who is your personal favourite of the ROs?
My favorites right now are Luisa and Lorelei. They have a rivalry throughout the IF and I love both of them, mainly because they’re so similar in the ways they think and strategize but how they act on their motivations and thoughts will be a bit different. I feel like they’re two sides of the same coin, both of their personal goals have to do with being angry at an outside source (Synnøve for Luisa, her family and their rich circle for Lorelei) and finding revenge through rebuilding their own lives to their imagined standards of perfection. However, Luisa to me represents more of the inner world and Lorelei represents the external world when it comes to anger and the way our thoughts influence our actions. Luisa is much more private and isolated in general than Lorelei is, Lorelei is popular in Banyan Gulf and was once very praised and influential in it. These differences are shown in how they reach to achieve their goals and what means they most immediately resort to when things go awry for them.
I have a very specific image of how I want to display Lorelei and dig into her character that I wish I could inject into everyone’s minds without giving away any spoilers, but I’m so insanely excited for her character in particular and exploring her internal world and how it influences the strategies she uses to try to find what’s hidden in Synnøve’s mansion.
#I will admit that when I play it as if I’ve never read the book I’ll be doing the luisa and hall poly route though idc#luisa morales#lorelei wildes#interactive fiction wip#interactive novel#interactive game#interactive fiction#upcoming if

History Repeats Itself
masterlist
note: first jess one-shot!!! (and i'm actually proud of it???) also i say their baby is one but i don't know babies to well so if she's too advanced for a one year old, just cut me some slack
warnings: teen pregnancy, food/eating
word count: 4.7 k
♡ summary: Being a teen mom is hard but without any help it's even harder, after saving up enough she can finally move to Stars Hollow to be closer to her baby's father
♡ Jess Mariano x reader
request ✓
The bus ride down was long, and it only got worse as 1-year-old Caroline woke up from her nap and decided to let everyone know of the inconvenience. Finally after the long months of working and saving up she had enough to move to Stars Hollow, unlike Jess who had a parent to send them and an uncle to stay with, she saved up and made it happen. She wanted Caroline to be around her father, and she wanted to be close to Jess.
And Y/n’s always loved the idea of a small town, a place where you felt safe, a place she would feel safe raising her child in, a place that wasn’t $2,500 a month for a closet. Here she could give her daughter a lot more, here she would have a support system in Jess and Luke. Unlike what her parents would give her.
By this point in the bus route it was only the mother and daughter and a couple strays, she saw the messy haired boy sitting on a park bench close to the bus stop, of course he had his nose in a book. She started packing up Caroline’s stuff, tucking her blanket and toys in the basket of the stroller.
When she got to the bus doors, Jess quickly made his way to help her lift the stroller down the steps, when the stroller was once again on the ground Jess squats down getting face to face with his little girl, “Hey, Care!” “Daddy!” He lifted her up by her armpits. When the little girl was out of her seat and in her dad’s arms, her mom stacked their bags on the seat.
“Hi! You’re so big! Really she is. She’s growing up so fast.” “Well she can walk way more stable now. No more scaring, mommy that you’ll fall if I look away for a second.” She says the last sentence in baby voice while she tickles the girl’s belly to make her giggle and their foreheads to rest on each other’s.
“So you gonna show us around?!” “‘Around’?” They continued their walk around the gazebo area, walking towards Luke’s.
“This is it, that's the record shop, that’s the bookstore, that's Luke’s, and that’s all you need to know.” “Well where’s the bank, I might need to rob it later.” “You’ll find a job. And if you don’t then work at Luke’s, he could do with the time off then maybe he’d get off everyone’s backs.” “He’s probably stressed with you always causing trouble.” “Me? Trouble? Nooo, I’m a peach.”
-
Jess had the baby today since Y/n was off to find a job, her first stop was the most promising. Luke let her know that a friend of his needed extra staff at their Inn for an event that was coming up, someone who could be an assistant of sorts. So after wearing her most capable looking top, and best fitting jeans. She kissed Caroline’s check and yelled goodbye to Luke and Jess as she began her walk.
When she walked inside she saw a man at the front desk on the phone. Waiting to ask for directions, she hung around the man’s desk, busying herself with some pamphlet. She couldn't help but listen to the man’s angry English in his french accent.
Suddenly he hung up the phone and got back to writing whatever he was writing, without looking up and with an annoyed tone said, “Yes?” “I was looking for Lorelei, I’m here for-” “The assistant job, yes.. Follow me.” He walked quickly to wherever it was they were going, mumbling along the way, “Of course, an assistant. Just what we need around here. Not like I don’t already do most of the work around here.”
He opened the door for them, it ended up being the kitchen they were now in. A tall woman holding a to-go coffee cup that said ‘Luke’s’ on it and a shorter woman in an apron fighting with a scruffy man about vegetables, which look to be parsnips.
“The mini-you is here.” “One little comment, Micheal. I’m not saying you’re incapable. I just want more help with organising events so I focus on planning!” “Whatever.” Turning on his heels, Micheal walked out the doors making his way back to his desk.
“So you’ve met Micheal! Sorry, we usually don’t let him around the new people but we're a little short-staffed. Let’s head to the dining room.”
They sat down at a table in the dining room, Lorelei asked all the important questions, and Y/n was perfect, now she was just asking the things she’ll tell Sookie later when the woman asks about the new hire.
Taking a sip of her sixth coffee this morning Lorelei asked, “So, are you new to town? I haven’t seen you around before.” The girl was stirring milk into her second coffee as she responded, “Yeah, I am. I just moved here with my um- my daughter, closer to her dad so…”
Since it was of course the time most adults got horrified, thought she was a bad kid, and though she didn’t get that vibe from Lorelei, it was at least bound to shock her. “You’re daughter? How old are you? Wait- I know, it’s on your resume. I mean- I’m, deja vu y’know? Abba did say ‘the history books on the shelf are always repeating themselves’.”
She must have seen the confused look on the young girl and explained, “I had my daughter when I was sixteen.. And came here to get a job, so just getting major deja vu. Well then, since I know what you’re going through, I won’t put you through the short mental torture of waiting for a call I was gonna do and just tell you you got the job.” “Oh, thank you! I really need this, I can’t thank you enough.” “Just change her name to Lorelei and we’ll call it even.” “deal.” Those two would get along great, much to Luke’s misfortune.
-
Y/n sat at the counter with Caroline in front of her sitting on the counter while she played with her mother’s hair. Jess was filling up cups of coffee and serving customers while he listened to Y/n’s words.
“So until you go back to school, you’ll have Caroline during the day here and when I’m done work I’ll take her.” “No, you’ll never have a break. After work you go to your house, relax then grab her after dinner.”
