I know my blog doesn’t have like, any followers, but I wanna make it clear that transmisogynists are not welcome here. I also know for a fact I have some people I need to unfollow for being transmisogynists. The last few months I’ve been very, very confused by wtf “transandrophobia” was, and I had only ever seen the “good” side of it, and never the side of it being used to actively hurt trans women. I’ll admit I’m still confused on certain things, but I’m not above admitting that I might be wrong and I’m willing to learn, so thank you for your patience.

To any trans women/trans fems who follow me: I support you, and I want you to feel safe here.

Edit: I’m retracting the bit about transandrophobia, since some of y’all have been really kind (genuinely) and helped explain the theory to me (as well as the antisemitism behind the “truther” term, which I apologize for).

To any fellow trans men/trans mascs that follow me: I want you to ALSO feel safe here. Even if my original message came from a good place, it was still worded poorly and painted us in a bad light. I won’t delete this post cause I don’t want to hide from my misconceptions and help others like me who are confused, and because I want to stand behind the message that transphobia of any kind is NOT welcome here. My roots are in tumblr, it's in my blood. My first blog would be going into highschool soon if it were a person

Honestly though I just didn't wanna deal with Twitter being a dumpster fire and this was the next best social media (that I was familiar with) for actually interacting with people lol

ramble under the cut, no warnings but it turned into a much longer and kinda introspective post than originally intended oops

kinda tempted to just clear this blog and use it as a directory of our other blogs or clear it and then only use it to rb our posts from our other projects... but honestly i dunno what to really do with it bc we're very rarely on tumblr anymore >_>;

we're finally working our way back to being social after our several years of social burnout (and we're still not fully recovered yet) so part of us Wants to be more active in various social media spaces. but also I have no idea what we would even post about at this point. we have a million projects that we could post about maybe? but tumblr doesn't really tend to be a space for projects outside of art- or text-based things (eg. flags, comics, text resources) so i dunno if our current main projects (coding-related) would like... be worth it to post about here

there's also the fact that we want to be active outside of stuff to do with our projects bc it kinda feels like we've turned from the "social butterfly" we were called as a kid into "the only thing we can talk about is our Content Tee Em because that's All We Can Focus On" and that sucks. feels very corpo. i mean we don't have a ton of a choice bc we desperately need at least one of our projects to go somewhere so we can maybe turn this into a full-time thing, but frankly i don't want our existence defined by the projects we do and i'm trying really hard to reverse the damage that has done 😭 i want to exist outside of how many lines of code we wrote this month!! (and i know the only person putting that pressure on us is me but aaaaaaa)
