Esplorazioni ed esperimenti

Bòn quindi, rieccoci! In questo periodo di assenza dal mio blog mi sono dedicato ad alcuni giri esplorativi nel Parco di Montevecchia e valle del Curone. Ciò in cerca di buone locations per il mio progetto di fotolibro da esporre a Bottega dell’Immagine in novembre, ma anche per possibili ritratti ambientati, quando potrò esercitare in autonomia questa branca dell’Arte.

Armato alla leggera, della sola macchina fotografica e un paio di lenti (il takumar 135mm f 2,5 Bayonet, e il samyang 10mm f 2,8 UMC - Autofocus, a che serve?) ho fatto qualche bella sgambata, un giorno lungo il sentiero numero 7 e l’altro lungo la prima parte dell’11. Deluso la prima volta e molto più soddisfatto la seconda, mi resta da esplorare un’altra zona più a sud, ove il sito del parco afferma esserci un castello visibile. Chissà in che condizioni e quanto è visibile, se è fotogenico, magari utile al mio progetto. Non so, dovrò esplorare e vedere.

Già che c’ero, però, una volta a casa gli scatti li ho sviluppati provando a trasferire nella paesaggistica parte o in toto il workflow di sviluppo appreso durante il workshop di Ritratto Creativo, con Alessio Albi. 

Ebbene, questi che qui condivido sono i risultati ottenuti. Ancora imperfetti, ma dopotutto viaggiavo leggero. Ultimata la fase esplorativa mi porterò dietro tutto quel che serve per ottenere il massimo del risultato finale.

Novembre, volendo, non è così lontano. E pazienza se non potrò fare viaggi. I soldi mancano, quindi di necessità si deve fare virtù: i parchi della Brianza saranno una volta ancora palestra per la mia creatività. Sapendo bene che, alla fine, la costanza e la dedizione sconfiggono il mero talento.

i changed my name with a deedpoll over a year ago and i’ve managed to change my details everywhere with it apart from my new gp service. i handed in my deedpoll (original one because they said they could accept copies) and they have refused to accept it because it doesn’t have an embossed stamp on it. i can’t afford to get one from a solicitor and i’ve taken evidence showing that i’ve changed my details in other places but i’m not sure what else i can do to get them to accept it.

Frustratingly, an un-stamped and un-enrolled deed poll is completely legal, but there’s an awful lot of misinformation about this because there’s basically no simple and explicit guidance.

It might be helpful to bypass your GP surgery and contact either PALS or your local CCG, who should either be able to advise your GP surgery or intervene and change your details for you.

It’s also worth directly challenging them on why they are asking for a stamped deed poll: unless they can answer this question, providing evidence that it’s necessary (when it’s not necessary in any other situation, including at other GP practices) then they really shouldn’t be asking for it!