Jess may have this ‘I only care about myself’ attitude but that never included Caroline and Y/n, he’d kill for either of them at any given moment. He always put them first. If thought Y/n needed a break, she was getting a break whether she wanted it or not.
Just as the girl was going to thank him she was interrupted by another girl around their age coming to sit down at the counter, two over from her.
“I have the book you lent me.” She said, unknowingly interrupting the conversation since Jess was facing the coffee machine to make a new batch when she sat down. “Oh, thanks.” He muttered, notably not turning to face her.
On the inside Jess felt guilty. Why did he feel guilty? He didn’t do anything, he and Y/n weren’t together, nevermind the fact that all he did was lend Rory a book. As friends. Because they’re friends. But nonetheless it almost felt like cheating. Jess and Y/n may not be together officially but that didn’t mean that they both didn’t love each other. And not just because they were the parents to a beautiful little girl. Jess had always wanted more, he’d let the girl know that more than a handful of times, and she let him know it wasn’t unrequited, yet something always came between them.
You’d think having a baby together would bring them closer, and in some ways it did; they trusted each other more. But they also fought more and being the dumb teenagers they were, they didn’t have the emotional ability to move past that and build the relationship they both wanted. And then when they felt they were ready to, Jess was sent to live with his uncle. Just another fork in the road. But now they were living in the same town and had a good system, and people to support them. It was the perfect time, everything was going right, they could feel all the feelings that never really left resurfacing.
“Okay, I have to get to work. You’ve got her?” “Yeah.” “Bye, baby, I love you. I’ll see you in a little bit, but you get to spend all day with daddy.” “Bye-bye, mommy!”
She said bye to Jess after she walked around the counter and handed him Caroline, muttering a small ‘go see, daddy’ that Rory most definitely heard.
When the door finally chimed shut Rory shot up to follow Jess to the table he was now setting Caroline up at. She watched his gentle movements as he readjusts her shirt and places crayons and paper in front of her, which she got right into scriballing away.
“She’s yours?” “Yeah.” “.. So that girl is your girlfri-" "I’ve got work to do.”
-
The warm atmosphere of the dinner is a stark contrast to the cold winter air. Noticing Jess and Caroline are nowhere to be seen she assumes they were upstairs and makes her way up the stairs. Half-way up the flight of stairs she could hear her little girl’s loud giggles. She quietly opens the door to see Jess holding Caroline above his head, as if she was flying.
When she first got pregnant everyone told her Jess wouldn’t be a good dad, that she can’t rely on him for anything. God were they wrong. She doesn’t think it’s possible for her baby to have a better person as a dad. She sadly doesn’t get to watch the scene for much longer as she’s spotted by little Caroline.
“Mommy! I see daddy ‘morrow?” “Yes, you get to be with daddy all day tomorrow too.” “Yay!”
As the conversation between them goes on, Jess lets his little girl plant her feet back on the ground and starts collecting some things she’ll need during the night before she comes back here tomorrow, he then starts getting Caroline’s shoes on her feet. While Y/n sits on the couch next to their little girl.
“So who was that girl this morning?” “Who?”
Jess always did this, it was a tell tale sign that he didn’t want to talk about it, but that’s never stopped Y/n before. “You know who.” Of course having to be difficult, Jess gives her a fake confused look, as if he’s never met another girl in his life.
“The one returning your book.” “Oh, that girl.” “Yeah, that girl.” “She’s nobody.” “So you just lend books to ‘nobody’s now?” “Care, where’s Mr.Wiggle?” The girl lets out a gasp and reaches out for Jess to help her off the couch, when he does she runs into the closet where she previously hid while playing hide and seek a couple hours earlier.
“What? Don’t want Care to hear about her new step-mom?” “Don’t call her that.” “What? Care? Only you can call her that?” “No, don’t call Rory Care’s ‘step-mom’.” “Rory! I get her name!”
Jess was a quiet guy, but not this quiet, especially not with Y/n. He didn’t want to talk about Rory, maybe because it was weird talking about another girl with your baby momma. And yes it was weird for Y/n too, but for a completely different reason, she assumes. She liked Jess, and has since before she even knew about Caroline.
“C’mon, Jess, it’s me. I want you to be happy.” Sure Rory made him happy, but only because she was the only friend he had here, it wasn’t the way Y/n made him happy. Before he could deny for words again Caroline came back running into the room with her stuffie in her hands. Having already said her goodbyes, she opened the door and walked out.
“Caroline, wait hun! I think you should go for it Jess.”
She walked out the door, closing it behind her, leaving Jess to stare at where she disappeared. He decided to take her advice, just maybe not the way she meant it
-
Y/n helped Caroline pack more snow onto their snowman. Caroline wanted to do it after she heard Luke complaining about town events again, he stopped complaining when he saw how excited the girl was. They had Mr.Wiggles off the side learning against the tree, using him as a reference.
“Mommy, no. Mr.Wiggles has more hair.”
Caroline was getting very comfortable ordering her mother around, but in this instance Y/n let it slide, poking more sticks on the top of the snowman’s head to mimic Mr.Wiggle’s spiky hair.
“That’s good!”
Lorelei and Rory were just one snowman down, both told Caroline they thought she would win and encouraged her before she even started. Since they were so close, they could hear the scene that had just played out.
“Tough age, wait till you get to the terrible twos. ‘No’ is all you’ll hear.” Lorelei said, kindly as her and her own daughter walked past them. Y/n let out a laugh at the comment before she asks, “You guys done already?” “No, but after Michelangelo over there busted out the power buffer, and when Caroline busts out her cuteness, what chance do we have?” “I see your point.” “So off to Luke’s we go.” “We’ll see you there in a bit.”
-
Y/n was standing talking to one of the decorators when she saw Lorelei and Sookie step out of the kitchen, quickly finishing her directions she wrote down a note on her clipboard then made her way to meet them at the entrance of the dining room.
When Sookie sees her, she asks, “What’re we looking at today?” Sookie was really fun to work with, like Lorelei she was very chill as a boss, but Sookie was also so kind and always took it upon herself to make sure Y/n has eaten and that her and Caroline are taken care of. She could tell the woman was going to make an amazing mother.
“This is last on the list.” She replied, after she took a quick glance at her clipboard, then continued, “We’ve got trumpets, the madrigal singers-” “Sorry to interrupt, but I’m not playing squire of Bracebridge.”
Sookie and Lorelei must have finally told Jackson to play the squire, they told her earlier in the week that they were playing to ask at the last moments so he had to. It was a flawless plan, especially when Jackson can’t say no to Sookie.
