Sunbeam has grown on me even more and i loved her chapters in Thunder. I'm satisfied with the direction they're going right now in the story and the characters. Sunbeam learning to break free from her mother's toxicity, finding herself in Thunderclan and making friends with the in-laws. Her and Finchlight are so sweet

As one of the founding members of HowlingClan, she especially feels the importance of protecting and taking care of the clan. She rarely uses her claws and teeth, preferring to take a peacekeeping approach with compassion and words. She’s always been more passive, her insecurities keeping her from approaching situations with assertiveness or typical Warrior-aggression.  When HowlingClan was young, she served among the warrior ranks, but now that clan has grown in numbers and strength, Palebreeze feels herself drawing further away from the lifestyle of a warrior. Perhaps one day, she’ll join Duskskip as a fellow Mediator and tend to the disputes of their clan. And with so many new kits in the nursery, some orphaned, her motherly touch might be what HowlingClan needs right now.

Palebreeze is a prominent figure among HowlingClan, well-liked and loved by many, especially by Beambark, one of her oldest friends. Beambark always let her voice her thoughts without fear of judgment, and it was no surprise when Palebreeze realized her romantic feelings for the moody medicine cat. However, she refrained from letting her love known, fearing rejection from the medicine cat who held tight to her loyalty to The Code of Old While on a lone patrol to collect her thoughts, Palebreeze came across the Thunderpath that divided HowlingClan and the TwolegPlace and found a collapsed she-cat with an awful injury. Palebreeze trudged the she-cat back to camp, where she did, in fact, make a full recovery.  The stranger introduced herself to HowlingClan as a kittypet who left her home behind to pursue life among the clans after being guided by StarClan. Her supposed strong connection to their warrior ancestors was questionable, and the clan was suspicious when the kittypet told them she even received her name, “Pansyskitter” from Starclan themselves. Palebreeze liked the strange she-cat, however, and the two grew into quite great friends, Pansyskitter always making time for the warrior between her new medicine cat duties.  She wondered if this silly, cheerful she-cat was sent into her life for something more, and Palebreeze tried to entertain the idea of a life together. But she never felt the same festering love as she did for Beambark, and even though a future with her seemed like an unreachable dream, Palebreeze’s heart never wavered, and neither did her hopes. And then, one day, she was approached by an unusually emotional Beambark, and was shocked and overjoyed when the medicine cat finally confessed her own love for Palebreeze.  With tears in her eyes, Palebreeze laughed. "It's about time! I was waiting for you to get the nerve to finally ask me out." 

- I can't see her having biological kits. But she's always there for every new kit in the clan, and maybe one day, fate will bless her with a kit to adopt as her own <3

-She'll probably become a mediator soon, now that HowlingClan has so many able warriors now. And she'll be in favor of Beambark's views too, sooo that'll be interesting ..

Howlingclan has been Beambark's home since the dawning of the clan itself, and she's proud to be among their ranks as their dutiful Head-Medicine-Cat. She's the backbone of the clan and lives to see them prosper. She's never gotten along with its leader, Tawnystar, however, dismissive and critical of his choices. Their relationship has only worsened as the seasons have passed, and Beambark fosters a hatred for the HowlingClan leader. Having a close allyship with the senior warriors, she knows she'll have their support if Tawnystar's leadership ever needs to be reevaluated... But she hopes that day will never come, for the sake of the clan.

Beambark has always been faithful to The Code of Old, and doesn't believe that Medicine Cats should ever take mates and have kits of their own. Their focus should be solely set on their clan. However, no amount of personal belief could keep her feelings for warrior Palebreeze from budding and blossoming to a staggering degree. The two have been close companions all their lives and Beambark's most trust ally, but she refused to explore her own feelings with Palebreeze, and hoped the she-cat would take on a mate of her own. It would easier to move on that way... But as the seasons carried on, Beambark and Palebreeze have only gravitated closer in their age, and finally it seemed Beambark could no longer contain her terrible secret. She confessed to Palebreeze of the love she's harbored for her since they were in their prime all those moons ago. Palebreeze laughed. "It's about time! I was waiting for you to get the nerve to finally ask me out."

