I think the main reason why Lokius makes sense to me is because at their core, Mobius and Loki are both lonely people who have been looking for a meaningful connection their whole lives and found it within each other.

Mobius is the first person who not only believes in Loki but fully embraces the mischievous side of him. He doesn't want Loki to change. He likes and accepts Loki just the way he is - something no one apart from Frigga, perhaps, has ever done.

Meanwhile Loki is the first person who listened when Mobius talked about the things he's passionate about. And not only that, he also remembers. He's helping Mobius live rather than just exist, thus giving him the opportunity to become more than a TVA agent.

Loki is Mobius's spark and Mobius is Loki's home, and no matter what story Marvel is trying to tell here, I think that's beautiful.

This is literally a love story.

Loki in season 1 thought love is an imaginary dagger because he’d never had a real love (and everything with Sylvie wasn’t real either) but Mobius has been redefining love for him the entire time and showing him what love is or can properly be!!!!!!!!!!

The contrast of Thor telling Sacred Timeline Loki that he's the God of Mischief but he could me more and Mobius telling TVA Loki that he's THE God of Mischief so own it, accept it and be at peace with who you are is actually making me v emotional

i'm watching loki s2ep4 and it is so apparent that sylvie is everything loki used to be. the anger. the scorn. the righteous rage, the cynicism and the strong opinions and the sharp edges. she represents everything he’s matured out of. put up against how loki's so calm and level-headed in the pie room it just shows how much he's grown as a person; he's the god of mischief, yes, but he's chilled out. don't get me wrong— he still very much has his sharp edges. his knives are still tucked just beneath the surface. but he uses them strategically now, like with brad, and they're not just flying all over the place in explosions where he doesn't really care what damage he causes. he's not soft, but he's steady. he's centered and focused where sylvie's wound-up and almost erratic and it's so interesting because you can literally see how hanging around mobius and the things he’s been through have balanced him out, and now he's logical and composed and he's doing it all on his own. it's literally like watching him have a conversation with his past self and it makes his development that much more appreciatable. i love this show.

On a lighter note, I can’t wait to see what Natalie Holt has called all of the tracks for this episode, presumably they’ll be things like:

‘I’m a single Dad, here’s my number”

“How do I look? Gotta talk to my crush”

And

“TVA? I think you mean T-V-Gay!”

My professor asked me if I was okay today because I looked sad how do I explain to him that one of my favorite character is doomed to an eternity of isolation when the only thing they never wanted was to be alone and the only thing they ever wanted was to be loved and just when they start to have people that loves them and fall in love they can’t even be with the person they love most and can only watch from afar as he lives his life because of plot reasons.

I need everyone to understand that this shot came after a very deliberate storytelling sequence where Sylvie and Loki separated, and after Loki made the active choice not to follow her (a reversal of s1 ep2), and after he made the active choice to stay at the TVA and stay with Mobius

and speaking of Choices that were made: this image right here was excessively choreographed and is very POSED

this moment right here is not, strictly speaking, “realistic” behavior; they had everyone freeze and Loki do this action of putting his hand on Mobius’ shoulder because it’s for the audience to Notice

I like the idea that lokius’s gay pining is pathetically obvious to everyone in the tva except themselves.

like after mobius jumps brad during the first interrogation in episode 2, they leave brad and b-15 behind, and brad just goes, “they’re definitely fucking, right?” and b-15 tells him all of the tva workers have a running bet for how long it will take one of them to confess and who it will be.