She saw that Lorelei and Sookie were just ignoring him, so she played along and continued down her list, “All the servers are lined up. This is just for the recorder players and harpists.” She stopped at the recorder players and let Lorelei talk to them, “Hi. Lay some on us, guys.”
The two recorder players played the soft tube they were going to come accustomed to in the next few days. The three of them shared positive looks and when their playing came to an end, Sookie said, “Hey, you cats really know how to blow those things.” Lorelei continued Sookie’s comment by saying, “You’ve got the gig. Y/n here will call you later with the details. Thanks.”
Recorder players started packing their things, Jackson started again on the fact that he wouldn’t play the squire, and the three women continued to ignore him.
“When do the quests arrive?” “Thursday at four on their own jet.” “After buying out the whole inn.”
“Must be nice to have money.” Y/n added, checking off and writing down more notes on her clipboard.
“You know what struck me today?” “-Was it the fact that I am not the squire?-""We’re crazy for doing this.” “We’re beyond crazy.” It did feel crazy, Lorelei told her they’d never done a function this big before and that’s the reason they hired more help. Like her, but also that they were planning to do a lot more big things like this, more weddings, and such.
“We’re ‘Anne Heche speaking her secret language to god and looking for the spaceship in Fresno’ kinda crazy.” “Oquinis no-goodo noto.” Sookie said, causing Y/n add, “Il ecnatra dos guidan.”
Their nonsense was once again interrupted by Jackson, “And spring this on me at the last minute too. I mean, that’s just manipulative.” Suddenly a cook pops his head out of the kitchen, saying calmly, “Sookie- fire!”
Sookie rolled her eyes softly, this happened far too often, before saying, “I gotta get back in the kitchen. You guys handle the harps?” Both women nodded and replied in unison, “You got it.”
“Alright. I’ll do it. I’ll play squire Bracebridge if that’s what you want.” Everyone knew he would cave eventually. Sookie patted his arm and said a quick, “Thanks, sweetie.” before walking back into the kitchen to hopefully deal with the fire. “As long as it’s not just because I fit the costume.” Jackson looked back at Lorelei and Y/n, Lorelei had a grin on her face while Y/n wore a tight-lipped smile. “It’s because I fit the costume, isn’t it?” He followed after Sookie.
Lorelei put her arm around Y/n and led them to the harpist, “Go ahead.” The harpist played the same tune as the two recorder players. But just as the woman started, Lorelei got a call. She patted Y/n’s arm, “I have to take this, you handle the harpist.”
The girl tried to stay calm, nodding her head and going back to listening to the music. Lorelei trusted her, yes it wasn’t a big job by any means, but still it was a step into a bigger role down the line.
-
The next day, Sookie and Y/n had all the waiters/performers in the dining room going over what their job was. And teaching them the old English words to use for things.
Sookie was just telling Rune that he couldn’t just talk like an old man whe Lorelei came in with a disappointed look on her face, and let them know the dinner was off.
The three women, as well as Rory and Caroline were now sitting at a table at Luke’s, Caroline was happily eating her pancakes, plain just as she liked and completely unaware of the collective disappointment of the group.
Lorelei has really welcomed Y/n into her life. She may not be Jess’s biggest fan, but she would always help another teen mom out. Especially since she sees so much of herself in Y/n. She’s grown to really love the girl in the short time they’ve known each other. And aftering hearing Y/n didn’t have her family in her life she was more than happy to help and maybe become that family for her one day. Just like Mia did for her.
“I’ve got 30 pounds of aged beef, trays and trays of trout, mountains of prune tarts. I diced pumpkins until my hands turned orange. I’ve got pumpkin hands!” Sookie showed the table her hands, it apparently caught Caroline’s attention since she grabbed Sookie’s right hand and held it in her left while she continued eating. Sookie lets her hand rest in the little girl’s while she freaks out more and asks Lorelei, “How can you stay so calm?” “There’s nothing we can do about it.”
Rory was just as upset, mostly because she knew how hard her mother worked on the planning, “I can’t believe they got snowed in.” Y/n hasn’t told Jess, but she’s become pretty close to Rory, the girl sometimes comes to the Inn and helps around and Rory’s become kinda her only friend, that was until Rory invited her to the record store with Lane. After that day she had two friends.
After knowing Rory more, she realised how much she and Jess have in common, and even though Rory has a boyfriend she can tell there’s an attraction to Jess she’s trying so hard to hide.
Y/n zoned out for a moment, looking outside, she was upset that the first event she helped organise wouldn’t even happen. She was broken from her stare out the window from Caroline jumping in place while sitting on her mom’s lap, the cause of which was Luke coming to the table.
“You girls want anything besides coffee?” He asked, adding on with a pat on the girl’s head, “Or pancakes?” “Hey, what about Luke?” “What about him?” “He eats, and Jess eats. Doesn’t Jess eat?” Sookie directs the question at Y/n, before the girl could say anything Luke cuts her off, “What’s she doing?” “I think she’s inviting you for dinner.”
Getting distracted while trying to convince Luke to come to dinner, the four decide to still put on the dinner for the town. Like an out of control slumber-party.
-
The dinner was going great, the secret amazing part of inviting the town was that Y/n and Caroline could actually meet everyone. Miss. Patty and Babette loved Y/n and Caroline (mostly Caroline), Caroline loved Kirk, and everyone loved that Caroline could do whatever she wanted and Talor wouldn’t say anything. And Y/n got to meet Paris after all the stories she’s heard.
Caroline and Y/n were in line for the horse drawn carriage rides, when Caroline saw her favourite person, Lane. “Laney! I ride with you!” Lane, before agreeing, made eye contact with Y/n to make sure it was okay. Y/n gave them the go ahead and helped Caroline get settled. After their carriage left she made her way to the next one. Telling the driver it’s just her.
It was nice to get a break from everything. It was quiet and peaceful. Well that was until Jess ran up and hopped on the carriage next to her. Without a word he put the blanket that was over the girl’s legs on his too.
“I thought you and Care were going together.” “She’s one ahead, with Lane.” “Ahhh. Well it’s two to a sleigh no more, no less. So you were breaking the rules, you're welcome for saving you.” “You could have hurt yourself.” “Aw, you care about me.” “You are my baby's father.”
She wished she just agreed with him. She didn’t just care for him because he was Caroline’s dad, and she doesn’t think she says it enough. But then again, maybe it would mess things up if she admitted that. But that decision was made for her.
“I’m touched.” “Jess. I don’t mean it like that. I care about you, Caroline or not.”
Trying to change the topic to something she thought was more lighthearted, she says, “So, how are things with Rory?” “There are no things with Rory.” “C’mon, Jess, we can talk about this stuff-” “Why are you so insistent that I date Rory?”
