Me: refreshing email every 5 minutes to see if my much deserved gift to myself has cleared the hold up at customs inspection.
#still a no#past couple of years has been like this#suddenly customs is inspecting EVERYTHING#that comes from overseas post#never had that problem prior to 2021#now it is all the time#and often the box is mangled with the stuff falling out#when I get it#literally once a postal service person#knocked on my door#to present me a nice hand knit scarf#bc the outer package had been destroyed in inspection#postal worker even said: nice scarf#and that he wanted to make sure I got it#(he was from the nation of origin package was from#and wanted to chat w/me for a min#lol— it was from Etsy but very nice postal worker ;)#anyhow- this package has tiny pricy things in it#am concerned…. but oh well#(gorgeous handmade watercolors)#(a lovely set of 24 plus a half dozen additional#half pans which are small#and a few odds and ends that go with it all)