Having kits of her own had never been an enticing fantasy for the medicine cat, regardless of her feelings on The Code of Old. However, one fateful day while Beambark was looking for herbs near the wetlands, she discovered a young kit as quiet and still as the water he sat by, seemingly abandoned. The radiant sun peaking over the treetops shone through the early morning rain shower, spreading a sheen of beautiful colors, and the kit's eyes sparkled. Beambark could never abandon a helpless kit, and so she guided him back to the HowlingClan camp where he would be cared for. But there was just something about the kit that felt very special to the senior medicine cat... To the surprise of her clanmates, Beambark announced her guardianship over the little kit, and gave him the name Rainbowkit.

- Her name was auto-generated and I never changed it, even though I'm not sure what 'Beam' might represent for her. Maybe her eyes. But 'Bark' is very fitting for this grouchy lady

- Wears red petals in her thick pelt - Cuts in her ear cause she's definitely been in fights - Bringing up Rainbowkit to be her apprentice.

I def will be drawing Palebreeze and Rainbowkit, but I got 29 cats with stories I'm way to invested in, so I'll get there eventually ,,

Or do they find themselves in the void, encased in soundless black, haunted by the faces they used to know? Cuestastar feels a presence, overwhelming and bleak as she sits in the endless dark. It's her. The one she's failed the most. - Cuestastar is one of my favorite wc ocs !! and probably one of my most developed ones even tho I haven't had her for long,, She's originally from a roleplay group called Cold-Bright-Lights that ended awhile back. But I still want to explore her story and write more for this tragic lady c: I had many, many plans,,

This was so much fun drawing wtf.  First time doing crossover shit- I really never do it, but I'm kinda into it now. Translating their human traits to pony bodies was challenging,, like the hairstyles took forever! It was fun figuring out the cutiemarks and tryin to make em unique. I thought Sam's should be more centered about being a lore nerd, and Dean's with monster hunting. I wanted Dean to be kinda fluffy lookin, an adorable bean, to contrast with his personality. A cruel cosmic joke. mm, and pony Sam is a stud I,,, I got so many headcannons built up for this crossover... If legit ANYONE is into this, I might post em. I mean,, I might post em anyway, otherwise its just gonna sit in my head gathering dust --

Cinnamonkit was one of the first among HowlingClan, raised by the small but tight-knit group, having no other known kin to tend to her.  She was full of spirit and had a certain thirst for adventure that kept her dreaming of the day she would have her own grand stories to tell. But in the meantime, she was content listening to Mousestorm’s tales of his very long life before HowlingClan came to be, and the kit became very fond of the elder. Sunblossom and Palebreeze also took quite a liking to the spirited she-kit, but Sunblossom specifically had an interest in mentoring Cinnamonkit when she was apprenticed. Sunblossom was a promising deputy, and Tawnystar felt confident in her capability to train the future apprentice when the time arrived. But due to an incident unknown to Cinnamonpaw, she was instead apprenticed to Tawnystar himself. He encouraged her liveliness and instilled in her strong inner morals. But that didn’t always keep Cinnamonpaw from making impulsive decisions sometimes. When she became a warrior, she was honored for her daringness and spirit and named Cinnamonstreak. Cinnamonstreak remained close to Sunblossom, admiring the older warrior and always eager to lend an ear. The tension between Tawnystar and Sunblossom during her apprenticeship had always confused her; they were best friends, weren’t they? Sunblossom explained to her one day the truth that the rest of the clan were never told… Cinnamonstreak respected her mentor, but Sunblossom was like an older sister to her, so she sided with the deputy’s story, causing her to feel differently about Tawnystar.   What a mouse-brained reason why Sunblossom was never appointed as her mentor.