She wasn’t expecting that outburst. Not from Jess. He rarely ever yelled at her, and when he did it was always misplaced anger, never actually angry at her. This time it was her, it was what she said.
“I just want you to be happy-” “C’mon, Y/n. Be serious.” “I am. I want-” “If you want me to be happy so bad, why won’t you give me a chance?!”
He turned his face to her, looking right into her eyes, she could see the hurt in his. Did she put it there?
“What’re you-” “Since we found out about Caroline, I’ve tried and tried to help you realise that I love you. And not how you mean ‘I love you’. I don’t love and care for you because we have a family and I have to. I love you, because I want to. I want to be with you. And I know it will be hard, but I’ll do the work.”
If she had more social awareness at the pent she would have hated that the coachman heard all of that. But after what Jess said, the look in his eyes; that was so full of love. She felt like it was just them two in the world. No, that it was just their little family in the whole world. He and Caroline were all she would ever need.
“I love you too, Jess. I have for so long, long before Caroline, but I thought you wouldn’t want to be tied down to me, especially after I had Caroline, that any sign I thought you gave me was all in my head.” “It’s not.”
He brought her in closer to him, an arm around her shoulders and when her arms wrapped around his waist he left a kiss on the crown of her head. The small kiss brought her eyes up to him, which led to their first real kiss in one year and nine months.
His lips were softer than she remembered, but they still fit into hers as if they never left.
She broke away from their reuniting kiss to place her head in the crook of his neck, wanting nothing more than to be close to him.
“My mom didn’t want me to come home.” She took her head out of his neck to look at him fully. They were always that person for each other, the one you can tell your problem to and they knew when to help and when listening was enough. Right now, she knew listening was enough.
“I’m sorry, Jess.” “It’s fine. Just sucks.” “I know. Well, Care and I will always want you to come home.” After her words, he brought her closer than before. She was always just what he needed.
Wanting to change the subject, Jess nodded his head to the snowman Y/n and Caroline built. “It’s good.” “What?” “Your snowman, well Caroline’s snowman I'm sure she’d want me to say.” “You know which one’s ours?” “Definitely shows her personality… It kinda looks like Mr.Wiggles.” “That’s what we were going for. But everyone thinks the one on the end is going to win.” “Really? It’s so overdone.” “I agree.” “You and Care’s should win.” “Agree again.”
-
The dinner was filled with Jess and Luke confused at what exactly was in the food, Jess and Y/n trying their best to keep Caroline sat which about half an hour in they gave up and just let her walk around the lobby, as well as saying hello and talking to everyone at the table. Having an interesting conversation with Mrs.Kim about grace, ‘helping’ Kirk by sitting on his rolling food cart, and even talking with Paris for a while.
Overall it was a great night. Even better when Jess, Y/n, and Caroline got to their shared room, putting Caroline asleep together for the first time in a while. And falling to sleep in the same bed together, holding each other, listening to each other’s breaths, as well as Caroline’s. Everything was just how they both always secretly wanted. And now get to have openly and freely.
-
In the morning Y/n got up early since she was technically working, and she still was when Luke, Jess, and Caroline left to open the diner for the day. It was around noon when Y/n finally left, walking to Luke’s to spend the day with her two favourite people. Which was when she saw Michelangelo’s snowman fallen to a large pile of snow on the ground.
She didn’t even have to think for a second to know that Jess did it. Sometimes he did the weirdest things to show his love.
The bell rang as she pushed open the door, she sat down next to Caroline, saying ‘good morning’ and getting one back before she made her way to the counter.
“I saw what you did.” “What’d I do?” “Caroline will be happy she won.” “Anything if my girl’s win.”

arc the entirety of annapurna interactive resigned… i am gutted. i think games currently in development are supposed to be ok but who even can be sure anymore
wh
i
.... I mean. Okay. Wow. Um. I think yes, the in-production games will likely be okay if the plan is to merge the gaming division into the rest of the company.
This is such a fucking devastating blow, I feel totally blind-sided. Annapurna was, like, next to only Devolver for being a bankroller for interesting works of interactive art.
for those who don't know, here is a PARTIAL list of games Annapurna was involved in:
What Remains of Edith Finch (2017), Gorogoa (2017), Florence (2018), Outer fucking Wilds (2019), Telling Lies (2019), Kentucky Route Zero: TV Edition (the big collection from 2019), Twelve Minutes (2021), The Artful Escape (2021), Solar Ash (2021), Neon White (2022), Stray (2022), Cocoon (2023), Thirsty Suitors (2023), Lorelei and the Laser Eyes (2024)
All I can hope is that the entire team walking out can spin up their own publishing company, because they are without a doubt the best fucking eyes for talent in the entire fucking game industry right now.
i mean, except Twelve Minutes, but everyone's entitled to a miss.

My MC!Detective I've made for the @sanguinesky-if , Darcy Rowe. Her first outfit is definitely more of a "what she really wants to wear". Her second outfit is what she usually wears (jewlery, shirt styled in some way). The third outfit is how she ends up dressing during the events of the story (no jewlery, less styled, more stressed). Her hair is usually up while she's at work, I just couldn't resist drawing it down. A couple things:
- Yes she has black wavy hair + micro bangs, and black eyes.
- Her twin's name is Lorelei and not only is her hair longer, but she has light brown eyes and curtain bangs.
- Yes she has chronic closed-eyes-always-smiling anime trope syndrome.
- Yes this means Kyle managed to bag a goth baddie (and is fumbling her so, so hard).
- She fancies herself as a composed person who can not only handle her own emotions and emergencies, but other people's emotions and emergencies as well (which is why I always have fun pairing her with the hotheads). This has yet to be challenged.
- I like to headcannon that the rest of the precinct finds her to be cold hearted since she's continuing to act as if her mentor and father figure hasn't just died.
- (As if little things are starting to slip out behind closed doors, like how she fought against the feds taking over her case).
- Klemmens is just the dad from Full Metal Alchemist.
- If she can't hold someone at gun point and look hot doing so then what is the point™️
- If looks could cut...
Personality wise:
She's blunt, reserved, and distant except with her sister and Lexie (these scenes mess up her stats so I don't regard anything in the stat page as "canon"). Her sense of her humor can be dry and usually taunting, often leaving people who don't know her well to question if she's even joking in the first place.
Her relationships currently:
Lexie: Her good friend and someone whom she absolutely adores (but is completely friend-zoned; Darcy might be bi, but I was never really fond of the friends-to-lovers trope).
