Oh no, how did the monk find out about that? It wasn’t like he had told Tripitaka about the fact he was with the scholar — least that all he seemed to know THANKFULLY. Already feeling his fur fluffing up in the moment and becoming flustered. He was going to have to apologies to Tang later for being dragged into this.

There was still a lot that he hadn’t explained to the newly revived monk since they found one another. After all, he didn’t want to overwhelm his master BUT it seemed he already knew a few things. What else did the man know?

This was...going to be interesting.

No one is eating the monk, not while he draws breath. This was definitely one of those situations where you DIDN’T want to ‘fuck around and find out’.
