a/n: hiii omg i'm sorry i don't know who yukito is (i assume they're from the other bsd light novel which i haven't read yet) so i replaced them with tecchou because i haven't written for him in a bit i hope that's okay

has zero experience helping with drunk people especially because he doesn't drink much himself

he's actually pretty torn between wanting to take care of you and calling for help because he's not confident in himself

you're literally passed out over the bar mumbling every now and then and sigma is giving himself a pep talk

"you're the owner of the fricking sky casino!! you can take care of one drunk person!!"

when he finally decides to take you home that's when you spring back to life from your unconscious state and decide you're hungry and want pancakes

of course sigma's going to get you pancakes he can never say no to you especially when you're making a pouty face at him

that's how the two of you ended up in a diner at three in the morning with a big pile of pancakes on the table

sigma is about to order syrup when you decide to pour ketchup all over your pancakes and begin eating and he's just downright horrified

he's about to stop you but you look so happy and content with eating your ketchup pancakes that he just busies himself with trying not to throw up and reminding himself that he loves you very much

after eating your pancakes you have the bright idea to go to the playground dragging sigma by the hand with you

okay but he's never been to a playground and even though you're really drunk, he doesn't want to stop you as you eagerly sit on the swings and ask to be pushed

your laughter is super infectious and sigma's having a fun time as you two have a contest to see who could swing highest

it ends with you getting dizzy and throwing up on the ground so now sigma has to take you home for real

okay his instinct when he sees you downing shots clearly trying to get drunk is 'do i have to take care of this one?'

i'm sorry he's just not used to taking care of people and having empathy you're honor but he's trying

and he tries to be a good boyfriend by deciding to take care of you and making sure you don't do anything stupid

first step is taking the shotglass from your hand and suggesting that it's time for you two to go home (he's naturally very good at persuasion and you're very drunk so it doesn't take much)

jouno thinks he can talk his way into getting you to take a taxi with home and just taking a nap on the way home

sorry man he can't penetrate that alcoholic haze and you're busy blasting music from your phone in the car while jouno pretends he doesn't know you

and then you start texting him asking where he is while you're literally sitting beside you and jouno finds it wildly funny

i'm sorry but this little shit will text you playing along that he's already home and watch you cry in the taxi thinking he abandoned you

ok but after five minutes he feels sorry for you and makes his presence beside you in the taxi known

now you're hugging him with both your arms and legs with no sign of letting go and jouno just sits there and pretends to put up with it but he's secretly enjoying it

after you get out of the taxi to head to your apartment jouno thinks its smooth sailing from there but then you flop on the ground claiming that gravity has its hold on you

cue jouno revisiting his previous dilemma about whether to leave you or not

but he doesn't he just grits his teeth, slings your arm over his shoulder, and half-carries you to the elevator up to your apartment

he actually has a fair bit of experience taking care of drunk people because he and teruko are literally the only one's who help fukuchi when he's had a bit too much to drink

tecchou isn't one who drinks so much if at all so he's already accepted his role as the Sober One to take care of you

and he takes his role very seriously, he even spent the whole night protecting your drink whenever you weren't attending to it

you've already pre-warned him that when you start dancing, that's when you're really drunk and tecchou has it etched in his mind

he'll probably sit you down and request for you to drink three glasses of water to get the alcohol out of your system

in no way are you going to pour the glass of water over your head, right?

and then you do and tecchou reaches a hand out to stop it only to get you both soaking wet but surprisingly it isn't enough for you to be sober but he certainly is more alert now

he's about to offer his jacket and get you to change out of your wet clothes when you get back to dancing in the middle of the room that you're in

but when you pull him to dance with you he's unable to say no

tecchou actually has a hard time saying 'no' to you, especially when you're giggly and hyper from all the alcohol

he's very stiff with his dancing and you move as if you don't have bones so you guys are a perfect match and a sight to see

unfortunately all that dancing causes you to pass out and now he has to give you a piggyback ride home because the buses aren't traveling anymore

and the entire time you're just rambling about the weirdest things that pop into your head but tecchou thinks about pretty weird things too so he's the perfect conversation partner for this

"tecchou, do you think i could be reborn as an octopus in your next life?" "i think so but maybe not eating octopus from now on will improve your chances."

