And although it still hurts because I miss you so much, I got up and took my ass to go meet the seller who came into town just to give me a tour of his properties. In the 12th grade I hurt my knee in a pickup game, killing my dream of playing in The Association! And yes, I cried like a baby, day, after day, after day. I really did, because it was hard to accept, but I had no choice but to accept it. My heart was screaming foul, because at the time, I felt that it wasn't fair. At first, a situation or circumstance can seem horrible and unfair, but we must always remember; there are no set backs in life, there are only "Set Ups!" I was never meant to be a ball player, no matter how bad I wanted to become one. That was just not in my cards, and there is nothing I can ever do about it! Here's the set up; I was not born to be a great ball player, because I was born to be the wealthy owner, who hires great ball players. And its my passion for and knowledge of the game, that feeds my desire to become an owner.