Kyle: The guy she hates to love. He's more than proven himself to be capable and reliable. In certain situations she even finds his temperamental nature enduring. But the way he seems to be satisfied with leading her on is leaving quite the bitter taste in her mouth. More than once she has concidered outright rejecting him and putting an end to what she keeps thinking is mutual attraction, but something always has her hesitating to do so...
Morgan: They call her by her title. They work well together, but not knowing them outside of work has always left a divide between the two. Their relationship is mostly professional, but after learning their actually a CID agent she is left her unsure on how to handle their relationship going forward.
CID: Initial encounter aside, she's chosen to be dismissive of them. She doesn't feel the need to respond to them unless it directly involves work. (She actively ignores R and has taken more of an action speaks louder than words approach).
Side Note: Kyle is her cannon route but I've been exploring the CID's routes with her with a "Kyle won't fucking do anything but the new arrivals seem to be interested" mindset, which is really fun. They are all so interesting ✨️
S: She keeps at a distance but can't help but to want know what he knows... as long as it's during office hours.
Definitely drawing more for this IF eventually!

Apocalypse is hard! So let’s give out some free hugs :)!
How would ROs react to MC wanting to hug them?
Let’s assume high affinity, because otherwise I feel there’re a couple ROs who might just smack MC in the face hahaha.
Also assuming this is a more lovey-dovey hug while out in public/surrounded by the others. A lot of the ROs will have very different responses depending upon the exact situations.
Merlin: They are nibbling. How, where, and in which way may be spoilers.
Adrian: Platonically offering his physical reassurance and-- is Lust MC grabbing his ass?!
Arthur: He's amused. Back in Camelot, people were very "art thou worthy to touch the king?" so he's been a bit touch-starved and is amused at hw touchy-feely the modern people can be.
Percy: "You need to hold on harder for a proper chokehold."
4̶̮̌͌͘0̴̩̰̖̌ͅ4̴͔̼̜̅ ̸͕̂̊̇͘Ȩ̷̤́̿̕r̶̼̬̹̀̓̚r̵̫̣͊̅o̵̲͉͌̇̔̃r̴̢̺̯̝͋̀͗ ̸̬̰̭̅N̴̤͈̊̈́͛̄o̵͈̿̉̀t̶̥̮̘̩̿ ̸͍͍̹͔̈͋͂F̴̗́o̶͚̙̅̎͜ủ̶̥̫͋͝ņ̶͈͐̉d̴̺̬̻̍̀̉͠: Oh boy. I hope this is far enough down their route or this is a Bad End right there.
Cassandra: Teasingly steps back and then hugs the MC from behind instead.
Gwen:
Vivian: I certainly hope you're propositioning her, because that's the way she's going to take it. One does not just simply hug a mari-morgan.
Lorelei: *needs more info about the MC and the situation as she's probably the most particular of the ROs here*
Broderick: *hurtles out of the way and somersaults out the nearest window--* Okay, but more seriously, he's fine with the friendly sidehugs, but will be getting embarrassed if the MC is going for something else in public.

omg I thought if this while I was daydreaming and I needed to make it lol
I loosely based that off of runaway by Kanye, I know he’s an asshole and allat, but he makes some good fucking songs I’ll tell you that
warnings: none, just cursing and Jessie boy being his sarcastic rude self
Reader is loraleis adopted daughter
Jess x artsy emoish! Reader ; angst
************************************************** Jess Mariano. How could you even begin to describe him? Sarcastic, funny, witty, kind of an asshole. Those would work. But to Jess, he was a coward. A phony. An idiot guy with no self respect and was too close minded to get the girl.
To him, you were everything. You were his everything. You were orange to his complementary blue. The sun to his clouds. The fire to his ice.
But he fucked it up. He didn’t tell you how he felt. He didn’t tell you how much he loved you. How much it hurt to not be near you. How tight his chest felt whiteout your love and affection.
You had left Stars Hollow in your junior year of highschool to go to some big fancy art and film school in California. Jess knew you would do great things. He just didn’t know those great things didn’t include stars hollow. Or him.
He stayed behind. He hated the heat, and sand, and valley girls. So he stayed. The only thing he wished was that you didn’t become a valley girl. Or that you would somehow in some weird way, forget him. But mostly that you wouldn’t become a valley girl. But this week, you were coming back. He knew the exact day and time you were coming. He even new the route your plane and bus home was taking. Do you yahoo, right? Your mom, Lorelei, was prepping for your return. Sookie was in your childhood kitchen, cooking and baking up your favorite meals and treats. Rory was prepping the decor, making sure to include your favorite fonts, colors and interests in the posters and decorations. And Jess. Well, he wasn’t doing much. In his mind he was. He was thinking up the exact things you guys would together. All your old spots and hangouts. He was thinking about how your hair looked. And how your eyes seemed to shine once they saw him. So, I’m a way, he was helping.
As he was busy thinking up a storm, Rory snuck up on him, kissing his temple and stroking his pretty jet black hair. Right. Jess was dating Rory. Rory was dating Jess. Jess looked up at his girlfriend and grimaced. Only slightly. He liked Rory, but he loved you. I guess living in the same house didn't mean the same face. Or personality. Or anything, really.
He kissed Rory softly on the lips, wishing so hard in his mind that it was you. He was being cruel. He knew this. But now seeing you every day was so damn hard on him. He didn’t know how to function. Luke himself would say that he locked him up in his room for days, weeks even.
Jess missed more than anything ever. Now was his chance to see you. To hold you. Maybe to tell you how he felt. No. Hurting Rory was too much at the moment, even with her recent breakup with dean. He couldn’t do that, right?
Soon enough, Babette caning running around the corner, opening the back door. “I just saw her bus pull in down near the gazebo, she’s gonna be here in five!” She yelled in her raspy voice. Every one lets out a simultaneous gasp, and begins to move even quicker. Rory lets go of her boyfriend with a smile, and goes back to her poster hanging. Jess stayed still, darting his eyes for my be window and the door, just waiting for his best friend to walk through the door.
Jess didn’t even have the power to kick back with the book that was tucked back in his back pocket. He was just too excited. The watched the door. And watched. And watched. The five minutes felt like hours. He wondered if you did your makeup in the way that you did. Black, smudgy and effortless. He wondered if you did your hair different. He wondered if you’d till sued the same cologne that you’d role form him two weeks after you met him. You never gave it back. He wondered about you. So much so that the door magically opened to you. You were panting, most likely due to the fact that you had so many bags with you, and the fact that you ran to the house.
“guess who’s back?” You yell out to the house. Rory squeals, forgetting about the decorations she was supposed to be hanging in your honor.
“I missed you!” She says, squeezing you tighter. “I missed you too, sissy.” You whisper back, nuzzling your face in her weirdly smooth and perfect hair.
