man restaurants are bad. like im a food safety/child labor laws pedant now but it's crazy how many times i was either sick(!!!!!) or doing overtime or clocked in at 5am(6am is legal) at my food job when i was 16. like food bosses have to get training that goes "dont let sick people work" in the first hour but they're 5x less okay with you staying home than like, an office or retail manager

#like “go home if you're jaundiced or puking or feverish and then get cleared” is the rule but then you join the workforce and theyre like #“ok but did you throw up On the line??”#also lmfaooooooooooooooooooooo thinking about when i left this job and they failed inspection in a week because i was the only safety cop #i do kinda miss getting called fifo though