As time passed and HowlingClan flourished, Cinnamonstreak was thriving in her warriorship! She was always ready for excitement and adventure, and that sometimes led her away from clan territory. She met a tomcat once. Who? No cat knows yet. In fact, no one in HowlingClan even knew Cinnamonstreak was pregnant before her kits came. Her pregnancy was unexpected, and an anxious Cinnamonstreak decided not to tell her clan, even the medicine cats, too uncertain of what her future held. HowlingClan was considerably more open-minded than the other clans, allowing in outsiders and accepting half-blooded kits. But Cinnamonstreak couldn’t shake the sense of shame that clung to her, so she kept it all a secret, hoping for more time that fate had no intention of giving. In the middle of a leaf-bare night, Cinnamonstreak went into unexpected labor and was wrecked with terrible pain. She managed to drag herself to the center of camp before collapsing, her wails awakening the clan. The medicine cats rushed to assist the young queen through her premature birth, with the clan watching in shock and apprehension from afar. The birth was stressful, and the three tiny kits survived their early entry into the world. However, Cinamonstreak was exhausted from the endeavor and continued to bleed profusely, despite the medicine cats’ efforts to stem it and Palebreeze's urgent cries to hold on. She became very sleepy, and all she wanted to do was succumb to that feeling. Cinnamonstreak gazed with love at her three beautiful children tucked in her paws, and they were the last thing she saw before drifting asleep. Cinnamonstreak woke up in a world she did not recognize, but the glittering, starry figure of Mousestorm was there to guide her paws.

the trouble child Nightheart OKAY my headcanon voice for him is a TIE between Smokescreen from Transformers Prime and Shade from the Silverwings tv show. They both fit too good!! Personalities fit too tbh Every time I've drawn Nightheart, it was as a moody lil angst boi, and I haven't vibed with any of the designs I've done for him either. But after reading Shadow, I like that we got to see a bit more personality from him- his confident, cocky, and a lil charismatic when it suits him, and it totally inspired me I really like this final design I settled with too. Not-quite-black with hints of Firestar orange, the black stripe beard and swoopy Protagonist Hair™ lmao. I've really been trying to stylize more, as I've always taken designs way to literally and realistically and it's been kinda boring. Frostpaw and Sunbeam are up next, but I also really wanna do Berryheart too! Got any other suggestions for asc characters?

the floof baby Frostpaw I'm really happy with her design ! All the wintery snowflake vibes for the frost baby ❄️❄️ design aside,, I'm not sure how I feel about Frostpaw. I sympathize for her havin' to deal with so much absolute shit every literal second, but besides that,, I'm not super attached yet. Sad bean is sad I like that she's gaining some confidence in her warrior training. Might be farfetched, but I would be so down for her becoming a badass medicine cat toward the end of the series, whose super sweet n caring but not afraid to throw down either,, cause she's done feeling helpless "I'm a healer, but..."

saltiness ahead ! I enjoyed Darkness Within. My favorite of the MCs is def Shadowsight. SO. Let. Me. Tell. You. Shadowsight getting told off by Mothwing and getting his status revoked did not please me. 

Shadowsight getting downgraded is another topic with its own issues, but the confrontation with Mothwing is what I'm mainly peeved at. GURl, you have no right. Get off your high horse and leave my son alone. (honestly, her self-importance and bitchiness were so unpleasant to read. Like she's starclan's gift to shadowclan)

Mothwing is the last cat who should be able to judge Shadowsight on his decision-making and character judgment. She had continuously lied to her clan, funnily also about StarClan related things, for her own self-benefit as well as her brother's. She knew what did was wrong and did feel repentant, but she did it anyway and kept it secret. It didn't help anyone but herself and Hawkfrost. Shadowsight at least thought he was doing right, and honestly wanted to help the clans, only to be deceived and made fool of. There was no reason why he shouldn't have believed he was talking to a StarClan cat. I really don't think any "older" cat would have faired differently in Shadowsight's position. Later we saw just how incredibly cunning Ashfur could be, able to fool all 5 clans in Bramblestar's skin, so cats need to lay off this poor boi for being tricked by this evil mastermind of a cat 

Idk, I'm salty. I thought Mothwing would've been sympathetic toward Shadowsight because she's also made mistakes that made her a social pariah, but nope, that didn't happen.  And then...Tigerstar and Puddleshine... really? Ya'll really gonna punish my boy? Ain't he suffered enough? Where is Dovewing?? Shadow feeling ostracized from Shadowclan was honestly so heartbreaking, and his expressions of grief and self-loathing were really sad to read

I hardly do warriors fanart, especially scenes, so when this part in the book came up, I really wanted to draw it! Bristlefrost is not my favorite cat, but I was touched by her traumatic reaction to Stemleaf's sudden death, her clanmate, her friend, and her first love. I wasn't very sympathetic toward Bristlefrost until this book when we get to see all this extra pressure set on her shoulders from the Rebels, fake psycho Bramblestar, and even her own clanmates.