You made your rounds around the house, hugging everyone that lived around the block. Once you had made your rounds, you looked around for one special person. You peek up the stairs, and see a tussle of black hair and a sort of skin tight longsleeve shirt you liked to call ‘the slut shirt’. “Hey Jesstifer,” you tease, using a nickname you know he hated, “come down here and give me a hug before I change my mind.” A smirk crosses both of your faces. Jess practically runs down the steps, attacking you in a bone crushing hug. “Missed me, did you?” You ask out if breath.
“Never, not your sorry theater kid ass.” He laughs. You detach yourself from Jess, and look at him. You look at his pretty brown eyes, his pretty cheekbones, and his extremely kissable lips. You look back up into his eyes. “Yeah, you missed me” you say. Jess shrugs, detaching his eyes from you. You were the one person to make him any sort of nervous. He hated that.
Later on, you had unpacked your bags, eaten the diner that Sookie had prepared, and gone up to your room. You were now reading with Jess, just as you had done years before.
Jess didn’t know how to talk to you. Not that anything had changed. It’s not like you can just blurt out, “hey, welcome back. Also did you know I’m dating your sister?” So, he stayed quiet.
While you read a book he had gotten you whilst you were away, he studied you. Your hair had gotten longer. And your makeup was just a bit more dramatic. Your face had somehow matured just a bit more. That sucked, now he couldn’t call you baby-face anymore. Your jaw line was more defined, as were your cheeks. He couldn’t stop staring. You had grown. He hated it, but also loved it. You noticed eyes on you, and looked up. “Do you need my camera to take a picture, or have you been staring so long that my face is already engrained in your mind?” You ask, tilting your head in amusement. Jess rolls his eyes, laughs a bit, before opening his mouth to speak. “Nah, I actually have a full wall in my room just of pictures of your sleeping face, just wanted to see if I needed one more for my collection” he smirks. You smile. Things were just as they used to be. Except, they weren't.
You and Rory were close. She was your sister for Christ sakes. You guys emailed and called whenever you could. Best friends do that. They talk about gossip at school, and hard tests and quizzes. They also talk about crushes. And new boyfriends. You already knew about Rory’s break with dean and how quick she had gotten with Jess right afterward. It hurt. A lot. ‘Jess was yours,’ you thought. he knew you and you knew him, it was a conjoined effort. Only your roommate would know how hard you cried. But of course so stayed strong for your sister. You were happy, but she should have- no she shouldn’t have. Jess didn’t like you, right? Jess loved Rory, that was that. So, you brushed off every romantic feeling towards Jess.
Well, you tried.
Seeing him so happy for your return was comforting, refreshing even. And it definitely didn’t help that Jess looked even hotter now then when you left. He had somehow gotten a bit taller, and his arms had toned out just a bit. His eyes read something you couldn't read, but it was noticeable.
You cursed yourself out for that. You were going to be in the film industry, with actors. You should really know how to read emotion. Jess was now the one to comment on your staring. “Do you need a camera?” He asks. You scoff. “No” you say. “ I don’t. I was just pointing out that you look even more ugly that I remember.” You end, pointing your chin up. Jess nodded and snickers. You both sit in silence for a little while longer, trying to explain everything you knew. Jess wanted to say how much he loved you, and how he would break things off with rory for you. You were trying to say how much you loved him, but you wouldn’t let that get in the way of Rory and his relationship. It was tiring. So, you spoke up. “You know, I was never much of a romantic,”
you say, trying to spark up some conversation. Jess looks up. “I could never take much intimacy,”
your eyes dart back and forth between Jess and your bed. Trying to find the words to say. “ I-“ you stutter. “I know you’re dating Rory.” You say quick and quiet. Jess eyes widen. “And I’m okay with that, I think.” Jess heart goes faster, he wish it would just calm down so he could speak just own word. “ I just wanted to say that,” you pause to take a deep breath. “I think I love you?” You look up at Jess for a while. His eyes still held something that you couldn’t read.
“the look in your eye is killing me” you speak, your voice slightly breaking.
Jess stares at you. He wondered what to say. What to think. What to do. “I love you too, I think.” He says. You gasp and look up at him. “no, you love Rory.” You hand clinched around your purple sheets, you were scared. You had lots of emotions, scared was rarely on the roster. “No, I love you. Rory was a distraction.” He says swift and quick. You hate when he dies that. It make him seem emotionless. Little did you know he only did that when he had too much emotion. Jess scoots closer to you on your bed, lightly touching your hand. You snatch your hand away. “You cant do that to her, Jessie,” Jess rolls his eyes. “She’ll hate me, I can’t have my sister hate me” you sternly say. Jess’s hand slowly moves away from yours, and he looks down at the floor. “It hurts so much without you.” He starts.
“You could blame me for everything, I just need you” his hand clenches at his jeans.
You move closer to him, pulling him in a haste kiss. Jess melts away at it. He grabs at you waist gingerly, feeling like if you were too he too hard, you could break. His lips are slightly chapped, but you don’t care. You never could. He taste like cigarettes and peach ice cream, the only thing he ate for dinner.
He couldn’t get enough. It was like you were a drug, one he was addicted to and didn’t even know it until now. you knew this was the last kiss you both would share for a long time. The taste of the passionate kiss moved more bittersweet after you thought of that fact. You hands were weaves in his hair, his hands tangled in yours.
This kiss was the start and end of you both. The end, goodbye, no more. You somehow wish you didn’t runaway.

I agree that the movies mess up a lot of the story, but I always chalked that up to them not having enough time to include everything, and having to sort of "speedrun" the route, and I know this is probably an empty exercise, but given how much time they had, how would you include all those left out bits into the movies? because there's so much they just couldn't put in, especially illya and kirei's stuff, that the third movie feels incredibly hollow, but I just don't know how they could put in everything. I don't get why they decided to cram the longest route in the vn into a movie trilogy
three movies wasn't the ideal format for adapting heaven's feel, but it's shocking how much filler (and I'm using this to refer to actual empty content which doesn't progress the story or anyone's character) was added to reach feature length
free up maybe 15-20 minutes per movie by trimming dead air from the fight scenes that weren't in the vn. they can even keep them! just take about five or ten minutes of random back-and-forth from each one
scenes like the slow-mo walk to sakura are bewildering. literally just fade to black before shirou starts walking and then fade in as he hugs her. that's all that scene needed, and it's a perfect microcosm of the over-animation problem that the movies have
illya's conversation with shirou where she lets on that she knows someone has to die at the end of the story needs to be reinserted. otherwise illya has basically nothing to go off of and just kind of leaves the narrative emptily in the finale
somewhat controversially, I think Nine Bullet Revolver could be cut down to about a quarter of its length and still have the same impact. make it sudden and violent and intense. explain things less.