a/n: full disclosure but this chapter is kinda a mess because i forgot this little thing called Planning but more stuff goes down and then even more after lmao i hope you guys are ready for how messy this is gonna be

fyodor didn’t know why he was so on edge tonight. he didn’t exactly hate being in the party even if everyone was loud and more than a little drunk. in fact, he was having a pretty good time so far while he was watching yours and nikolai’s magic show that he had to admit was quite impressive. even sigma, who was seated beside fyodor, was cheering them on when nikolai magically sawed you in half.

the thing is, fyodor didn’t know what exactly the relationship between you and your friends were but he eventually decided that they were a little too touchy. especially the guy named chuuya who had his arm around your shoulder for a little too long than fyodor would have liked. and when dazai came in... well, he just had to step out for a bit to avoid drawing attention to himself.

was he actually jealous though? just reading sigma’s text irked fyodor because feelings of jealousy should already be beneath someone like him. but now that he could feel himself glaring at the two guys who were clearly flirting with you while you were seated with sigma at the table, it felt even more stupid to actually deny that he was jealous.

were you really that dense that you didn’t even realize you were being flirted with? fyodor felt his jaw clench slightly but at this point all that was registering was the surprise on your face when he appeared beside you.

“fyodor! you’re back! where were you all this time?” you smiled as he walked over.

“he a friend of yours?” one of the guys asked, nodding his head up at fyodor. if he wasn’t already irked before, he was definitely now.

fyodor didn’t answer. instead, he sat down on the armrest of your chair and used his leg to push away the chair the guy was sitting on. one of his hands found its way on your shoulder.

“what the he--” 

“find your own,” fyodor cut the guy off. “y/n’s with me.”

↠ lmao yeah fyodor left kind of abruptly as soon as dazai came in because our boi is amazing at being insufferable and of course everyone but y/n noticed

even after weeks of dating you, poe was still too shy to ever initiate a kiss. in all honesty, he had never kissed anyone either so it would be his first. in books, kisses between the couple always came naturally. there was always the right moment when it would be initiated and the characters always knew what to do.

except, he didn’t know what to do. does he take you somewhere special or just wait for it to happen at the best moment? and where would poe hold you, on your waist? your cheek? 

you, on the other hand, could tell just how anxious your boyfriend was being while you were cuddled up against poe in your favorite reading nook in the library just by how karl kept scurrying about. and just like poe, you’ve been waiting for your first kiss too.

‘could it be that he’s nervous about it?’ you thought, watching poe mutter whatever he was reading out loud. well, it made sense considering how he was practically shaking when he first asked you out and then during your first dinner date.

but, just like then, you weren’t afraid to take matters into your own hands.

“hey, poe, what does this mean?” you asked, to get your boyfriend’s attention. the effect was instantaneous and poe leaned over to take a look at what you were reading. his face was just inches from yours and you placed a hand on his cheek before leaning in to kiss him.

poe was caught completely off-guard and you couldn’t miss how his body stiffened up just for a bit before relaxing into the kiss. you moved your lips against his before feeling poe’s hand cup your cheek to pull you closer. while kissing him, you could tell that he smiled just a little bit.

“well?” you smiled once the two of you pulled apart.

“well... that was... nice,” poe swallowed, blinking hard.

“i didn’t think i’d ever see the day when you’d be at a loss for words,” you giggled. poe blushed furiously before looking shyly at you.

“well, it’s you after all.”

the two of you met at the armed detective agency where you were working part-time as a clerk

actually, it was you who approached poe during the after-party with the battle of the guild because you noticed he looked kind of scared and awkward

you just sat beside him and tried to strike up a conversation but before either of you knew it, you were both chatting about your favorite books 

poe definitely finds you to be a comforting presence while he’s in the very chaotic agency

you were actually looking for a nice quiet place to read and poe invited you to spend time in one of his stories that had a nice library for you

it actually happened to have a piano there and he was surprised when you walked up to it and started playing

he loves listening to you play and having these reading sessions in the library. poe makes sure that there are a good number of thick blankets there too in case you want to sleep a bit

when he notices that even karl likes cuddling or resting on your lap while you read, he takes it as a sign that you two go well together

poe isn’t much of a fan of busy places but he lets you take him to your favorite place at midnight to hang out

later on, he ends up asking you out by inviting you to play a mystery novel game in one of his stories. even though poe already knows how to solve the mystery, he keeps it quiet and enjoys watching you put the pieces of the puzzle together

at the end of the story, the ‘mystery’ to be solved was actually poe’s feelings for you and he confessed through a final coded message that you were meant to decode

the two of you make the cutest couple and definitely have a lot more fun together
