao'an饒安.
[a]Shigu says: Han's households and population must in the time of Yuanshi have been the most abundant and flourishing. For that reason the treatise lift them up and use them as the number. The ones after are all classified like this.
[b]Shigu says: Wang Mang usurped the throne, and changed the names of Han's commanderies and counties, generally altering them. The ones below are all classified like this.
[c]Ying Shao says: the Grand High August thought of returning home east. And so Gaozu built a city with courtyards, streets and wards in the image of Feng豐, and moved the people of Feng to fill it. For that reason it was titled Xinfeng新豐 [“New Feng”].

[e]Ying Shao says: “The fief of King Xuan's younger brother of the [same] mother You. His son and King Ping moved east, which was further called Xinzheng [“New Zheng”].”
Your Subject Zan says: “Zhou, since King Mu and downwards had the capital at Xizheng新鄭 [“Western Zheng”], and did not get to use it as fief of Duke Huan. In the beginning Duke Huan was Zhou's Minister over the Masses. The kingly house was about to be chaotic, and for that reason he planned with Scribe Bo to convey the treasure to give bribes for between Guo虢 and Hui會. When King You was defeated, after two years he then wiped out Kuai會, after four years he then wiped out Guo虢, and settled at the hill of Zhengfu鄭父. Hence he became Duke Huan of Zheng, there are no writings of a fief in Jingzhao京兆.”
Shigu says: “The Outer Transmittals of Spring and Autum states: “When King You was defeated, Duke Huan of Zheng died there. His son Duke Wu and King Ping turned back east”. For that reason Mister Zuo's Transmittals states: “When our Zhou moved east, it was Jin and Zheng they relied on.” Also when Duke Zhuang of Zheng states: “Our previous lord's new town was here”, it is perhaps the road to Xinzheng新鄭. King Mu below were without affairs of a capital at Xizheng西鄭. Zan's explanations was wrong. Kuai會 is pronounced gong工+wai外.”
[Baxter & Sagart state: Present hui會 was then pronounced (h- + -waj C), present kuai會was then pronounced(k- + -waj C). 工 was then pronounced (k- + -uwng A). 外 was then pronounced (ng- + -waj C). Your Humble Tumbler says: Therefore here 會 should be read as (k- + -waj C) which should give kuai.]
[f]Ying Shao says: “Duke Wu of Qin invaded the Gui邽 Rong, and set up to have Shanggui上邽[“Upper Gui”]. For that reason they added Xia下 [“Lower”].
Shigu says: “邽 is pronounced gui圭. They took the people of the Gui Rong, and the came to this county.”
[g]Shigu says: “Xi沂 is pronounced xian先+li歷. The Observed Readings says shi示[?].”
[Baxter & Sagart state: 沂 was pronounced (ng- + -j+j A). 先was pronounced (s- + -en C). 歷 was pronounced (l- + -ek D). Your Humble Tumbler says: Therefore here 沂 should be read as (s- + -ek D) which should give xi like in 析]

[g]Ying Shao says: “It is on the sunny-side of Pin River頻水.”
[h]Ying Shao says: “Overlooks [lin臨] the Jin River晉水, for that reason it was called Linjin臨晉.
Your Subject Zan says: “Jin River晉水 is in the midst of the He河. This county is to the west of the He西. Do not get to state that it overlooks the Jin River晉水. The old explanation says, Qin built a tall rampart so as to overlook Jin state晉國, for that reason it was Linjin臨晉.”
Shigu says: “Zan's explanation is correct. Those who explain sometimes consider it to be when Marquis Wen of Wei invaded Qin, he first set up Linjin, which is wrong. Marquis Wen heavily walled it and that was all, how was he first to set it up!”
[i]Ying Shao says: “It is on the sunny-side of He River郃水.”
Shigu says: “Pronounced he合. Just where the Great Odes' poem of Great Clarity speaks of as 'On the sunny-side of the Qia洽.'”

Because Serpanade-Toons on DeviantArt has Yi and Li Na as step-sisters in her multiverse, it inspired me to make a crossover ship collage of Yi's (unnamed) mother and Mr. Wang. As Mrs. Wang wasn't seen or mentioned in Wish Dragon while Yi's father had passed away before the events of Abominable, I can see how these two might end up together (unless S-T has plans to have someone else as Yi and Li Na's parents). "LiYi" is the familyship title I came up with for the collage, as some friendships and familyships can have ship titles as well. Not just the romantic kind of ships.