the school flashbacks in the intro are fine, but if it's between them and getting more content in the first movie so that we can hacve die lorelei later on, you know which one I'm voting to keep
if we have time for both, insert the conversation between illya and sakura about what it means to be a grail and keep illya overhearing taiga talking about kiritsugu's overseas voyages. that's a fine way to adapt the scene where illya looks for kiritsugu in the emiya household without relying too heavily on someone knowing the full context
changing none of the pacing, just have rider and rin in-frame during the final walk to the flower viewing. it's such a disservice to every character in that scene to tighten the scope like that. it feels so cold, utterly devoid of the cathartic warmth that scene is supposed to have
move kotomine's recollection of claudia's death forward. start it when assassin hits him with zabaniya, then reveal the missing heart as the story ends (in contrast to how it happens now, where the story ends right before assassin uses zabaniya)
get rid of the random ninja jumping shirou does in the angra mainyu finale. just have him walk towards her. it's startling how much the movies would be improved by just letting shirou walk normally towards sakura more often
and lastly, to correct for the fact that so much of everyone's characterisation in the vn comes from shirou's monologue being able to describe subtler body language, move the camera to rin once or twice. have a few scenes that are framed from her perspective which make it clear that shirou's acting weird to the outside observer. he comes off as too much of gigachad otherwise

alex blake x reader drabble, 951 words summary: picking up a coffee for alex while on a case author’s note: this is my first time writing anything for fun in my life and it’s obviously my first time uploading my writing to the internet, so needless to say, i’m very nervous. i really hope you enjoy <3
౨ৎ⋆⭒˚.⋆ 𐙚✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁ 𐙚. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁✩₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧𐙚⋆⭒˚.⋆౨ৎ
It was 2pm and you and Hotch had just pulled into a parking spot outside of the precinct in the town you’ve been holed up in for the last three days. You had been out all day, first to two of the crime scenes and then to speak with the coroner who had examined one of the victim’s bodies and, if you were being honest with yourself, were really starting to drag. The thought of the slightly sludgy and flavourless coffee sitting in the pot in the kitchen of the precinct seemed very unappealing to you. “Hey do you mind if I grab a coffee before heading in?” you asked, while shutting the car door. “Not at all,” Hotch said as he rounded the SUV and started heading towards the precinct. “Want anything?” you called back as you split off from him, heading towards the coffee shop a block away that you had noticed on the drive back. “No, I’m okay.”
You walked into the coffee shop and were struck with how charming it was. Nothing like the trendy but admittedly stark type of coffee shop you’d normally frequent back in DC, this one was adorned with kitschy decorations and reminded you a little of Lorelei’s inn from Gilmore Girls. You ordered two oat lattes, one for you and one for Alex, who you knew was back at the precinct going over some notes with Spencer. Feeling slightly guilty at the thought of Spencer and not wanting to arise suspicion from him or Hotch about why you brought back a coffee for just Alex, you ordered an americano for Spence — and “oooh how about three snickerdoodle cookies? And you know what, I’ll take a bran muffin as well, thanks!” (You didn’t want to come back with nothing for Hotch, even though he said he didn’t want anything, and for some reason he didn’t strike you as a snickerdoodle type of guy)
While waiting at the end of the counter for your drinks, your four treats stuffed into your bag, your mind drifted back to Alex. You sort of had feelings for her (okay, you most definitely had feelings for her) and you were pretty sure those feelings were reciprocated, but it wasn’t something either of you have ever talked about or acknowledged out loud. But there was definitely something there. The way she adoringly looks at you has to mean something, as do the smiles you share, the constant glances you catch from her in your direction, the glances she catches from you in her direction. The lingering, but casual touches to your shoulder, her leg, the small of your back, the constant desire to be near each other. The wordless communication you seem to share, understanding each other’s feelings from just a look or a nod. The coffees you buy each other, the lunches, the dinners when you’re stuck late at the office together. You think back to that time in Seattle, when you, JJ, and Morgan were at a crime scene in the pouring rain. Alex had taken a detour while en route to speak with a witness just to drop off your FBI jacket you had accidentally left back at the precinct, wanting to get it to you because she knew you’d be freezing without it. It’s these little things that show you’re always thinking about each other and you know it has to mean something. You smiled at the memory but were taken out of your reverie by the barista calling your name to indicate your coffees were ready. You slipped your three drinks into a to go tray and headed out back towards the precinct.
You walked into the BAU’s designated conference room with your to go tray of coffees and saw Alex and Spencer standing at a whiteboard — Spencer scrawling something messily on the board, Alex’s eyes following his hand, eyebrows furrowed in concentration. She turned her head when she heard you and gave you a sweet smile as you crossed the room and handed her the latte. “Got this for you,” you said and your fingers brushed as you transferred the cup into her hand and you felt her fingers linger over yours a bit longer than necessary before she fully pulled the cup into her hand. “Oh! and…” you said, as you pulled out two snickerdoodles from your bag, handing one to her and the other to Spencer. You offered the tray of drinks toward Spencer and instructed him to take the cup closest to him. His face lit up and he gave you an excited thanks before grabbing his drink and setting it on the table next to him and pulling the cookie out of its bag and taking a bite.
Alex was watching you — no surveying you — throughout this interaction and couldn’t help herself but to smile, which you caught when you turned back towards her. She looked thoroughly enamoured with you and took a small sip as if to hide her smile and gave you a quiet “thank you” and a gentle squeeze to your arm before turning back to the board, making a comment to Spencer about something he had written down. You walked over to the conference table and joined Hotch next to the daunting stack of files he had waiting for you and passed him his muffin and received a thank you and rare smile in return. You took a sip of your latte and stole one more peak at Alex and noticed she was looking back at you with an appreciative, soft smile. You returned a smile before turning back to your files and concentrating on your work, albeit with a few butterflies in your stomach.

Upper Middle Rhine Valley
Today, we’re diving into the heart of Germany to explore the breathtaking Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a region that’s more than just a picturesque landscape—it’s a UNESCO World Heritage site steeped in history, culture, and natural beauty.
In 2002, the Upper Middle Rhine Valley was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its outstanding cultural landscape. The designation highlights the valley’s significance as a crossroads of history, art, and nature. The region’s preservation as a cultural landscape ensures that this unique blend of natural beauty and human achievement remains protected for future generations.
The Upper Middle Rhine Valley, stretching for about 65 kilometers between the cities of Bingen and Koblenz, is one of the most scenic stretches of river in the world. The Rhine River winds its way through steep, vineyard-covered hills, dotted with charming medieval towns, imposing castles, and romantic ruins. This landscape has inspired poets, artists, and composers for centuries, and it’s easy to see why.