As big of a pain it was to figure out this drawing, I did enjoy the challenge. I wanted to do a whole dramatic perspective angle, but it didn't end up exactly the way that I originally imagined due to my lack of experience and the lack of photo references for help. Had to go with what I could do. But I really liked playing with backgrounds and coloring. I'd like to do a Bristlefrost design ref sheet soon ^^

I dunno why, but flamepaw really gives me 'main anime protagonist" vibes. I keep hearing like a young Eren from AoT whenever he talks. Originally I pictured Flamepaw as a black-orange tortoiseshell, but I guess he's solid black in canon, (but I'm tempted now a year later to redesign him again.) I made him a little fluffy like granddaddy Bramble, and gave him harsher lines since he has more of a rigid personality with a tendency to sharply lash out.  I also really wanted to add some kinda pattern too that would help him stand out, so I added some darker flame markings. I like how they turned out,, but god they were annoying to color! 

I really like Flamepaw/Nightheart so far. Yea, he's another Firestar descendant MC, but I think he's one of the only Firestar's kin characters we see that actually wants to be their own person with their own identity, instead of latching onto the image of a long-since dead hero. Maybe Alderheart was like that too,, i don't remember.. His frustration with his family and the pressure they set on him make Flamepaw so much more interesting. Feel like he's the only realist in his lineage. His rocky relationship with Sparkpelt is lovely too! He feels like a very real character right now, and I'm so there for that.

Bramble naming him Flameheart was such a little painful jab for himxD I loved that whole scene. Cats don't lose their shit enough. Nightheart is a really cute name, but there's already 4 thunderclan kitties with heart suffixes, including his own uncle. I wouldn't have minded the name Nightflame, because 'flame' strikes me as someone whose bold and driven, but I guess "heart" could also work in that way too. Fireheart, after all. I'm just happy he didn't name himself Nightpelt/fur or somethin' we've seen 100 times over, cause I'm so done with boring suffixes for main cast/notable characters. Lookin at you SparkPELT and TwigBRANCH -_- Sparkpelt really deserved to be named Sparkfire...

This scene legitimately made me feel nervous, and I'm shook, considering this is a book about cats, so props to the Erins. I would love more eerie, horror-esque imagery from the writers.

I love love this drawin! I think it's one of my favorites. I got inspired to draw this scene right after reading it. So many teefs! It was also painfully tedious, but I got major practice in drawing teeth and open-mouthed expressions, so that's a plus.

I'ma have to do more fanart of Rootboy. I was gonna give him short fur like how I picture Tree, but I somehow ended up with a fluffy boi. Like to think he inherited it from grandma Moonlight ^^

I really enjoyed Lost Stars and the mystery in it, and our new cast of main characters.  This is the scene at the very end of the book, where we're met with quite a great cliffhanger. I wanted to draw it instantly. I guess Rootpaw was in a clearing when his went down, but while I was reading I pictured it by the lake? I realized that after I'd already done the background, but not changing it now. I love it anyway.  A much older art style ^^; 2019 baby

I'm thinking this would place in some BloodClanWinsAU. The big bad blood cats move in and the clans are divided and rapidly weakening. Meanwhile, there's Firestar doing the best he can under Scourge to keep his clan off the cutting board, and facing a lot of hate from his clanmates. In this au, Firestar surrenders to Scourge during the great battle, after 1) losing too many cats, and 2) learning that the cats left at camp are being held hostage. If Scourge does not come out alive, then the remained of thunderclan will be slaughtered Firestar swears his loyalty to Scourge if his clan be spared, and now he's just kind of,,, existing.  I haven't written everything down yet, but at some point Bone just strolls into the picture,, and the two start getting along and finding some resemblance of comfort being around each other. life's hard ya know ? I like to think Firestar dug up his old collar to fit in better with the bloodclan cats moving in, and its just too fuckin' small for him now xD he chokin, help him! And boyfriend Bone is a very good boyfriend. Also I reeaallllyyy like this red for his collar ^^ I wasn't sure what color to go with
