In this story, teen Lan Wangji gathers his courage and confesses to Wei Wuxian and he's very successful! No angst, only fluff! Excerpt: “Wait, wait! Lan Zhan, where are you going? You can’t just—“ he breaks off, evidently nervous. There’s a bright red blush spreading on his lovely cheeks. Lan Wangji does not know what to make of it. “You can’t just leave like that, Lan Zhan. Not when… Aagh, fuck, my heart. Hold on, I need a minute.” Lan Wangji panics, “Wei Ying, are you feeling well?” Wei Wuxian shakes his hand in the air, dismissing Lan Wangji’s worries, “Y-yeah, well,” he swallows. “I’m just pretty overwhelmed that’s all and like, my heart is about to beat out of my chest, and you know, I’m flustered down to my toes. Lan Zhan, you should warn me before you say things like that my poor heart, oh my God.”

I just started reading Changes and *screams* It’s so cute and beautiful and makes my heart all soft and mushy 🥰🥰 They’re just so sweet together and I love to see how they just know each other and care for each other unabashedly.

I didn’t even know I needed young Javi before this. The way you write him is just so right. He feels both similar and different from the Javi we see in the show. Like a less developed version of the man we know and I’m so excited to see these two Javis blend together seamlessly in future chapters.

Hello!! Thank you so much!! The way I get these asks and people just *see* and *feel* exactly what I'm trying to get across is just so amazing to me. Young Javi was something I desperately wanted and couldn't find enough of so to have got to a point where it's here and people are consuming it and loving it is just so cool.

Blending young Javi into canon Javi is the next big step and something I know is going to challenge me and my writing but I'm excited about it. I've got the next chapter and interlude drafted but I know it's kind of a big deal and a big next step for me so I'm treading carefully 😮‍💨 my big girl pants are firmly on.