One of the most striking features of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley is the incredible concentration of castles. There are more than 40 castles and fortresses along this stretch of the Rhine, each with its own story to tell. Some of the most famous include the medieval Marksburg Castle, which has never been destroyed, and the picturesque Rheinfels Castle, a massive ruin that once controlled much of the Rhine's trade.
No visit to the Upper Middle Rhine Valley would be complete without mentioning the Lorelei, a towering rock formation that has become one of the most famous symbols of the Rhine. According to legend, the Lorelei was a siren who lured sailors to their doom with her enchanting song. Today, visitors flock to this spot to take in the stunning views of the river and imagine the legends of old.
The valley is home to several historic towns and villages that seem frozen in time. Bacharach, with its half-timbered houses and vine-covered hills, is a favorite among visitors. St. Goar, situated at the foot of the Rheinfels Castle, offers panoramic views of the river and the surrounding landscape. And then there’s Rüdesheim, known for its lively wine taverns and the famous Drosselgasse, a narrow street filled with music and merriment.
The Upper Middle Rhine Valley isn’t just about castles and legends; it’s also one of Germany’s premier wine regions. The steep slopes are lined with vineyards that produce some of the best Riesling in the world. Many of the towns along the Rhine host wine festivals, where you can sample local vintages, enjoy traditional music, and soak in the convivial atmosphere.
The valley’s history dates back thousands of years, with traces of Roman settlements, medieval fortresses, and Renaissance architecture. This area has been a key transportation route for centuries, and its strategic importance is reflected in the fortifications that line the riverbanks. Exploring the Upper Middle Rhine Valley is like taking a journey through time, with each castle, town, and vineyard telling a piece of the story.
Visiting the Upper Middle Rhine Valley is an experience that combines history, nature, and culture in a way few other places can. Whether you’re cruising down the Rhine, hiking the hills, or exploring the quaint towns and castles, you’ll find yourself captivated by the valley’s timeless charm. And don’t forget to raise a glass of local Riesling to toast to the beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
The Upper Middle Rhine Valley is more than just a scenic destination—it’s a living testament to the enduring connection between people and the landscape. If you’re planning a trip to Germany, make sure to carve out time to explore this enchanting valley.🏰🍇

So, so far I recorded Belle's route with both endings and Lorelei's romantic ending. I have enough tickets to do Lorelei's route again for his vampire ending. I also downloaded it on my iPad but probably only have enough for Rapunzel's romantic ending (it's really hard to get affection with only 10 wardrobe spaces and using a walkthrough still doesn't give you enough affection so idk....)
Anyways I can't post them on here but I'll post it on YouTube. Here's the link to the first part of Lorelei's ch 1
https://youtu.be/rdHhv6hlX1c?si=JrdG5gqa1TJ6-jmv
I really loved this game. Even as I'm replaying the routes, it's not boring at all. I wish I could do both of Rapunzel's endings so I could read through them again in the future.

this if looks amazing! I love Luisa and Ruby already, and when I saw there’s a poly route with both of them— I’m more than in. I’m going to create the cutest lesbian polycule ever.
the plot itself seems really fascinating! Is there anything you can tell us about the MC? You mentioned we’d get to choose their motivation— how is that going to manifest?
all that aside, good luck with this if! :) I hope you have a lovely day!
Thank you so much for sending this, I appreciate it endlessly :) I’m so excited for the poly route with Luisa and Ruby, lesbian polycule is steaaaaaling my heart.
For info about MC there are some aspects I’m leaving up to MC to decide or leaving relatively vague in general. The main thing I’m establishing about MC at the start is that they have ties to their employer, Synnøve, through Synnøve being a “family friend” which is going to turn out to be a situation just as sketchy and vague as it might sound. I can’t reveal too much about that right now just to avoid spoilers, but I’m planning on doing a deep dive into MC’s ties with their employer as the story continues. The motivation of the employer (and how she knows MC through their family) is going to become a very big part of the story that is going to be revealed in pieces as the chapters go on. As for MC’s relationship with their family, I’m planning to also leave that to MC to decide. MC can choose if they’re close with their family, if not, or if they’re somewhere in between.
Another thing I’m going to establish with MC is that they’re going to start their final year of a bachelors degree in college. MC can choose what degree they’re obtaining out of a diverse set of options, which will give some fun bonus lines and unique experiences for MC to an extent depending on what they choose.
Apart from that, I’m really wanting the reader to have full customization with MC, from physical appearance to the way they act to — like you mentioned — their motivations. Early in the story MC will discover that hidden somewhere on their dead employer’s property is something that the whole cast of ROs is after. Some think what’s hidden is money, some believe it’s something more sinister. Each RO has their own motivation to find whatever lies hidden, which we will see surface in the first few chapters. Many surface level motivations have deeper meanings as well for the ROs — Lorelei wants money to rebuild her life and pay her debts so she seeks a fortune, but what it really means for her is the chance to be recognized by the world in her own individual light and bite back at the world for taking from her. This will manifest for MC in a very similar way. MC will be given varying information about what might be in the mansion to take and claim, and MC will be able to make their own decision about what that thing is and how/where to find it. They will also be able to decide through their actions what sort of meaning the search has for them, if they’re doing everything out of greed or out of love (helping ROs) or out of a variety of other potential motivations.
I hope this is a bit more of a clarification, thank you again for your lovely ask, anon :)

Sooo do the ro's have a particular physical feature they'd find appealing in a partner? Say in F mc or M mc
Merlin: The tastiness of your soul.
Adrian: Well, depending upon what route you took, Adrian might've already complimented the MC's eyes.
Arthur: Please simply refrain from being a crazed stalker. He likes overall figures more often than not. He's always impressed by muscles and toned bodies, but he generally expects most females to be softer than that.
Percy: Will canonically compliment the MC's bright hair dye, tattoos, or visible piercings once he finally makes it to the group.
4̴0̴4̷ ̵E̶r̵r̷o̵r̸ ̶N̵o̶t̴ ̸F̴o̷u̵n̴d̵: (눈_눈) Can you feel the absolute lack of fucks given here?
Cassandra: Overall package and how it fits together. Otherwise anything really attention-grabbing like violet or red eyes or natural silver hair and such.
Gwen: She only cares about what's inside of course and-- OMG get a load of the muscles/legs/badonkadonk on that one!
Vivian: Smooth skin, please. That's what you squishy humans are best known for!
Lorelei: She also kind of likes muscles, but is also drawn to nice hair.
Broderick: Ass.
