Next cab off the rank is the Lost Souls shawl, which I'm doing in the Hobbii Sultan Shadow yarn in purple.
Already covered in cat fur, excellent.
And as predicted, both of my sisters want one once I have finished mine.

Free Crochet Tutorial
The Lost Souls Shawl
Throwback to eons ago, when I crocheted this lost souls shawl. The tutorial is so clear and easy to follow and the project works up extremely fast. A perfect gift for any skull and/or halloween lover, or just for yourself. Enjoy! Picture is mine. (Tutorials below are in reverse order, you should start with the bottom one and work your way up)

Overwatch 2 queues took HOURS to pop. Then you can sometimes get an error or DC and wait all over again. 😔 I know OW2 literally just came out but damn I want a Halloween event already.
While waiting in que, I started making a “lost souls” shawl. 👻👻👻👻✨No one in my family can find the skulls. ✨💀💀I still say it’s obvious as to where the skulls are. 😤
This is how long overwatch ques are. Ty blizzard, I’ve almost made a entire shawl. 😭😂😭😂😂👻👻👻👻💀💀💀✨

Behold my latest project, made using the lost souls skull shawl pattern! I’ve had a lot of audiobooks to listen to for class, and I needed something to do with my hands. This bad boy ate three skeins of yarn, and honestly I’m a little shocked at how well the colors came out.
The electric blue is my softest yarn. I’m not spending all this time on a shawl only to never wear it because it irritates the hell out of my neck. Ask me how I know. It also lets you see that the finishing rows make tiny skull motifs, which I think is very cool.
Overall, this took me somewhere around ten hours. That’s not bad for something of this size.

Progress update:
I am almost done with five repeats. Normally a full shawl is somewhere between 11-15 repeats. This, however, has it only as wide as my laptop keyboard.
I am now accepting guesses/suggestions for how many repeats this should/will be!

Forgot that I hadn't shared the green "lost souls" shawl.
It's mostly finished, just needs the ends done.
Done with a size H (5mm) hook and a cake of cotton/acrylic yarn from Hobbii (Azalea, I think?)

one of my first projects I started was a Lost Souls
Skull shawl, which I actually got somewhat into but gave up because I kinda hated the yarn. It’s been nearly a year since I frogged it, so I’m thinking of picking up some new yarn in a color I actually like and trying again.
Has anyone else on here made this shawl? I’d love to see your WIP or FO <3

Finally finished a shawl I'd been working on~ using Fiber Spider's Tutorial on YouTube for the Lost Souls Shawl.
I used the One Pound Yarn in black and added the tassels/ fringe for fun~ (cat for size reference 😆)
