I write a while back a timeline where Pearl die and Marina became a bad guys because of it, wanting to avenge Pearl death and preventing everything to happen.

But what if Marina die ? I like to believe that Pearl would be be Heartbroken and depressed. In opposition to Marina, Pearl probably never experience loss and loosing the one person she care the most...

My headcanon is that Inkling can die of grief (like dogs or Lovebrid do when they lost their loved one) and Pearl is on this path here, she is inconsolable.

Valentines day for the dad au?

-The three dumbasess always forget about it, it never crosses their minds with all chaos in their lifes. -The first valentines day for Tommy and Tubbo (that they weren't even consciously celebrating) was the first time Theo let Tubbo go with him to one of his jobs, the most chaotic thing ever, and went back that night to the kids asking "Do you enjoy the day?" They were tired, beaten, and despite Tubbo giving a smile and a thumbs up, Theo said "NO" and slept all the next day. -For Phil and Kristen it became an especial day. They go full date, the family loves them, but after Phil force Wilbur to give them a serenade they went to "Please be lovebrids somewhere else." -And the first valentine's day the three of them spent together, they had no idea what day it was, but the kids wake up early to prepare them the best date ever. -The tried to be well behave to give the old guys a good relaxing day causing the dads to be like "Why the fuck is everything so calm?" And the kids prepared a special dinnner for three. The three idiots were all like... "Did we forget a special date or something?" "Is this like reverse psychology?" "Ok, what did you little shits do? Confess now!"

"Did we forget a special date or something?" - definitely mono/ranboo/dadboo/enderdad very worried he legitimately somehow forgot a special date even though his memory has been impeccable so far for a few weeks straight (there's a bet going on how far that lasts, a little part of him is worried he is losing that bet)

"Is this reverse psychology?" - tubbo/toby/tobias/tobi/dadbee wondering, a bit suspicious but having a good time. is wondering if his kids are pulling a fast one over him for some reason. or if they want something really really really badly that they're trying to butter up their dads for it. (what can it be now? another destroyer pet? more children? an eldritch entity they want to keep as a trophy??)

"Ok, what did you little shits do? Confess now!" - hands down, tommy/theo/fatherinnit. straight to the point, thinks they might need to move to another country again or there's some trouble lurking in the shadows that his kids have done and they all need to prepare. they're trying to soften them up for their big apology, or make sure they're not too mad at them. (it doesnt matter if some of the kids are technically adults now, fatherinnit WILL ground them and make them face punishment for their actions. and make them clean up whatever mess happened. he's hoping it's not his kids mess this time, he already lost the other bet about that earlier on)

but yes, valentines day for the dad trio is mostly an unintended casual thing. they never really realize what day it is until it's like over or someone says it point-blank in their face about it and even then, it's still a casual thing.

right now anyway, in the beginning it might've been a bit more awkward but yes. love this.
